I love this place and love their drinks. I have been a happy costumer here for quite some time now, and was excited to see they added boba to their menu. However, I hope the business sees this review and takes my advice. The boba pearls I experienced here were not up to par. I recommend that this business researches how to achieve proper boba. The boba pearls should be soft and cooked all the way through, with a soft chew to them. Boba should be fresh every day since they get hard again after many hours. Very good, flavorful and aromatic coffee! Comes in a white cup, so you can doodle on it while sipping your drink or afterwards, I like to draw in my coffee cups! We were on our way to Sequoia National Park and found this drive-through coffee shop after a quick Yelp search. Coffee drinks are much cheaper than at the popular chains. Jammin Java is always my go-to coffee spot when I visit Visalia. I first started coming here when I lived here between 2011-2015. I moved back up to my hometown in Northern California, and when I come down to visit, some of the employees still remember who I am. The coffee is great with competitive prices. They have a special every day of the week, too. When I'm ready to hit the road back up to Northern California, I grab a coffee and an oatmeal to go. So last Sunday I was visiting my mom in Visalia because I'm from Fresno and was craving a strawberry banana smoothie and my boyfriend wanted a frap so I found this on yelp based on the reviews and was going in with low standards because I've never tried it before and it didn't have a lot of reviews so I gave it a try. And WOW I was very impressed! The girl was very sweet and friendly and even gave my puppy a little cup of whip for him too! The smoothie was delicious and tasted the right kind of sweet and you could really taste the fruit as well. And the frapp was so good and it's hard to explain because it was not too sweet nor too bitter. It was honestly the best frapp I have ever tasted. This place is clean, the staff is friendly. The drinks taste great and best of all the prices are way better then the overly priced greedy Starbucks across the street. Really good coffee, however I can't say the same about the customer service. Everyone here really lacks enthusiasm and a majority of them act put off by having to do their jobs. Although they messed up on my order, when they were asked to fix it they insisted I ordered the wrong thing and acted like they were doing a favor by making the correct thing- specifically Katelyn. The following incident happened to my sister in law at this location today, which is the reason as to why we will never bring our bussines to this establishment. This incident has been widely circulated on Facebook as well. I'm not one to usually post stuff like this, But I want everyone to be aware and alert. I was just attacked by the owner of Jammin Java the coffee shop across from Walmart. He verbally attacked me and bent my hand back while I was in my car. He damaged my window. He was upset over the fact that he though I was going the wrong way in the parking lot. He blocked me in and got off his car and told me it's Mexicans like me that shouldn't have drivers license. I'm so shook up! I have 2 witnesses a customer who was able to get this on video, she had me pull over because she was just as shook up as I was and said I thought he was going to beat you up! The sad thing is I was trying to defuse the situation and asked him 3x to get out of my face and not to touch me or my car! I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN GO TO JAMMIN JAVA! I come by all the time because I love the drinks, the price (way better than Starbucks) , and the customers service is not to bad at times but I have never had a problem until now. I came through the drive thru in the morning per usual order my drink that i always get and the girl who took my order was super rude and had an attitude about the way I was ordering and once I got to pay window I noticed the same girl not wearing her mask right!!!! It was not on her nose and i could see her top lip which at this point she wasn't even trying to fix it or anything. I come by all the time and i see a lot of the workers wear mask and they are wearing them right!!! Not only was she not wearing her mask property but I could see my drink waiting on the counter and she took forever to charge me for my drink which at that point it was already separating and there was whip cream on top which I didn't want and i stated that and she rolled her eyes at me and took it back not only was it separated but now it was so much of the drink scooped out. I drive all the way from Tulare to visit this establishment. (I am approximately 20 miles away) The brownie frappe makes my drive well worth it. My only complaint here is that they don't have a business in Tulare making my visits here limited to the weekend. On the bright side, they are fast and pleasant. I haven't tried any of the mixed drinks and it seems like that is their specialty, so I'll have to try that in the future, and readjust this rating, but their coffee was too lightly brewed when I went by. They need a stronger coffee-to-water ratio. Then again, for people that like a lighter coffee flavor, not necessarily a light-roast, but lighter coffee flavor, this could be ideal.
