I saw Dr. Sulieman for sleep apnea in 2018, and was very pleased with the sleep lab itself and Dr. Sulieman's diagnosis and consultation handling. However, in mid 2020 I needed a renewed prescription to continue receiving CPAP supplies, and so called the office for that purpose. I was informed by office staff that in order to get a renewed prescription I would need another consultation, which could be done in office, via Zoom, or via phone call. I said "whichever was quickest and least expensive", so chose phone call. The call took place a couple weeks later with a PA, lasting about 10 minutes, confirming my weight had not changed, and the CPAP settings seemed to be suitable for me, along with some other idle conversation. I got the bill a month later for $205.00- $160 from insurance & $45 co-pay, and hit the roof! For unknown reasons, the said they couldn't collect from the insurance company (even though it had not changed), but I refused to give them any additional insurance info, and sent them a $50 check, saying that should more than cover a 10 minute phone call. Heated emails back and forth with their office manager followed, but with threats to send to collection, I went in in Dec. and gave them insurance info because I was in the process of looking for a house to buy and didn't want my credit score damaged. No word until 6 months later, after we had just made an offer on a house, and we get a collection agency letter with a credit score drop from 815 down to 674! I immediately paid the full bill (no credits for previous payment), plus fees, but it took over a month for the credit score to be corrected. We lost that house. While their services seem good, Dr. Sulieman's office manager/collections agent is nobody you want to deal with- go somewhere else for your sleep medicine needs. read more
