I've been going to Dr Pollard for about eight years, he is the best Pulmonary Specialist in Hawaii…read more(IMHO) And unless he retires I'm not changing. One of the few doctors who listens not just to your body but to you....not just complaints but life in general. The office is never chaotic and the staff is always cheerful, helpful and pleasant. No 20 patients waiting to be seen. If your appointment is at 2:00 you will be seen by 2:00 or even a few minutes earlier. I suffer with asthma compounded by bronchitis and Dr Pollard has worked with me to find the triggers and the treatment to keep me a well person. As long as I stick to the regimen I stay healthy. Located at Pali Momi, easy, convenient, up to date methods and treatment. I like a doctor who remembers your conversation from your last visit, has a sense of humor and doesn't leave you with the feeling your voice was not heard. Luv this doctor and his staff.

I usually wait less than five minutes to be taken in. The exam rooms are clean. The MA takes your vitals and either Dr or Natalie come in after. I feel very spoiled here which is why I keep coming back. I come here for my asthma, respiratory problems or even for general medical check ups. Copayment is due on the way out. This office doesn't validate parking, in fact I don't think any of the Dr offices in this building do. Most people park at the mall and walk over, as long as mall security isn't watching.

I've had a pleasant experience to date with Dr. Suleiman and his practice…read more It's not exactly as if I've seen lots of sleep doctors - you see one and that's it. But I'm glad my primary care doctor referred me here for possible sleep apnea instead of a bigger medical group or one of those online tele-sales clinics. I got the feeling that Dr. Sulieman really enjoys his job working with patients. He took an unhurried time to listen, consult, ask about concerns and my medical history, and patiently explain to me the science of sleeping, physiology, and how it relates to overall wellness and medical condition. It made me feel respected and well cared for. The office is pretty homey, lived in decor despite being in a multi-story medical building with killer views of nearby mountain cliffs. Pulse and blood pressure devices you could buy for yourself instead of a sci fi bank of blinking machines, it reminded me of going to my family doctor when I was a child. Since then I've dealt exclusively with staff and nurses, but they have been fine too. Very sweet and personable. Turns out I do have a mild case, enough to warrant one of those air pressure devices you hook up like a scuba diver all night long, which came by parcel from an affiliated supplier. It helped a lot from day one, and was no trouble getting used to. People describe health experiences as a journey, and this one started out stress-free, comfortable, and well treated. Starting out on the right foot, as they say, it makes the whole experience better. You can call me Scuba Gil now.

This Review is WAY OVERDUE! On Feb. 2nd, my son was admitted…read morefrom the ER to the 5th floor. There he received excellent treatment! His nurse, Matt, was absolutely great! He was responsive and very caring. My son felt safe with him. The night nurse, Cliff, was also very good too! Case managers, Beth and Tainika, kept our family up-to-date with our son's status. My son still has a slight yellow tinge to his skin, but he is stable and getting stronger thanks to the great care provided by the wonderful Pali Momi staff of doctors and nurses! Mahalo!

It's very difficult to rate Pali Momi because I feel that overall, their ER services and lab are…read morethe BEST on all of Oahu and the best hospital out of most of the hospitals I've been to in the mainland while my spouse was in the military. I would love them just because of their ER. If I were to move to Kahala, Kailua or Waianae, I would still drive to their ER in the dead of night over any other ER (if I could). I have never in my life described an ER visit as a service, but when I go to Pali Momi, it feels like a service. Like GREAT service for the money you're paying. I'm being catered to even when I have to wait a little for the Dr, the ER STAFF just feels like an ELEVATED level of care and not unprofessional or ratchet like other ER staff from other hospitals I've been to. The wait time here is always the shortest of any other ER we have gone to for other people. You won't catch the staff talking loudly or badly about a patient (had that happen at Castle ER). This ER will have have short, low murmured, light interactions and even when they're updating the next crew on patients before leaving - they are actually very discreet. With their ER, the staff station is just a comfortable or soothing buzz in the background and not like other ERs where people are talking loudly, yelling or laughing over each other while someone's in excruciating pain just a few feet away. I love how their ER has grown and how Pali Momi has UTILIZED their space on the first floor to make more rooms for the ER so that patients are not waiting long outside. That alone also adds to you feeling like they make efforts and give a damn about the service they provide. Whether you end up in one of the makeshift rooms at the back, I feel like they know how patients feel - once I'm inside - mentally I already feel a little better because I'm one step closer to being seen. The next step is waiting outside to be called and then when you're called they take you in to your room or space. You wait for the Dr., see the Dr, they do what needs to be done, then you either wait to be transferred to a room upstairs or wait for your papers and the nurse or doctor to speak about what you need to do once home or when you get your meds. This ER will CALL YOU shortly after your visit to FOLLOW UP on how you're doing. This is great! Anyway, let's talk about the service of their upstairs staff if you have to stay in the hospital. 1- This hospital is a lot cleaner compared to other hospitals, Queens in town and Straub on King st, but it could still be better. My mom had to stop a maid because she used the SAME flannel that she wiped the room with to wipe the bathroom and SINK!! The sink that nurses put the bottles on for the patient's water flushes for their feeding line or that patients themselves use. And if someone is in the room, they won't come all the way in to mop. I know they probably are just trying not to intrude but pls come in anyway to make sure the room is clean. If someone says they don't want it, fine but some people will appreciate it being cleaned thoroughly even if they're there. 2. The staffs upstairs are mostly great. You do have some very good nurses here, but I've encountered the same male nurse who walked in twice and almost use the SAME gloves he's had from visiting other patients. This is unacceptable as that's how OUTBREAKS happen. Your hospital has an awesome reputation, but that small carelessness from one person can ruin that. 3. Please please for the love of god, change or get a refund from the contractor that provides the sheets. I've been there a few times recently again and each time, the bed sheets do NOT FIT the beds! Please get bigger sheets that won't shrink in the dryer. I feel so bad for the CNAs and nurses when I help change my loved one's bed sheets and it doesn't even fit. To the point where the patient becomes uncomfortable due to the sheet bending the mattress inwards. I hope if we have another stay, that all the too small sheets have been replaced. 4. Keep up the great work. Your lab is very good at drawing blood and putting in IV lines for hard cases. We appreciate that so much. 5. Your insurance ladies are so polite when coming to ask for that and getting it done so we don't have to worry about it. I like that they will come to the patient to complete their paperwork or return their things so the patient doesn't have to come to them if they're unable to. 6. Shout out to your cafeteria. The staff in there is so efficient and kind. The place is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating.
