We found out about Matt Cawley Appliance Service from the Athens FB page, people were really happy…read morewith the service. I contacted him to check our gas dryer as the Jack A Slab crew mentioned they smelled natural gas coming from our outside dryer vent before they started their work. Matt was on time and has a kind and professional demeanor. Found it was going to cost more to fix than replace so we purchased a dryer from Matt, we liked his attitude so much we also replaced the stove and microwave, something we had been thinking about for a while. He delivered and installed all 3, again on time, receiving a text saying he was on his way, which was greatly appreciated. He didn't leave until he was sure everything was in proper working order. He was very careful removing the old and bringing in the new appliances. We highly recommend Matt for repair or replacement of your appliances.

This company came out quick but proceeded to ghost me for two weeks regarding the installation of my air pump. After that long of a wait, I decided to call R & L after seeing them at my neighbors house. I explained I needed a new air pump. I unfortunately can't remember who exactly I spoke to, but they were honest and told me it was an easy fix and that I could do it myself to save money. They told me the exact pump I needed and where to get it from. I had the pump in less than 48 hours from the dealer and install took less than ten minutes. It was as easy as they said it would be. R&L saved me about $150 with their honesty and also did mention I could call or text with any questions. I will definitely use them in the future for any problems that may arise.

Our 1500 gallon septic tank was new 14 years ago when we built our home and it had never been pumped, this was the first time. He said our system was in really bad shape and was a tough job due to the heavy caking and buildup of solids. He pumped and flushed the tank 4-5 times before he got it all out. He spent nearly 2.5 hours doing the job. When he was done it was completely empty. If you need septic service, do yourself a huge favor and give Keith a call. You will not be disappointed!

Rude people, when I called the man who answered sounded like I was bothering him, and the "attitude" continued even when we came in. We walked the store looking for what we needed, then waited at the counter for him to finish his cig and the other customer, while the woman "chatted" on the phone to a supplier ( did not even acknowledge us waiting) When he did ask us what we needed, I still got the full impression that we were bothering him. This is the 2nd time I have gone there and, in the future I will order online from someone else or drive to Bloomington or Joliet to get what I need. It is a shame, they seem to have a lot of stock.
