I always have a pleasant experience when I come here. It's a beautiful location with a large selection and great customer service. This time, I got more charms added to my bracelet. They cleaned the bracelet as well - looks beautiful and shiny! Very happy with it. I dropped my bracelet off the Sunday after Christmas (a very busy time for them) and it was ready for pickup in 3 days. When it's not busy, you can pick up your order the next day or even later that same day (depending on when you drop it off and what you are getting done). My mom and I just went in because my moms necklace from two years ago chain broke. They said it was not from there and would not even bother looking up her purchase history. The lady was short and rude. We would've bought a new chain but they weren't even trying to sell us a new one, or show us options. I went in to this location today and was very unimpressed, I was greeted very nicely on the upside. I had a birthday and received a few charms and a ring, I wanted to match a few girlfriends so I wanted to exchange the ring for a different style & size. I was wanting the "Twisted wire ring" I was aware that is was retired but had already look on the James Avery website & seen they had some left in stock. The lady at the counter told me they couldn't order it then I showed her they had it online and said she still couldn't order it. I told her I'd like a gift-card for my return and I'd order it online and just to add my charms then. A second lady came over, acted like she was a manager. She asked what we where doing and I told her, she went on and said she could order the ring. The other lady got defensive when I said she just told me you couldn't and acted like I made it up. They both where very smirky with me and the second lady was very rude. Acted like I was beneath her. She looked it up and said they could order it but they didn't make it in a size (9) I told her I could order the size (9) on the website and then she said they did. (She also bragged how she'd work for James Avery for 10 years). I then told her I wanted my bracelet/ring ship to my house, she just acted like it was the biggest hassle and told me over and over is would be $6.50 to ship. I wanted it ship and I didn't mind paying shipping at all none of that was a issues because I live about 45mins to an hour away from cedar park and wouldn't be able to come back for a few weeks. Then she rudely told me that I only live 30mins away. I think I know how far I live from there I just drove it. Regardless it was such a hassle and they both acted like they didn't know what they where doing. Very unprofessional and I definitely won't go back! There was more things that bothered me and I could go on and on about that terrible experience. I will go back to Georgetown location from now on. read more

My 9 year old son came to me crying on Saturday because he was devastated that he did not have a gift for me for Mother's Day. Our family recently suffered an ugly divorce and we are still navigating how to get through holidays. I took my son to your store and gave him $100 to shop alone while I waited in the car. He was so excited to pick out something by himself. The staff was amazing! They helped him locate 6 items that would stay in his budget and made him feel like he was a big boy! I love James Avery I wear my charm bracelet everyday. Today I decided to use this location rather than South Park Meadows where I usually go because I was in the area. I walked in and nobody said hello, nobody asked if we needed help, nobody came over to us to help us pick a charm like the other location does. So I decided to take a picture of the charm I wanted for my mom and didn't get one for myself like I planned. I would of gotten nothing to not give this store my money. But it's my mothers birthday so I went ahead and purchased. However not before I had to take a picture of the charm and go up to the counter to get someone to help me. I see I'm not the only one with this experience at this location. I'm sure turnover in part time employees has happened in the years, so maybe this stems from a poor Store/Area Manager. As one myself the service was appalling. I won't be back to this location and I'll let my friends and family know about the quality of service here. read more

Not a friendly staff at all. I had got one of those build your own charm rings. In 3 Days the charm had come off because of their poor soldering job, I could have lost that charm, but I found it and did they apologize? No. Worst customer service ever. I went to the store to tell them what happened and have it resoldered. The associate that "helped" me didn't believe me then got a manager involved and they just stared at the ring inspecting it for 15 minutes. I suppose to see if it was worn down or damaged which it wasn't it was still shiny new. She ended up soldering it as I waited but to question a customer like that is the most ridiculous experience I've ever had. read more

I had excellent service here tonight. I was visiting from out of town, haven't been to a James Avery in 5 years. Arrived at 1930, and the ladies helped me with the items I selected. I didn't even end up leaving until 2030 and they were all very nice to me and my friends. There was no rushing and they did not pressure us to buy anything, we felt very comfortable. Although I have always loved James Avery today I was left feeling bitter at the end of my shopping experience. I love the Jewlery there however the store clerk that helped today was not only rude but very unknowledgeable I wanted a St Christopher medal which James Avery is known to have Christian Jewlery and the sales clerk showed me the one she thought was which was clearly a st Michael. It's fine that she doesn't know the difference but to say she looked it up and that it was bothered me a little bit. I was very polite but felt I bothered her by asking questions. Wasn't professional at all. I also was the only customer in the store and there were other workers so she wasn't busy at all. Just was Not a normal experience that I have had there. I have several pieces of Jewlery from James Avery and I still love the store however now I feel better off going somewhere else rather than that location. Sad because I know this does not represent that company but if I was a first time purchaser from them I never would have gone in there again. read more

But I went in recently, thinking treat myself to hoop earrings for a BIG birthday, I looked for earrings first, finding only a few -- when I asked where they were, clerk said "hoop earrings are not in style now!" Too costly jewelry. No one greets. Even though I was a spouse of a former James Avery employee, I did not get any personal attention. Also, on many occasion I was told that the jewelry item was not in stock. So I had to go to Georgetown to get those items. Their website is also not very user friendly. read more

I love this location. My husband shops at the store next door and I get to take my time looking around. The service is always wonderful. The sales clerks always great me and they don't hassle me to buy something. The lady told me to take my time and that anyone could help me as they are not commissioned. Great no pressure atmosphere.
