Chainsaw mama is a very talented lady!

Always a great walk. Lots of friendly people & dogs. Great place for kids. Beautiful trees, especially in the fall.

This park is much larger and extends further than I thought. I decided to get out of my house one day and get a walk in while the weather was still nice(a rare cooler weather summer day). Then I decided to go to a park that I've never been to even though it's very close to my house, Bible Park. It has several green areas, people were outside walking, doing Tai Chi, others doing gymnastics, plus others walking around and stopping at the workout stations along one part of the path. I went on one path and walked through some beautiful plants and crossed over into more residential area and had a great brisk walk before it got too hot. There's a concrete path that bikers ride through and tennis courts. And many people set up tables and bbq in the park. Now I have to go back!

Wonderful park! The most popular area on the day I visited was the tennis courts, and they offer baseball fields as well. A standout are the fitness areas along the way, with a really cool fitness area relatively near the tennis courts. Go do some lifting outside in the sun! The park also has a great loop - half paved, and half dirt right alongside the stream. Highly recommended!

Great park! Loved the hike. Beautiful! I got to see chainsaw art being created before my walk. It was November 1st.

    I love you always!

This is a great walking park. Watch out for coyotes though! Sometimes the natural grasses get a little tall, but if you stay on path it isn't too much of a bummer. Star deductions because the restrooms and water fountains do not work during the winter. Bat boxes are cool!

Great mid-size park convenient to where I live. It has plenty of space and lots of areas for all. It has a bike/pedestrian path, tennis courts, basketball court, softball/baseball field, lots of benches to sit and just relax, picnic tables, a nice playground for kids, bathrooms and plenty of areas for people to walk their dogs or just walk in general. There is a lot of parking on either side of the park. The bike/pedestrian paths also connect to other paths around the area. Very well maintained and it really looks beautiful in the spring and summer.

Flat and well paved paths for walking or running!

A well maintained park that has everything! Walking paths, lots of grassy areas, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, and shade with picnic tables and benches. The playground is sand filled and more for the little ones (Toddler sized and up to 6 years old). There are some monkey bars, but older kids would get bored quick. Lots of Moms come here with their little ones and picnic. Lots of people walking their dogs, rollerblading, and running on the paved paths. Definitely a great neighborhood park!

It was a nice crisp afternoon; there was a slight breeze in the air and the sun was getting ready to set. My friend just moved a few minutes away front the park and we decided to explore a little. Driving up too the park I could see the beautiful green grass and trees surrounding the area. This park is quite large and had a nice walkway that went all the way around the park, as well as weaving through it. The walkway was large enough for group to pass each other on, perfect for walking, jogging, biking, blading and using a stroller. The multiple expanses of grass are large enough to have multiple functions without them interfering with each other. We saw people practicing martial arts, throwing a frisbee, plying soccer and just enjoying the view. There was a children's play area that had multiple families surrounding it and all the children seemed to be having a great time. I was surprised to see a man vaping by the children's park, when we walked by it left a pungent smell, but oh well, at least it was outside. This park is beautiful and I will definitely be back!

The amenities are great, and as I understand, this is (I think) the only park that the Highline Canal goes through.

The park is closed off for safety reasons but we take a picnic and camp out on the lawn at the neighboring Staybridge Suites to watch the action up close. It's a super fun way to kick off your Fourth of July festivities (for whatever reason, Glendale's fireworks always happen a day or two before July 4th). Earlier this week it was announced that the highly anticipated Glendale Riverwalk Project will be put on hold http://www.bizjournals.com/denver/blog/real_deals/2015/04/175-million-development-planned-for-glendale.html?surround=etf&ana=e_article. Instead, a new retail and entertainment district called Glendale 180 will be developed on a 22 acre parcel between Colorado Boulevard and Cherry Street, and Virginia Avenue and Cherry Creek. The city plans to break ground in the Fall of 2015 and officials hope to open for business in 2017. And this will mean that Creekside Park is going away. I'm torn. It's truly a shame to lose a nice, big park. But Glendale and its neighbors will be gaining job opportunities and new fun recreational activities. As it stands now, the design is thoughtfully planned with lots of open space, year-round landscaping, and meandering pathways that will create an inviting community gathering place. No office or residential space will be included in the new development, just shops, restaurants, and a cinema. And lots of parking. And relaxed open container laws! Apparently, Glendale used to be quite the hot spot back in the day so it's planning to get back to its partytime roots. Glendale 180 - see what they did there? The final fireworks display in Creekside Park is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2015. I, for one, will be there to help send Creekside Park out with a bang. Yelp Review #400

I forgot about the joy of watching fireworks, it was like I was five years old all over again with a permanent grin plastered on my face. I hope Glendale decides to keep the Annual firework show going even after the new Glendale development goes up. I was impressed and awed by the whole evening. Thank you Vicki P. for showing me some of the best fireworks in Denver. Pro Tips for the optimal Firework experience: *Bring chairs (cup holders are a plus) *Bring a jacket or a blanket (it gets chilly in the evening) *Food + Libation = Fun times *Parking is a hot mess, I recommend parking at least a half mile away and walking so you don't get stuck in traffic when leaving with all the closed/blocked streets surrounding the area

Atmosphere and Scenery The atmosphere at City Park is very…read moreromantic and calm. It is a nice place to walk around with family and friends. Or to just play at the park, and a lot of people go there for running, biking, or playing soccer. One of the best things about this park is that it did not smell bad. I noticed because I know some parks have a stinky smell, but this one did not. Even though we went during the summer, it wasn't super hot and there were not a bunch of bugs for that time of year. Crowd The crowd depends on when you go and if there is an event happening. It was not crowded at all on the day we went because we went during the week. However, I know during certain times of the year they have jazz in the park and it gets super packed. Most of the time, everybody pretty much minds their own business or they are friendly, but if you go for an event, you should plan ahead accordingly. Price: This location is completely free to go to since there is no park entrance fee or anything. Even the jazz in the park events are free and really neat, which makes it a great spot if you are looking for a nice place that is laid-back and free to enjoy. Parking and Transportation: There are plenty of places to park during a normal day, but when we went to jazz in the park during the summer, it did take some time to find a spot. You should make sure to show up early so that you can find parking. If you live a little bit away, you might want to take an Uber, or you can just walk or ride your bike if you live close enough. Overall Experience: My husband and I went right before sundown to do a picnic and painting date that also served as a photo shoot. We had someone set this up for us and we paid for it, so it was very convenient because we just showed up and followed their instructions. It was a great time to go because it wasn't very busy and the lighting was perfect. I think it is a good spot to have a photo shoot or a cute picnic date because it has such a romantic feel to it. We had a really fun time and I highly recommend this place.

Very open, clean, and spacious park. I love the dead and barren trees in November, we don't get that in California and paired with the cold, it feels weirdly nostalgic of something I've never had and warming on the inside (yes, I'm insane). I also passed by a lot of joggers and dog walkers in the mid morning. Very safe. I passed by 2 small lakes with some water fowl nearby, standard mallard ducks and Canadian geese. Very calming. Saw a couple squirrels too. Not a bad medium sized city park.
