My brother's disabled pitbull mix, Radar, died about a week ago, and spending money at this local venue felt like a meaningful tribute to Radar as I entered 2026. I only knew Radar since September, but I instantly fell in love with his gentleness, gratitude, and perseverance. Being here felt like a small but intentional way to honor him. I am so delighted to support a restaurant that cares about the wellbeing of animals, and that love is clearly reflected in everything they do. I had a delicious Impossible burger and a great vodka soda, and the service was excellent. This is a great place to meet people, with a welcoming and lively atmosphere. I hope to come back and give trivia night a try, and it's also a fantastic venue to watch sports -- so many screens and comfy chairs. Thank you for the excellent service and the yummy dinner and your commitment to our pups! Support local

I was a little leery of trying a place that I used to like that changed ownership but I was delightfully surprised! I loved how the server brought over a fresh carafe of chilled water. I like that because my glass never will go empty. We ordered the California turkey club and the bacon Gouda Mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server was so attentive. She was frequently filling my friend's ice tea glass. I also appreciated how she explained that they were short staffed and the kitchen was backed up. She kept us updated and honestly it really wasn't delayed much at all. I appreciated her setting the expectation and her transparency. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area. I recommend Stray Dog!

The cafe is located inside a bigger building and can easily be missed if you are not looking for it. There are signs in the window. No big sign outside to direct you. Ample parking available. Serving staff were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. I especially loved the homemade potato chips. They are so much better than processed bagged chips. I asked for recommendations before I ordered. I was directed to Dad's Ribeye sandwich. Oh so good! Thinly sliced steak with melted cheese and peppers. It was gooey, messy and the perfect comfort food. I highly recommend a visit.

It's lunch and dinner with a pretty small menu but the options are all delicious sounding! They also have specials as well. It was nice to see the same chef and some of the same staff when we went. There's only a handful of tables maybe 10 or so and then there is a counter at the windows. They had a nice mural as well as a nice neon sign. The whole design is clean and simple. It's one of the establishments inside "The Vault Town Center" which is a repurposed bank housing several businesses and eateries. The staff was super nice our waitress was very sweet. We went with one of their "handhelds" and one of their "steaks". The double cheese meatball parm and the boomer steak. The boomer steak was my favorite of the two because it had a really great flavor profile between the ribeye, the steakhouse onion white cheddar, mushrooms and crispy onions- great texture and taste! The meatball was also really good. Very hearty sized meatballs on a garlic bread roll with provolone and whipped ricotta. I didn't really taste much of the garlic flavor but I really enjoyed the ricotta on the sandwich. The portions were decent. I was full but not overly stuffed. Both of our sandwiches came with chips but you could upgrade to fries - which were super thin and crispy. I might upgrade next time ! Overall I'm excited for this location and to get a taste of Sammy's beyond their usual "brunch" Hours. Cannot wait to come back and to see what else they do !

There are no cashiers, but instead several touch screen kiosks laid out for you to place your order. There is a small window where you can visibly see the cooks in the kitchen. I ordered the Veggie Legendary with the Beyond Meat patty. Not kidding when I say the brioche bun makes it better, but overall this is one of the best tasting burgers I've had. It was hard to resist eating the whole thing. The patty had bbq sauce and mushrooms piled high on it. The cheese was melty and the fresh greens oozed out. Fries were hot and crispy. Their table setup is quite interesting - it's like a doctor's office where you remove the disposable paper from the bed after each patient, but in this case, from a table after each customer that dines. We did it ourselves and it was easy. We found seating for 4 pretty quickly, but it may be tricky for groups of 5 or more to find seats together. Cutesy artwork can be found on the walls along with a frame TV that had the Tiny Desk concerts playing. Prices were a little higher than usual, but it is New Hope so that's to be expected. We asked a woman in the kitchen for a to-go box and she provided one right away. The ratings here are accurate! A really great place for burgers and fries.

They got an amazing menu with vegetarian as in portobello mushrooms, but they also have grilled or chopped chicken, which is pretty cool. How, what, why It is a dry steak, not burnt. Really good! p. s. ( some real Philly cheesesteaks make sure it is actually burnt just slightly on the edges to get that super grilled taste. While others are so wet, it soaks through the bun and you can't even pick it up. And if you take it on a trip for 10 minutes...Inedible. Did you know that a ' real steak' is not made w oil ; but spots of water? That's because the fat on it should be good enough in balance that it doesn't stick.) Taste, smell, satisfaction It is very juicy and not oily, (which in my opinion goes through the bun when you take it out, such as when you go to Henry Avenue, or a couple local places) nope. No wet roll. Awesome and great to take for later and re-warm without it getting all screwed up. Idea for goin' South Like taking 50 of them down to Virginia or Tennessee. In a cooler. That would work. My pics I start with just a steak, sesame roll fried onions. I added two kinds of Parmesan, a touch of red pepper, salt, and yes, tomato sauce. Sorry I was raised on that. Ketchup is too sweet for me. Litmus test If you eat a steak plain, it'll really tell you how good it is. How much gristle is in it etc. This had NO PERCEPTION OF GRISTLE. NICE! Rating This was excellent. Prime protein, nice roll - Lisco's of course - well done. So you are prepared; While I will eat 1/2 of a sandwich and be very satisfied, the rolls are smaller. And the price of ALL steaks is higher. You know how your ice cream is shrunk? I actually didn't know my wife pointed out to me. Well, the rolls have shrunk. So sandwiches for four people will cost a minimum of $65 with tip. Get outside. It's worth it your kids will love it. I hope to be there. Thanks for a great sandwich.

What really makes it unique is the fact that you can place your food order and then go grab a craft brew in a plastic cup and then walk back to get your food. Or, if you prefer to bring your food to the bar area, you can do that too. We had a hankering for burgers and wanted to give Lucky's a try. I'm glad we did and it was an enjoyable experience. We ordered a share basket of fries which were perfectly cooked crinkle fries. They had ketchup available as well. We each got a burger, one classic and one Oklahoma style which had two patties. The classic had more of a Kaiser roll whereas the Oklahoma had a potato bun. The meat was fresh, not frozen and cooked nicely on a flat top. The onions on the Oklahoma were sliced incredibly thin but for some reason were not soft enough to bite through (my only disappointment). It's easy to find as the doorway is right down from Rita's on Ridge Avenue. Give it a try!

Since they are not open for lunch during the week I made sure to stop in on a Saturday in November to grab a burger. Normally I'm a burger purist but on this trip I decided to go with their Oklahoma Onion Butter Burger and a side of fries. I paid via credit card when I ordered.(they were not accepting cash). After about 10mins or so my order was ready. The burger has (2) patties and onions. Flavor was on point but the overall size of the burger was small for me. I could have easily eaten two of them. The side order of crinkle cut fries was equally small and they were just warm. Overall the meal was good and I would eat here again. However if I'm craving a top notch burger I will probably choose one of the other options in the area.
