I don't like to complain but I just feel that management should know I felt very uncomfortable at your location. I overheard employees talking badly about a customer's appearance (possibly me). The young man making my drink his name was Lyle or Kyle, I couldn't quite see, wiped sweat from his face and continued handling fruits or vegetables. I am hurt emotionally and also a bit irked by hygiene practices here I know it's hot but come on. You should not judge other people or act like you are better than them. It's the only Jamba Juice in my area so I go to it sometimes. The wait can be slow sometimes, even when the place is otherwise empty. The drinks and food are delicious, though.They also have nice staff. I had a problem with them not taking a $50, but I feel conflicted holding that against them since so many businesses do the same inconvenient thing. After sending 2 email customer service reports to Jamba Juice about our experience with no reply, I decided to call corporate. They were very helpful and agreed that chunky smoothies are not the norm. They were nice enough to send out coupons so that we could try it again. Thanks JJ! I will update with round 2 experience when vouchers arrive. UPDATE - we went I to JJ today to use the vouchers. We had a completely different experience today! Yay JJ! Friendly staff who was helpful , pleasant and engaging. We asked them to make our smoothies extra smooth. They said, no problem ! They added time to the blend and they turned out great! Unfortunately I must give this place two stars and sometimes I feel that that is too good. The smoothies are extremely inconsistent here, this place actually used to be really good and I could always expect a great smoothie, now when I go in I can usually tell by who's working if the smoothie is going to be trash. If the manager is working they are always good but that is very rare. It's unfortunate that they can't have all their employees make great smoothies I literally just got my smoothie, I ordered a matcha green tea blast and it has the consistency of water. I have to admit, I was not a fan of this location over the past couple years. But then one day I walked in and came across a new employee named Kevin. My whole outlook on this place has completely changed. My smoothie is always bomb, and I receive awesome (and quick) customer service. Although there is another location closer to me in Chandler, my family and I always go out of our way to come here. They always get it right. EASTON had some problem with doing basic stuff like saying hello and being polite. Guess he was taught manners. The manager had excuses as to why my acai bowl was runny. Since the change in staff the customer service at this location is subpar. The new staff ALWAYS seems to be bothered or annoyed to be at work. I always place my order through the app and I have barely been greeted the last couple of times I have walked in to pick up my order. This morning it was busier than normal, no greeting as usual. The music is so loud you can't hear anyone, especially the soft spoken girl at the register, nor could she hear you with our mask on. The guy in front of me was there to pick up, yelled his name after being told she could not hear him and I feel like that bother her so once she gave him his order she walked away and left me standing there, still had not been acknowledge. I waited a full minute before I said excuse me to get one of the other young ladies attention to let them know that I was there for a pick up, she seemed bother, as usual, got my order placed it on the counter and walked away. I will get my free Birthday smoothie at the Dobson location and be done with Jamba, I can't continue to spend my money and receive subpar customer service. read more

I had the worst experience, it was busy, while we were waiting for our smoothies, a woman walked in it seem like the employee knew her, they already got her order before paying and then one of the employees gave her one of our smoothies. They finally hand our 2 smoothies then continue with other customers. In all the mix up they still had the time to make the right smoothie for that woman because they put it in the fridge for her when she come back. We were still waiting for the last one, thinking that they were aware of our missing smoothie until we had to inform them and they didn't even apologize for their mistakes. They said "It should be fast" instead. And they gave us the smoothie that was meant to belong to the other lady. This location used to be my favorite. The young gentlemen with the glasses that works mornings is awesome! Great customer service, quick and mixes perfectly. The older woman working this morning and yesterday morning should not mix. I had to go back today and ask to please remake my smoothie thinking she accidentally made the wrong one, it was watery and lacked flavor. After I got my second drink I realized that's just how she mixes. An aloha pineapple should not taste primarily of strawberry and be so watery it's almost warm. read more

On my last visit I had a scratcher for a free smoothie, the daily special was $2.00 flatbread. I ordered both and was then charged $4 when it should have been $2. Extremely indifferent service as soon as I walked in, and I noticed this with all of the other customers standing in line. No hello, thank you etc. This was the only location nearby in Tempe, I thought they had more locations but the other nearest one is on Central. I go to the Central location a lot which is pretty good, they have a fair amount of office workers who frequent the place. I noticed a drastic difference in the taste of the smoothies compared to the other location. I tasted someone else's Tutti Frutti smoothie which is supposed to taste exactly like Froot Loops, but instead tasted like a very sugary Orange Julius. My peach smoothie tasted good with the flavor of peaches but seriously lacked a sugar component. I don't really like a lot of sugar but it's supposed to be sweetened with fruit juice, instead it tasted like unripe peaches. We went back to get a replacement for someone's drink, but that also tasted just as lackluster. I say, save the trip and go to another location. read more
