I dig Jamba...I really do. Today I tried the Poolside Fit, and it tastes like cucumber and grass. It's not BAD, but it's not great, either. If it's marketed as a watermelon smoothie, the consumer shouldn't be overwhelmed with the green taste. Just my opinion. I give it 3 stars because this location doesn't feel as warm as others. I rarely come in and this time was my last for sure. Cashier was great, only misheard my name and order which wasn't his fault. When my order (which took 10 minutes) was ready, the barista called out "Jackie" for a medium smoothie. My order was a large and I gave the name "Jackson" so I waited for someone to pick up the smoothie before realizing that was supposed to be mine. I asked the barista as kindly as I could if that was a the large Orange Dream Machine I ordered and he asked to see my receipt. This is my first problem, why give customers the option not to take a receipt when there's the potential of getting orders wrong? I let him know that I didn't ask for a receipt and this seemed to absolutely ruin the barista's day. I would have just taken the medium and let him call me Jackie if I would have known he was going to be so upset. Instead of reciprocating my apologetic demeanor (after all it wasn't my fault that I ordered something else), he forced a very loud sigh before emptying the smoothie into a bigger cup and making this very rude "here, take it" gesture with his hand. I felt like I had been enough of a nuisance so I didn't want to ask his name but once I got out I realized I should have. He's a caucasian guy with brown hair and a beard. If he's the barista when you go in, I'd advise that you don't give him the kindness that you would to other service workers, he doesn't value it nor feel obligated to return it. read more

what is it with Jamba Juice lately??? its like everytime i go to get a drink, its a battle with them.... I came in here to get a drink for myself, emma and my niece the other day...it was 2:30pm, so i assumed it wouldnt be busy... I walked in, there were 2 ppl in line, they placed their order and there was only one girl taking orders... behind the counter, 2 other ppl were just standing there talking to each other while 2 OTHER customers were waiting for their drinks. I overheard them saying "where's so and so?" after noticing that more customers were comin in...and the other chick says "oh they're not back from lunch yet"..still standing there, so of course, when orders are bein taken, and no drinks are made, a line forms...now there were 4 ppl ahead of me, god knows how many drinks they ordered... so i placed my order and stood to wait for my drinks...at this point, STILL no drinks were being made. Its like the 3 of them were standing there not wanting to help since it wasnt "their job" at the moment and one was "supposed to be off work already", but still standing there waiting for the others to get back so they can get relieved.. a good few min later, someone came in and started on the drinks...15 drinks later, i finally walked out with my order...which took 20 min. 20 MIN! I've had faster service at the Jamba Juice at the mall on a weekend! I guess thats what happens when you hire a bunch of teenagers that have no work ethic...HORRIBLE service... read more

i love jamba juice but a girl (shislyee i think her name was) was incredibly rude when i told her she made my drink wrong. I asked for no yogurt and what does she do? PUTS HELLA YOGURT! i am lactose intolerant and i immediately tasted the yogurt from the first sip. i asked her to remake it and she just got frustrated with me but like sorry i'm really not trying to get sick! I go to school by this location so I've been coming in quite a while. I made a tip comment about how awesome SOME (only 2) of the employees are the nicest and friendliest. However, when it comes to drink...I dont. I get mixed results! Sometimes its perfect, sometimes its too watery, and sometimes its just 0 flavor! I do enjoy the acai bowl though! Ignore the official closing time. The REAL closing time is 10 minutes BEFORE the official closing time. Why? "Because it takes at least 10 minutes to prepare each drink and they are made from fresh ingredients" says cashier Julie L. Even if they made the worst smoothies (which they most definitely do not), the staff alone would be able to keep the 5-star rating! We live pretty close by, so my mom and I come to this particular location often, since I was a little girl, and the service has NEVER been bad. There are the veterans that have always been there, then the periodic new employee that somehow assimilate so quickly. It seems like new employees always start out nice and then appear to begin to hate their job, but this has yet to happen here! Service can be a little slow sometimes, and lines are common, especially on hot days. However, once you step up to the counter and see that employee's smile, your prospective smoothie will be worth the wait! read more

Between inconsistent smoothies that sometimes have zero flavor, to ripping me off on many occasions by not filling up the smoothie cup, to super slow and sometimes rude service, I am done with this place. Not to mention Jamba as a whole have reduced the actual cup size, while charging customers more $$ per drink. The staff is completely incompetent. The only advantage these people have over a bunch of trained monkeys is a reduced chance they'd eat all the fruit. I was supposed to pick up a pre-order this morning. My friend had placed the order on Wednesday (2 days ahead of time). When I showed up, they had said they had no orders. I went outside to call my friend and confirmed that she had placed the order and Bernal was the correct location. I went back into the store to try and re-order. I had an order of 12 drinks and there were no customers. The manager told me that they could not complete my order because my order was too large. If they were busy or had other orders, I would be more understanding. But this was not the case. I had been outside for 30 min and only a few customers had come and go. They also had already told me that they did not have any orders. I asked if they could not do it now, if I could come back in an hour and a half to pick it up. The manager told me no and that once again my order was too large. My school has made orders like this several times in the past, but we have always used the Santa Teresa location. We will never be using the Bernal location again. read more
