I love Jamba Juice. I've never had a crappy server at any of the JJ's, here in SA or in Los Angeles, where I'm from. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, not 5, is because the parking really sucks at this end of the Quarry Market shopping area. I got a razzmatazz and PB Chocolate for a friend, and I went for the Green Tea one... it was very good. I don't advise to get the pastries there though. JJ should stick with what they know. Even heated, my cheese bread roll was sort of dry and didn't deliver the flavor punch I was craving. The staff was pretty friendly there, and everything seemed pretty clean. I'd say, yes... They made a few smoothies for me and after they were made, I realized that one of them had milk in it and my son is lactose intolerant, so I asked them if I could order another smoothie without milk and they made me another one at no cost. I appreciate that Jamba Juice offers option like fresh-squeezed orange juice instead of from-concentrate. The service is always friendly and fast. I always forget which "add-in" shots I want, and the servers are always very knowledgable and get me fixed up with the perfect smoothie. I will admit, that my choice is not the healthiest... but when I am in a huge hurry and don't have the time to sit down to eat a meal, I will ask Jamba Juice to give me an Orange Dream Machine with fresh squeezed orange juice, a vitamins shot, and any other shots to make it fill me up till my next meal. I have yet to branch off from my orange dream machine... I order the "Power" size, and usually there's enough to fill a power sized cup and a kiddie cup--- and I am always so delighted when they give me the kiddie cup as well as my power cup! Just be sure not to drink your orange dream machine too fast, or you will get brain freeze! Sigh, I wish there were more Jamba Juice locations in San Antonio!! read more

However, they don't pay the emplyees very well and recently reclassified a manager with same pay but now able to dip into the employee's tips, due to the change in job title. Terrible customer service would be an understatement. I ordered a drink and it was misrecorded as something else. On its own, no problem. These things happen. But that was just the beginning. I was not offered a receipt at checkout so I didn't realize the order was taken wrong until many minutes later when everyone behind me had gotten their drinks and I had not. When I went up to ask about it, I was told that they didn't have an order for the drink I asked for and asked if I wanted to order the drink I ordered in the first place. No, I already ordered the right drink... they finally made me the correct drink, but never once did either of the people behind the counter interacting with me apologize for the mixup. read more

Never tried their product, & never will here is why, I wanted a smoothie, their reviews where good, so I went out of my way, because first location was in mall didn't want to go in mall, so I went down the road a bit, my choice, the next shop my maps where having trouble find the place, you know the issues w/ maps w/ such tight addresses, Sooo I called to see what places was near them, (this was a 2nd call, the first call it rang & rang no answer, I was trying to order a head, i was on a time crunch), the lady on the phone was nice, I ask her what other places are near Jamba, she seemed nice, then I ask if I could order (I was 1 min. from place) she wanted my card information, I was driving! Asking for card irritated me a bit, because we had a little talk about I'm trying to find your place, I was customer that took to much time to find place, But, no problem I wanted to pay cash. so I get there w/cash & wanted to place order. The girl that open the door had mask, I had mask a table blocked door so we're not to close! She see cash tells me they not taking cash, that is ILLEGAL, you must take tender, i let her know that was illegal, she said because of COVID, (Still ILLEGE NOT TO TAKE TENDER) so i said ok let me get my card, she was shutting the door, & I said wait take my order, & i'll get my card, she said I had to call in order, now that pissed off!! how do people get their order!?! I wanted something to relieve me from all this summer heat. So, with the BOGO coupon on hand I went to Jamba Juice. All I can say I was not impressed, as a matter of fact I was disappointed. We order 2 smoothies the Strawberry Swirl and the Aloha Pineapple. They both tasted bland, and both lacking the taste of the main fruit. We didn't taste strawberry or pineapple in any of the drinks. I don't think I will make a special trip for this place, or any kinda stop at all. I don't know what all the hype for this place is. I have posted BOGO coupons just like I would any other place, but I don't think I want to be associated this place anymore. I was really sad that the Broadway location closed but I settled for the one at the quarry. Sadly it's the only Jamba Juice close to my school so I don't have many options. The smoothies are good, and I don't think I've ever had a bad smoothie or juice. The only bad parts are that the people that work there are not that friendly at the quarry location compared to the Broadway location and they also usually manage to get my order wrong most of the time. It also tends to get pretty busy around certain hours and can take awhile to get your smoothie. I was just there the other day and I walked out with the incorrect smoothie. I didn't notice until I was home, mind you I live 30 min away. I think this has happened about the 3rd or 4th time out of the 5 times I've gone. Luckily, the smoothie does taste good, but it does bother me that most of the time I don't get what I had planned to order.. One of the times I did catch the mistake, the lady only filled the large 3/4 of the way. I only plan to continue to go there because I had purchased a buy one get one free card from a fundraiser, but other than that I think I will stick to making them at home. read more

This is the first time I've been to a smoothie place since many visits to Orange Julius mall food in the '70s when you could get a raw egg blended into your drink. That's a long, long time ago... I don't really know how to say this. It sounds really creepy, but here goes: I drank the best orange juice I've ever tasted at this Jamba Juice. The OJ wasn't one of the best I've ever had; it was *the* best OJ I've ever tasted in my life. How is that possible? I don't know. My pop buys juice oranges by the case at produce row and makes his own every day of the year. His OJ is really good, but it's not *crack added* good. The OJ I drank today was phenomenal. If I needed to describe it, I'd call it sunshine in a plastic cup. I'm not sure what they add to it, other than the vitamin jolt I requested, but it was...have I said it?... unbelievably outstanding. The added bonus is there is no ice added. Order a 12 oz, get 12 oz of juice. Order a 16 oz, get 16 oz of juice. My daughter had the Matcha Green Tea Blast. I'm a huge fan of Costco's Oi Ocha green tea (I used to get it on the golf courses in Japan at the vending machines), and the Tea Blast was perfect. Lots of grass flavor with just a slight hint of sweetness. It would be perfect for a hot and humid south Texas day. I won't make a point of getting a Jamba fix every day, or for that matter, every week. Ten bucks for two drinks is a fair price for the quality that we received, but it was ten bucks for two drinks. However, when I'm jonesing for the best OJ on the planet, I'm going back to get the OJ with crack. And if it's hot and splendidly San Antonio humid, I'll get a Macha Blast as well. read more

One time, a friend of mine tried to give me 100$ in a jamba gift card, and they denied. Who denies business like that? 100$ could have gone to this establishment, and they denied it. My son and I are both in the ER getting fluids because we have a stomach bug. Being that the last thing either of us ate was our Jamba Juice smoothies from this specific location and my husband didn't and he is totally fine and the swabs come back negative for Influenza we are betting and so are our doctors that we got it. I love a good smoothie, especially after a great work out. The staff at Jamba Juice are always nice and efficient. If not that many people are in the store you are in and out in no time. However, if it's busy you may not even be able to get in the door. I recently went to Jamba Juice and drove around for probably 15 minutes waiting for a parking spot to free up. went here last week, they had a buy one get one half off promotion. we went around 1230 which seemed to be a time when they get semi steady as a bunch of people were coming in. The selection they have is huge with so many fantastic fruits, vegetables and additives for all your healthy needs. Unfortunately for me and my girlfriend, they messed up the order and ended up taking over 15min to make a smoothie. Fortunately for us though, they gave us a refund and the messed up drink orders. I always get the right smoothie here and I always get it fast. What really gets me is the front cashiers attitude. She is so friendly and genuinely upbeat and excited to be there. Which makes me happy just going in to get my smoothie. As someone who works in the service industry I can really appreciate a person who goes above the norm to a make people feel welcome. We were greeted when we walked in, our orders made promptly and they were tasty. I got something named Peach Passion...something-or-other, and it was great! It was so thick I couldn't drink it from the straw -- that's how you know it's good. They have a little patio that we had all to ourselves on the evening in question; there are only 2 tables out there, so during busy times this might not be an option for you. Overall, I enjoyed myself. Only thing that made me a little sad was there was a family in front of us that let us go ahead of them, and while we we waited for our order they let yet another group go ahead of them; they told the cashier it was their first time in and she didn't offer any suggestions or explain any options (such as adding a "boost"). I feel like she could have helped them out a bit more by explaining the menu or tried to make them feel less overwhelmed in some way. read more
