Extensive menu with plenty of fruit slush options (no milk), smoothies (with milk), bowls, or boba. I'd prob rec not getting the boba, since nyc is blessed with boba-specific spots lol I just finished a workout, so I opted for their large Powerful Chia ($11), which had banana, mango, pineapple, and chia seed. I got almond milk, since they didn't have oat milk at the time. Price point was relative on par with other chains. You can add Orgain organic protein for +$1. All ingredients are blended right in front of you, which is always great to see. Overall, would return to a Hawa!

My bowl was ready by the time I got there 5 min later and was kept in a fridge, and I ate it 5 min after. In total, there was 10 min between the time I ordered it and the time I ate it. I picked up my order and ate it before the estimated pick up time. By the time I ate it, the acai was runny. Since it was eaten within 10 min of ordering I feel like it was runny to begin with, not because I had ordered it for pick up. The acai flavor is strong and the 16 oz bowl was filling, especially because they give a generous portion of peanut butter. I appreciate how they spread the peanut butter along the side of the cup so that you can easily get some for each bite. The bananas were unripe, and there were some stems left in the blueberries. There was not a lot of granola in my bowl this time, but other times that I've ordered there was a lot. Overall a refreshing and filling snack or meal, but for the price I would expect better quality and care in the fruit.

I had never been to Pressed before and asked for her recommendation between the Blueberry Lemon Açaí and the Original. She kindly mentioned that both were great, but the Blueberry Lemon was a limited edition and definitely worth trying. She was absolutely right--it was delicious. The Blueberry Lemon Açaí was exactly what you'd expect: fresh açaí topped with blueberries, a lemon agave drizzle, and crushed lemon cookie-like granola. The blueberries were sweet and fresh, the lemon agave added just the right touch of tanginess without being overly citrusy, and the lemon crumble gave it a perfect granola-like finish. I could eat this all day.

My green smoothie was what I was looking for at not too terrible a price point, and the nice lady behind the counter didn't just serve it up with a smile, she also let me use their bathroom, which was out of order (not sure what was wrong with it, but they had it closed for customers that weren't me). And that's really all I have to say about that.

The passion fruit and chia pudding are always highlights and never a miss. Would not order from Oakberry or visit this location again as the customer employee interactions were so odd. When I came in, there wasn't any sign of an employee and when someone did come out, they waited for me to state my name. Even then, when I stated my name, they followed up with an, "And?.." I will commend this place for serving the acai in a reusable bowl as it made it feel less like takeout. It was evident that the acai was scooped and not blended as I had small ice crystals in mine. The granola was in need of something oily or sticky to hold the oat clusters together. It was also burnt in some places which added a bitter flavor. I did appreciate the balance of toppings to acai. WOULD I GO BACK? If I was in the area then maybe but I would not go out of my way for it.
