    Tropical açaí bowl
    Katie D.

We had 2 açaí bowls and the protein smoothie. Everyone was happy with their items. The fruit pieces were a bit large. Location was clean, the staff was nice enough. We ordered there and waited for our food; the wait was fine, not too long. Prices were about what I'd expect for Times Square location.

Overall: 3.9/5 (take out) We were strapped on time so we couldn't get the milk tea next door and decided to grab a drink from Juice Generation next door. It was a good choice anyways since I needed to detox after eating pastries and unhealthy food the past 2 days. I was debating between the Daily Detox and the Blue Beauty; the cashier lady recommended the Daily Detox if I wanted something more fresh. I got a large daily detox ($9.95; under "Fresh Juice") which was made of carrot, cucumber, green apple, lemon, & ginger. It tasted better than I expected and was easy to drink. There was no prominent flavor so very homogeneous. It's not the freshest juice I had but it was fine. My drink came out in a decent amount of time but my friend's Electro-Protein drink took a long time to make.

    Wth!! Acai bowl my foot

Huge disappointment! Wth! I came here craving an Acai bowl. The workers don't understand English nor what I requested. I asked at least 3 times for explanation, clarification, then a reorder bcus they messed up. Follow me here...I wanted plain acai (like what's served at playabowl). He said yes we have plain. When I received it, it's this weird color and it tastes like peanut butter. So I give it back & say I want plain no peanut butter...what if Im allergic. He remakes it and then the guy says we only have it as a peanut base or something like that but to top it off it wasn't solid like playabowl it was soupy. I was so upset at how it costed more than playabowl and was disgusting. I threw it away. Unbearable. I do not recommend his place!

New. York. City. The epicenter of culture, the beacon American cities aspire to, and a place where smoothies are somehow always $18. This Juice Generation location is super convenient to Penn and had my coffee smoothie ready super fast. I walked with it to my next destination and REALLY enjoyed the cold brew flavor with banana and PB. I assume all of their offerings are delicious and I appreciate the nutritional information that's readily available. If you're in the area and looking for a speedy way to start this day - this gets the job done!

My favorite acai bowl in the city and ever! The P-Nutty Protein is SOOO GOOD (and healthy & filling)!! I've reviewed other JG locations and they've pretty much all been 5 stars as well. The staff here were super friendly as usual and service wasn't super fast but not slow either. Probably waited about 10 minutes for my bowl. There's not much seating, just 4 stools at a counter. That's my only complaint. If it was busy ther wouldn't be anywhere to sit, but luckily there was only 2 other people in there at the time so we got a spot. Very nice view onto broadway tho!

I'm a big Fan of acai bowl and this is definitely my favorite in the city , smoothies are also amazing and the team at Time square across the street from my Job are very kind, always smiling and in a great mood! I usually order on the app and they have it right on time definitely my favorite spot for acai in NYC

I met my friend at Juice Generation as I was in town for a couple days and it's next to her office. I wanted to try their version of an açaí bowl which she couldn't rave enough over. Mine was ready quickly but we waited quite some time for hers as she had some special modifications. My bowl was wonderful however, hers was full of a ground up plastic bag from one of the ingredients. Unfortunately she didn't realize the issue until several bites in. So unfortunate. We returned the item and they returned our money. Not sure what happened. They are very busy and I'm sure it was a very honest mistake but they need to be much more aware of what goes into their food processors.

Walking around time square you have a variety of things to eat and drink. To do healthy we stopped by the Juice Generation. They have multiple locations but this one is closer to our path. This is a no sit down place except for six bar stools facing Times Square. People watching at its best. Although everybody seem to just buy and leave. Us too since we're busy as well. This is a great spot since it's an open design with gleaming floors and well appointed lights. Easy to follow menu and attentive staff. Fast service and a great variety of juices. I know going in what I wanted and I wasn't disappointed. Their Kale fresh juice is one of my fave. They come in two prices: $6+ and $7+. Do the latter. It makes more financial sense.

Excuse the half eaten bowl but I had to pause mid bite to rant about this tiny little thing that looks like mud and tastes like nothing and costs $10. I can get twice the size and flavor from any açaí bowl in California where everything is already overpriced. This place just takes it to the next level. Only redeeming quality was that there was no line at noon in an area where all the midtown finance bros go to get their salads, but sadly I had to find out why the hard way.

    Watermelon Dragon

Tried the Watermelon Dragon and Supa Dupa Greens while visiting NYC. Both were good - the Watermelon Dragon in particular was very refreshing. Not sure that they're worth the price tag but that's kind of the deal with East Coast juice bars

So I had a customer meeting in this area and needed to pick up "lunch" that wasn't going to cause me to be lethargic afterwards and decided to pick up a smoothie. I came here around noon since this location was within walking distance from Penn Station. The atmosphere was very vibrant and the location was ideal. There were a lot of people coming in an out as it was rush hour. The cashier here was very impressive in working 2 cash registers at the same time making sure customers weren't standing in line for too long. I ordered the "Peanut Butter Split" with agave sweetener, a shot of whey protein and almond milk. As always, I am impressed with the smoothie itself as it is a great cool refreshing option for something to fill your stomach. Although, I waited for roughly about 10 minutes for my drink to be made, it was rush hour and so I would not have expected anything less. Overall, I would totally recommend this location as it was very clean, the staff was friendly and efficient and this is a very convenient location if you are downtown already. The drinks are good and this location offers a lot of space making it feel less crowded inside. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of my drink, however, I can tell you it was equally as good!

Stopped by today for the first time- it was pretty packed very quickly. I tried the watermelon dragon, so good! I love watermelon juice and it also has dragon fruit, cherries, lime, strawberries and frozen coconut water. Perfect for a hot day, not too sweet and a little tart from the lime. I loved it- little pricey though everything is $9 and more on the menu and they need a better pick up situation- they call out your order number that you can't hear because it's so loud... but it was good and I'll be back maybe a little earlier in the day before the rush!

A smoothie sounded like the perfect snack so I headed inside. Juice Generation is a small shop, mostly meant for take out orders. There is a small counter in the front you can stand at, but for the most part it's just a space for customers to wait and the counter and workspace behind it. To the right is the menu. The decor is really fun, centering on the brand logo and New York City itself. The place was super clean and organized. I was quite impressed. I wound up ordering the Peanut Butter Split consisting of Plant Milk, Peanut Butter, Banana and Frozen Coconut Milk. The staff was friendly and whipped the smoothie up very quickly. The Peanut Butter Split is perfect if you are into peanut butter and banana flavors. It was also not so thick that you would give yourself a headache drinking it. I really enjoyed it! This is a great stop if you need a quick drink, smoothie or snack.

The storefront on 9th avenue is very small with very limited seating but the vibes are great. The staff is helpful in letting me know what the menu has to offer. Something else to note is that they do have food options - they're limited but there's still a decent chunk to choose from. Plus they come with protein too. I liked how my bowl had all the fixings and the pastry was "guilt-free" The prices are a bit hefty but for fresh juice and a yummy sweet treat, I'd be back for more.

I don't know why but something just same over me and having a juice beverage sounded correct - it must have been the nice weather that has finally hit NYC. Anyway, we headed over to check it out. JG sells a variety of juices and smoothies in several flavor combinations. Some of them are fruit-based, some are milk-based, and some have additions to help with immunity, detox, etc. Since I'm not a regular juice or smoothie drinker, I was looking for something with flavors I liked and not loaded with calories. I found that in the Cherry C Monster - this contained cherries, pineapple, dragon fruit, banana, and orange juice. The smoothie was quite good - lots of cherry flavor and surprisingly not too sweet. Service was fast and efficient - they're pounding out those smoothies at a rapid pace so my order was ready in no time. Overall, I had a good first experience at Juice Generation - I don't think it will be a go-to based on my tastes, but if the mood catches me I would definitely return.
