Jamba Juice - Jackson California When you think about freshness what comes to mind? Well one of the places that pop in my mind when I think fresh ingredients and tasty beverages I think of Jamba Juice. Now this visit has been a long time coming after a two year period of not stepping foot into a Jamba Juice I thought it was time after a long drive from Reno NV, i needed something refreshing and looking around the city of Jackson i had no other choices but Jamba to fulfill my cravings. But like most places there are some ups and downs to every business. Here is my opinion as well as a taste of my experience at this location. As I walked in I was welcomed by a few of the staff not all, but some as I stood in line there was about 4 or 5 people in front of me, I was just amazed at the upgrades of the store that I didnt realize at how long the wait was, did it bother me not at all. Knowing that the store was busy and the staff were busy i didnt mind waiting. After a few mins of waiting it was now my turn, i ordered a Bright Eyed and Blueberry which is amazing and i was surprised that the lady had told me that they changed the ingredients an said they were out of it, but would sub it for greek yogurt, which was fine with me. Why change a good thing? But then my wife ordered hers which was aok. We paid and waited for the order. Some issues I seen as I had worked at a location the cashier neither asked us if we'd like any food, boosts, or any additional items with our order. Maybe things have changed or she just chose not to upsell. As we were waiting for our order this nice young girl Alyssa was kind enough to ask we were doing an much and she was able to multitask with making drinks and carry a conversation, she then called out orders with a smile and made a lasting impression on all the guests leaving. If they had more people like her working in this world, business would be striving to better heights. Overall I would highly recommend this location for all families and anyone just looking for a healthy choice. Even tho the cashier didn't make a last impression, just be glad other staff were there. Menu updated heeeeeyy! I've recently switched to having smoothies for lunch and it was so cool to walk in and see the new cool menu items. I usually have anything with oat milk and some greens. The lines and wait times can be long here on some days, especially during warm weather. read more

Customer service not up to par. I was the only one in the restaurant and they took their time to service me. They were cleaning and told me they would be with me in a moment to finish cleaning. I decided to go to the bathroom, when I came out they had a long customer line wait and didn't acknowledge that I should have been served next being that I was waiting for them first. I'm at a loss for words. I'm a long-time customer here and order a custom smoothie that runs nearly $10. There is almost always extra in the blender and they always give it to me. Otherwise it just gets washed down the drain. Today they said I had to pay for the extra. I told them that they have been giving it to me forever. The girl said that's always been the policy. I hate confrontation so I left it at that. Then there were no straws out so I had to ask for one and to let her know I was not happy I asked if I had to pay extra for that too? Sorry. Ordered a smoothie with extra protein and added strawberries. Typically they upgrade the Sz of the cup but that's fine they didn't this time. Watched the guy make it without any of the extra stuff I ordered. That's fine too because maybe he forgot, but when I mentioned it to him and I asked if he put everything added, he said yes and lied. Time for a long overdue review of my favorite breakfast stopover before (or during) my daily grind at the office. I wish life were as simple as choosing between a (seasonal) pumpkin smash shake, a soy chai latte or an acai berry smoothie. Maybe that is why I come here multiple times every week. I feel grounded when talking with Abra and David, two of the friendliest people working within the borders of Amador County. They casually assemble my drink request while chatting with me about a myriad of subjects. Two additional tips: When you buy a drink you can usually get one of their delicious oat-meals (topped with berries and pecans, brown sugar or spiced apples) for just a dollar. Also, the busiest times are usually in the early morning, lunchtime and late afternoon. I advise you pop in in the late morning between rushes. read more

Staff is rude and unfriendly. I was going to buy an essential oil so I opened it to smell it before I bought it and the worker yelled at me to please not open them. Then they handed me my smoothie and said nothing else to me. Made me very uncomfortable and now I don't want to come back again. Too bad, I come here pretty often. If they're so worried about people not smelling the essential oil before purchasing, they should have a sign. It's ridiculous. Everyone smells shampoo etc. before buying it at other stores. The Amador jamba is the best that I've ever been to! When ordering inside I've never waited more than a few minutes for my order to be completed, and when ordering online the process is simple and my smoothies were always done upon arrival. The only thing I didn't like about the app was you cannot use a gift card to check out, although it did say they were going to make that a feature soon. I wanted to especially say abra and her assistant manager (I don't know her name!! She's amazing) for always being great employees! read more

Pretty good location, I always get my drink within about 5 minutes, even with other customers waiting. However, if you buy a tumbler and bring it in to get a discount, only certain employees will take your cup which isn't good. I wasn't told that I can't bring it in again when I bought it, and brought it back about 4 times with no complaints, but I brought it back again and they told me it was a public safety issue (understandably). Just seems like something all of your employees should know about during a pandemic. read more

Meh...I got the "orange carrot twist" for the vit C factor. Found out they no longer carry the berry/beet (??!!!) juice which REALLY sucks. I just ordered it from another store not 2 months ago and she said it's been "years" since they don't make it . The drink was gross, they put light ice but it needed more so I asked but it still wasn't very good I didn't taste any orange & it was lukewarm (gag). I also got the waffle which in the past at other stores was absolutely delicious but here, for some reason they grilled it I guess? It was blackened on some parts when I was finally able to get it out of the wrapper. They usually warm it & it comes out perfect-warmed through & all melty goodness. But they kind of scorched mine then it stuck to the inside of the bag so I had to kind of tear it out so it totally shredded. Lame. I'm happy Amador County has a Jamba. I will not be returning to this Jamba Juice. Dropped by for a total of 4 drinks. The employee, Addie (I believe) was making beverages when another customer walked in. She stopped making other beverages to take the other customer's order. After handling cash, she proceeded to go back to making beverages. I asked her if she could stop and wash her hands before making my drinks. I did not think I would get the judgmental looks or attitude from her (behind her mask) and then by her 2 co-workers after she loudly shared that I asked her to wash her hands. In these days where the is so much concern of disease I didn't imagine I would be treated so badly when I asked of something that should have automatically been done of an employee that works in food service. I'm allergic to almost everything and a young lady patiently walked me through all the ingredients and told me I could substitute where I had problems. It may be hard to believe that a Jamba Juice could be at the top of list for greatness but this one is. The lady that was working was the model of professionalism, she was super patient with me while I put together my order, she was so precise to make sure the right things went into my drink, and her uniform was as neat and clean as I've ever seen (which is saying something after she told me she was holding down two jobs, the other being Dickey's Barbecue.)
