Jamba Juice - Jackson California When you think about freshness what comes to mind? Well one of the places that pop in my mind when I think fresh ingredients and tasty beverages I think of Jamba Juice. Now this visit has been a long time coming after a two year period of not stepping foot into a Jamba Juice I thought it was time after a long drive from Reno NV, i needed something refreshing and looking around the city of Jackson i had no other choices but Jamba to fulfill my cravings. But like most places there are some ups and downs to every business. Here is my opinion as well as a taste of my experience at this location. As I walked in I was welcomed by a few of the staff not all, but some as I stood in line there was about 4 or 5 people in front of me, I was just amazed at the upgrades of the store that I didnt realize at how long the wait was, did it bother me not at all. Knowing that the store was busy and the staff were busy i didnt mind waiting. After a few mins of waiting it was now my turn, i ordered a Bright Eyed and Blueberry which is amazing and i was surprised that the lady had told me that they changed the ingredients an said they were out of it, but would sub it for greek yogurt, which was fine with me. Why change a good thing? But then my wife ordered hers which was aok. We paid and waited for the order. Some issues I seen as I had worked at a location the cashier neither asked us if we'd like any food, boosts, or any additional items with our order. Maybe things have changed or she just chose not to upsell. As we were waiting for our order this nice young girl Alyssa was kind enough to ask we were doing an much and she was able to multitask with making drinks and carry a conversation, she then called out orders with a smile and made a lasting impression on all the guests leaving. If they had more people like her working in this world, business would be striving to better heights. Overall I would highly recommend this location for all families and anyone just looking for a healthy choice. Even tho the cashier didn't make a last impression, just be glad other staff were there. Thank you Alyssa for going beyond expectations and we sure will be back.

Time for a long overdue review of my favorite breakfast stopover before (or during) my daily grind at the office. I wish life were as simple as choosing between a (seasonal) pumpkin smash shake, a soy chai latte or an acai berry smoothie. Maybe that is why I come here multiple times every week. I feel grounded when talking with Abra and David, two of the friendliest people working within the borders of Amador County. They casually assemble my drink request while chatting with me about a myriad of subjects. Two additional tips: When you buy a drink you can usually get one of their delicious oat-meals (topped with berries and pecans, brown sugar or spiced apples) for just a dollar. Also, the busiest times are usually in the early morning, lunchtime and late afternoon. I advise you pop in in the late morning between rushes.

Jamba Juice!! In Amador county, One of the best stops for me when on the way to Stockton, or on the way to South Lake Tahoe. This Location is on top of New things, and the owner Abra is one of the nicest and sweet kindhearted owners who go out of her way to make the customer to feel like family not to mention she gives alot back to the community and local schools. Store: The store is clean, with a well viewable menu, as well as offers brochures for more detail on products instore. Lobby is very well lit. Product: Every smoothie is made to order, with no additional flavors, and also available upon request is Boosts!! (For 25¢ extra you can add Protein, Zinc, Antioxidants & More) Food items are also available at this location (Pretzels, Waffles, Oatmeal) Fresh Juices!! Are a key ingredient in this business. The offer Fresh Orange juice, Fresh Carrot juice, as well as a list of New! Juices all made to your selection and last but not least my favorite Fresh Ginger Shots!! Look at photo to see. (You may get it with Orange juice, lemonade) or just take it the only way I enjoy it Straight. (Ginger, Cayenne pepper) Would I recommend this location? Yes! Overall score 9.5 out of 10. Visit sister stores listed below South Lake Tahoe, CA Carson City, NV. Check-in on Facebook!! @ this location and receive $1.00 off.

The tuna was simple, I'm not even sure if there was mayonnaise in it. Served on sliced sourdough with red onion and cheddar cheese, i found it deliciously satisfying. The sandwich is stuffed with tuna and I could have ordered a half sandwich and it would have been enough to stuff my belly. My Hubs ordered the vegetarian sandwich with potato salad on the side. He finished his sandwich, which was stuffed with lots of fresh veggies and sliced provolone cheese. He enjoyed it to the last bite! We were split on the potato salad. My Hubs liked the sweet pickles and the freshness of the chopped celery added to the recipe. I prefer zero pickles in my potato salad, but still enjoyed a few bites. The texture of the salad was pleasing and the amount of mayonnaise was very balanced. The soup of the day was, chicken and dumplings. I was disappointed that I wasn't in a place to order a bowl to take away. Next time for sure. The service was friendly and efficient and everyone appeared to be enjoying their food choices. The satisfaction was evident by the smiles and customer chatter coming from the outside and inside tables. Good job!

You order up front before taking a seat and there is a good selection of sandwiches for lunch as well as coffee and freshly-baked goods. We missed the window for breakfast but they also serve made-to-order breakfast dishes. My husband and I just wanted a smaller meal for lunch that day, so we settled on the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo. While the portion sizes are on the smaller side, they were balanced and filling for what we wanted (as well as very reasonably priced), and we ended our meal with an in-house baked oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie was huge and packed with oats but still delicious, with the proper texture and not overly sweet. Our sandwiches were simple yet delicious, with fresh ingredients and bread. The clam chowder was the soup of the day and so so good, I love when clam chowder has potatoes with the skin still attached. Our food also arrived pretty quickly, I would say within 10 minutes of ordering. Water is self-serve. We did not get a chance to try their coffee or the quiche that they're known for, but we will return to Sina's for sure and definitely recommend this cute little cafe for anyone looking for a quick, cozy meal in Sutter Creek!

Did a quick Yelp search, and found Blue Door Bakery and let's just say, I'm glad I did! They bake everything the morning before they open, so everything we got was super hot and fresh. I went with a sourdough loaf, their garden focaccia, and their best selling morning bun. The morning bun was delicious, and I don't even like morning pastries. Great with a coffee. The sourdough bread was as good as the reviews said they were. We made multiple sandwiches at home with them and with their house made vinaigrette (definitely order a side of this), it elevated the at-home sandwiches to another level. The garden focaccia was solid but not my favorite, it did go well with the pasta we made though. I wish they sold their sandwich focaccia bread as a standalone though. I was chatting with some other people in line and they saying how they go for their sandwiches because their vinaigrette and focaccia bread was so good, so definitely plan on ordering a sandwich next time around! If you are in the area and craving some delicious carbs and baked goods, definitely worth checking out.

On this trip I picked up some frozen ribeyes, sirloins, burgers, breakfast sausage patties, cheddar jalapeno sausages, and some chile verde and ranch house chicken. The chicken items I got come vacuum sealed, which is perfect when I plan to sous vide them. The things I wish I got more of was their honey pepper beef sticks and hot teriyaki beef jerky. It's very affordable and perfect for snacks. Another low key thing that we like are their frozen chicken wellingtons. super easy to bake at home and it's a tasty meal. I arrived in the morning and luckily it wasn't super busy. Grabbed a basket and before I knew it I had enough meats and snacks to feed a large family when in reality, it's just for a couple of us. $153 well spent and meals for days. The prices for the tri-tips have more than doubled since 2020, but honestly, still a great deal considering the size. $35-40 for a good sized marinated tri-tip is still a steal of a price. The mother lode tri tip is a can't miss and a fan favorite at any of our family bbqs. The fish was listed as fish and chips on the menu. So imagine our surprise when what we received was a very small piece of fried fish stick inside a GIANT sandwich roll with tons of cabbage fresh from the plastic bag smothered in a sweet and sickly sugar water glaze. I think they thought they were making coleslaw. Uhh, no! No mayo, no spices, no seasoning, just cabbage from a bag swimming in sugar syrup, no acid, no flavor. The hot dog was straight off the Sysco truck. Probably cost all of .85 to make but charged 10.00! Really not a good dog at all but what made it worse was more of that sweet, crappy coleslaw that seems to be the "filler" on all their dishes. A big plastic container of crappy coleslaw with a tiny portion of what you actually ordered does not disquise a terrible dish and way over priced food. When I asked why don't you display their pricing on the chalkboard menu, the response was "we want you to ask"? WTF?? You mean you want to hide your ridiculously overpriced food vs what you actually receive. Also, the fish sandwich was written as fish and chips. Barely any fish, all bread and said crappy coleslaw along with a few very cold, greasy, kettle chips. Not actually chips nor fish and chips in the traditional menu item. Bait and switch selling tactics delivered with subpar food. They did earn a star because when I questioned the description of fish chips and showed them what we received saying this is a fish sandwich, not fish and chips, he asked me what did I expect? Umm duh, I expected Fish and Chips just as you wrote on the menu description (with no price). I told him I would give him back the humongous, dried sandwich roll for another peice of fish. He accommodated the request turning a terrible review into a buyer beware review with the key tip to ASK questions! Ask about price and how the dish is actually composed and with what ingredients. Buyer Beware!
