    My order
    Mark H.

I don't want to be too harsh, the inside of the store could use a face lift, it's not the cleanest environment. I ordered the açai bowls and the watermelon lemonade smoothie both were very soupy, no thickness at all. The customer service wasn't bad. Not sure if I will be revisiting this location anytime soon

The no granola on my açaí primo and the medium NOT LARGE cup I purchased
    Luz B.

Sad to say after the asking for ice water all of a sudden you must pay for it. I did the refused to give me a receipt for a purchase I was forced to make and they have no explanation as to why they can not provide receipts. They are always running out of granola and go figure fresh cut fruit. Must say this place has turned into a dump lately! Emmerin I think is the so called manager and Marion the cashier. If you take a look at the pic The no granola on my açaí primo and the medium NOT LARGE cup I purchased or the Peanut Butter they sure did charge for.

The unfriendly worker inside by the door, the line outside, and the glare blocking the view of an empty store.

Ha! My last review 5 years ago was also 1 star lol I'll just write the dialogue that happened today. Scene: Compton Jamba, family of 3 waiting outside, a young female worker inside the front door. Me: Excuse me, I have a pick up order. Jamba: You have to get in line. I stand behind the family. 4 more ppl line up behind me. Someone walks out with their order. Jamba to family of 3: only 1 of you can come in. Family of three walks away to Subway. Me: Excuse me, I'm just one can I come in for pick up, the family just left. Jamba: You have to get back in line Guy behind me laughs and tells the line, wow Jamba showing no love today. We all wait. The sign on the door says no more than 5 customers. There were 2 inside. Worker waits till both are done before calling the next 5 in. I understand the lockdown has changed routine for now, but common sense and customer service should not be sacrificed. There needs to be better methods, perhaps taking down names of mobile orders so we can do what we came for and pickup without standing in the order line. PS. My pick up order was ready to go and slightly melted.

Mango medley 7.59, acai primo is 7.99. Not sure if the difference in portion size is a one time thing or if I just got bad service tonight
    T V.

The acai bowls are not always worth the price you pay. I paid 40 cents more for the bowl with less. Granted i don't know what portions they're supposed to be following but $7.99 for noticibly less product compared to the bowl i paid $7.59 for just seems wrong. The guy made a new batch of acai mixture and poured half of what was made. The girl working made the mango medly bowl, so maybe it was the employee and not the stores standardized portion. Either way this was incredibly disappointing and I left feeling like I got cheated. And as far as the customer service goes, its usually good to great, but tonight was borderline rude and disengageing. At this location I would rather get the wrong order from someone with a good attitude, than the right one from the people who closed tonight (10/10/18)

Half empty açaí bowl and they don't have all the ingredients

I've encountered at least 5 different people and they've all been amazing! I am really big on customer service so they are already winning before the food and drinks are ordered. I can tell it is a family business. It has that feel and I love it. I tend to find something I like and veer. My go-to selects are the mudslide (a protein smoothie), the breakfast croissant (what makes this bomb us how much you get on it - 4 proteins!) And the vanilla cold brew with oat milk topped sea salt foam. The pesto chicken sandwich is being eyed however. I really need to try more of the menu. Today, T.K. made my sandwich. He told me he made it with love and asked me if I wanted to see it. I was so hungry and so happy that he made it with love and was excited to see his creation. It was magnificent! And Michael (I think, sorry if I got that wrong) made a wonderful cold brew for me today, too! They were both new employees but so attentive to me and it really made my day even better. They have a points program, too. Every 50 points earns you $5 off. The store is always clean. They have a small seating area but they somehow manage to make it feel roomy by maximizing the space. There is plenty of seating with a mounted television, too. I love the little details and the effort they make. For example, they offer flavored coffee creamer. I am very particular when it comes to my coffee which is why I tend to never order coffee when I'm out. Instead, I usually do like a latte or cappuccino but having these options is clutch. I make mine at home with french vanilla creamer so this makes me smile. Also, I believe their coffee is dark roast which is right up my alley. It is all I drink. Don't swing no medium roast my way. I am pretty much a guaranteed customer. I'll be back! Highly recommended!!!

I can't speak to the tacos sold at a place that does drinks as I haven't tried them, but I can say the following: Ambiance (3/5): Small but cute, they don't skimp on AC even as it's a sunny little shop. Great for studying if you're able to nab a seat; they have three tables that seat 4 (maybe 5 if you bunch up on the bench). The natural lighting makes it pretty nice to so some work in there. They have an extension cord with multiple outlets tucked in the corner under the corner table. Service (4/5): Server was friendly and quick. I'm glad he asked if regular milk was okay because it reminded me that it's not for my husband. It's a small thing but it's appreciated! I also loved the little surprise of getting some extra smoothie in a small cup, perfect for my daughter. Why can't other shops be like this? Appreciate it! Drink (4/5): The strawberry banana smoothies tasted fresh. Real fruit bits and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. My husband and I both noted that it had great flavor. My only gripe was that it was still a bit icy; it was hard at times sucking the smoothie out of the boba straw we used. If it were blended fully and smoothly, I would say it would be near perfect. Would we come back? Based on this experience, if we need a quick stop for a drink before the freeway, this makes for a good stop. I wouldn't mind trying out one of their match drinks next time (those look pretty good)!

It is located in a small plaza across from Galaxy Park which makes it great for post-workout or if you want to walk around a bit after eating or just casual eats. There's also a great dessert place in the area (Ken's Ice Cream Parlor). It's self-serve, but when our party got there the kiosk wasn't working (they did fix it after we ordered). The menu prices online when we searched through our phones are outdated so when we ordered at the register food was pricier than expected. However, the food was really good. -Edamame wontons are a new favorite for me! I'll have to keep an eye out if I ever see them on a menu. -El California Burrito: For some reason this took the longest to make, but not sure why. The chips were warm so maybe they made them fresh? Overall service and food was made pretty quickly. My friends got the got the Korean Tacos, Groovy Burger, and Pork Belly Banh Mi and everyone seemed to enjoy the food. Definitely worth a try and return visit.

I ordered the pork belly Bahn mi and it was amazing. It had big chucks of flavorful and tender pork belly, plenty of vegies and the right amount of sauce. I especially appreciated the fact that the bread was toasted just right and ensured the sandwich didn't get soggy. I elected fries for my side and upgraded to truffle fries. They were nice and crispy and lot of cheese and truffle flavor. For my drink I tried the strawberry matcha. It was a great value, got 25% sweeet and it was perfect for me. Very refreshing. One of my coworkers ordered the El California burrito. It was pretty big and he couldn't stop raving about the huacatay crema. He even went up to the counter and asked for extra. Other members in my party ordered the Baja Bowl, Thai Chicken Curry and Saltado Peruano. Evryone loved their dishes and mentioned they cant wait to come back and try something new. The staff was very nice and attentive. The only thing was that I ordered 1st but received my order last but perhaps it take longer to make. Will be back to try the mojo cubano for sure!
