Gosh the overall rating is treacherous. When I see something like that and I read the reviews and it's about customer service that's a leadership problem I get it employees need know what to do but that leadership manual should be very strict on standards and expectations of customer service. Now on with my review. I'm at Jamba Juice--different location, same crisis: no blueberries. Apparently, all the Jambas are out of blueberries, and for someone who loves them in my Açai Primo, this is bordering on catastrophe. Yes, you can give me extra strawberries and add a little more honey, and I'll survive--but what about my antioxidants?! Nonetheless, everything else was still pleasing to the palate. I got my sugar fix while being able to tell myself, "It's fruit." So, blueberry shortage aside, Jamba still delivered. This location is still fairly on the new and appears to be clean. My daughter described as "fresh and vibrant", which I thought was pretty accurate. To be fair, they must have just cleaned the floors because all of their chairs were on top of the tables. I did find it a bit strange considering that they were stil open for a while and there wasn't really anywhere to sit. I do like that they offer a variety of dairy-free options to add to your smoothies as well as add-ons, like protein. They also offer bowls if youre looking for something other than a smoothie. The only reason this gets one star is because the other night I drove out of my way for a much anticipated large apples and greens and never got to taste it! The cup was in the cup holder, it tipped off to the side and filled both cup holders and onto the rest of the console. Bottom line, it was a huge mess I'm still cleaning up just because employees do not take the time to make sure the lid is on properly!! I would say that this location service is very slow. And most of the time the amount of acai is less than half at times . It's just depending on the day. My kids are addicted to them but better buzz has bigger cups and amount of açaí for the price. They should switch the top cover for the round top so the fruit to be the top . Wish I could give this an even lower score. I have been going to Jamba Juice for years and I always order the same drink. Mind you I've ordered it at this location as well as others without issues until yesterday. I always order a raspberry dream machine which is on the secret menu and not once have I ever been told anything except ok and charged. Last night I come to this location and order it and am told by the drive through attendant that's not a real drink. I proceed to calmly advise I order it all the time and it's on there online secret menu. She then gives me attitude and says just because its online does not mean she knows how to make it and if I want it I need to order it online then. I pull up to talk to the manager who is very calm trying to defend his employee but at this point I am livid. I don't need attitude from someone because they hate their job, if you don't want to work then quit. She come to the window starting another argument with me saying she is new. Well if you're new and don't know everything ask your manager instead of telling me no and giving me attitude. As someone who deals with people all day for work I would never argue with a customer. She then storms off throwing something like a child. Worst customer service ever ending with me not getting my drink as the manager who came to the window was to busy dealing with her to handle the issue of my drink. I will never be back at this location ever again. I can see why the reviews at this location are so horrible. As a long-time customer of Jamba Juice, I have always appreciated the quality of your products and the service provided. However, during my recent visits through the drive-thru, I encountered an issue that has left me quite frustrated. Each time I attempted to place an order, the drive-thru employee interrupted me by repeatedly asking, "Anything else?" before I could finish my request or place a second order. When I addressed this with the employee at the window, the manager, Kiana, came over and, rather than addressing my concern, accused me of giving her staff a hard time. I was taken aback by this response, especially since I was merely trying to communicate my order. I parked my car to enter the store and speak with Kiana directly, but she walked away and suggested I file a complaint without giving me the opportunity to explain my experience. As a regular customer of Jamba Juice for many years, I expected better treatment and respect. I believe that all customers deserve to be heard and treated courteously, and I hope this feedback helps improve the service at this location. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a Jamba before. Everything started smoothly in the drive through when they took our order and when we got to the window they retook our order which is no problem because I understand there can be some troubles. The part that was bad was when we got handed the wrong açaí bowl and when I went inside to get the correct bowl after leaving the drive through the employee very rudely yanked the bowl out of my hand as another employee started making the correct bowl without changing his gloves that were full of Nutella chocolate. The Açaí primo, the bowl we did order does not come with Nutella, yet our bowl had it all over the plastic container. When I grabbed the bowl my hands became full of chocolate. This was a terrible experience not only by getting the wrong order but the very rude and unprofessional employees looked like they just did not want to be there and made sure I knew that was the case. They need to be retrained if they even received any training on how to treat customers and be sanitary when making an order. read more

Came from a run and was craving jamba juice. Was expecting a cold acai bowl except received a runny liquid acid bowl. So sad. It was a lot smaller than I expected. Acai bowls aren't supposed to be like this At this point it's best to grab acai from Costco if anything. I also got a Green 'n Ginger smoothie (or is it reversed?) and was pleased with the taste. Not too bitter from the ginger but neither too sweet. Hence I gave it an extra star. $8.99 for small size though. I've sold small smoothies before for $6.99 for this kind of size so that's a bit iffy. So much potential but not there yet in this location. read more

I thought maybe MAYBE it was the fibers from the mangoes... i waited for it to dry, it turned wet/orange looking to white, then i tried to tear it in half and it wouldn't tear till i pulled them apart really hard. They basically make you feel like you're begging for food and when your order is ready? Watch out. I always receive my order basically shoved in my car window or I receive am attitude as if I'm bothering them. I think I would travel to another location then deal with this terrible experience again. I think the only time I'll come again here is if I'm starving and there is nothing else open. Jamba is a classic , honestly don't think it's the healthiest unless you stick to Ty he plant juices or fresh squeezed juices but it dude does taste wonderful. I have many of there classic pre-made recipes like mango a go go, strawberries wild, and the seasonal watermelon freeze is a lot more icy than creamy but refreshing AF. Also had the carrot-orange juice, the green machine ( i think that's the name) and they are really good. But my go to is a Strawberries While add blueberries and an extra banana. Cant go wrong with that. Nice service wise the newest location in south Chula Vista could use some work. More smiles, a little more knowledge of the ingredients and they have a free app. I have had it code so long i forget which phone # i had connected to the account. Some of the less knowledgeable staff will say they can only look it up with your phone #. But i have had multiple of the more experienced staff look me up with just my email with no problem whatsoever. And some tell me it's not possible. So i recommend not forgetting your phone at b home if you want to use your rewards. Every $1 you spend is a point after 30 points you get $3 off and once in a while like a BOGO or $1-$2 off a waffle or a bfast sandwich. So it's way worth DL'ing the app. Now i have noticed like everywhere the prices are going up yet portions stay the same. A small warmed up circular belgian waffle is like $4 and to get full it takes like 3 of them. But what do you expect it's a smoothie bar. In short (LOL) if you like a good frozen not fresh fruit smoothie with juices or almond,soy,coconut or just milk as the base along with frozen yogurt and or sherbet for consistency thisbis your place. I went through the drive through and got an Açaí bowl & a dragonfruit bowl. The dragonfruit bowl was filled but my açaí bowl was not. Mostly toppings and it wasn't even halfway full. I went inside the store with my bowl and asked if this is their normal portion and they said "yeah that's our normal portion" But the image on the menu board shows differently, with it filled to the top BEFORE toppings. They gave me a side of extra smoothie in a bowl to make up for it but that one had a big frozen chunk in the middle. I pay $10 for a bowl, I expect it to be full the first time. Today i went through the drive thru for lunch wanted a white gummy smoothie and acai bowl, i was with a friend and we both ordered the same thing. Servers name was "KIANA Q". They had handed me my bag with acai bowls and told me to have a good day without me even paying or giving me my two smoothies. I recently had a great experience at this location. I walked right in ordered off of the underground menu, and the young gentlemen didn't hesitate to make my drink. He didn't know the ingredients, but I pulled it up on my phone, and made it happen. I've been to numerous Jamba juices were they refused to make it.
