Very kind and courteous employees, super clean facility. I have had stuff stored here multiple times and would always come back.

By far, the best customer service I've had in a while. When I first called Chris answered the phone and he was very helpful. Once I got there I was helped by Ivan. He took me on a tour to the storage which I'd be using and answered any questions without hesitation. Thank you Chris and Ivan. You guys made my day very easy, I really appreciate it read more

Hours are wrong on maps.... i got here an hour before "closing" and needed something for work immediately and was told to leave. It's absolute bullshit that you cant get your OWN property after fucking 6pm. Take your things elsewhere. read more

Thank you Jamacha Point Self Storage for your professionalism and willingness to assist in my storage needs. Catryce and Angelo were prompt in greeting me and showing the available units for my needs. The pricing was fair when compared to other units I inquired about in the area. I was even offered a discount for my first 2 months which I was not expecting, but certainly welcomed ;) I look forward to storing my things here in this location! read more

Best people working there they'll hook it up. Nice storage. Clean... Monica needs raise btw

STELLAR SERVICE SETS SELF-STORAGE STANDARD I am compelled by experience and circumstances to provide accolades to this self storage facility for its unequivocally superior service, security and helpfulness over the past two years. I moved into a large unit at Jamacha Point after vacating large storage units at a competitor's facility in Kearny Mesa. I was persuaded to vacate large units, after many years of tenancy, by the dispassionate, unpredictable management style, high staff turnover and unwarranted rental fee increases. When I searched the marketplace for a facility that seemed to meet my exceedingly high standards for customer service and all that is important in a self-storage facility, I discovered Jamacha Point near my home in Spring Valley-and what a blessing it has been! From the outset, the manager did everything humanly possible to ensure that my needs and preferences were respected. His professionalism, respect and willingness to work with me to find the perfect storage solution were most admirable. Over time, my experience with this business has absolutely convinced me that it is a model of what self storage facilities should be. The security, immaculate facilities, variety of storage unit sizes and configurations, personable staff members and commitment to clients and their needs are all reasons to choose this facility. The current manager, Enrique, and his associate, Dawn, have consistently provided the most outstanding service, characterized by respect, flexibility, accessibility, graciousness, forthrightness and, above all, INTEREST. I capitalized the word "interest" because I fervently believe that it is the most important, essential component of great customer service. Indeed, great customer service cannot exist without this palpable personal and professional trait. Dawn's business card states that she is a "Storage Consultant." She is, to be sure, a consultant and "then some." She has distinguished herself over many months with an amazing, warm, direct and caring personal demeanor, and a communication style that any firm would do well to emulate. I believe that it is partly attributable to her desire to honor and respect the management style of the site's manager, Enrique, who always puts clients first and represents them honestly to upper management whenever there is a need to escalate an issue that is important to a tenant. In addition, he respects, supports and appreciates his co-workers. Enrique is unquestionably a seasoned professional who is hands-on at all times, sincere, fair and deferential. I have been associated harmoniously with literally dozens of self storage managers over the past decade, but none of these so-called professionals has even remotely created the sense of partnership that I feel with Jamacha Point. Enrique and Dawn complement each other perfectly and go out of their way to accommodate the needs of all their tenants, without hesitation and without exception. If you are considering a modern, convenient storage facility in San Diego's east county, I would strongly urge you to call Jamacha Point for information and to schedule a visit. The rates are more than competitive, the service is superior and a truck will be provided to help you move into your new storage unit in this gated, well-maintained property near the 94 freeway and Sweetwater Springs Boulevard. Most importantly, you'll have Enrique, Dawn and the rest of the staff to give you what you won't get anywhere else-impeccable manners, deferential treatment, magnificent communications from Dawn to help you with all aspects of your tenancy, and an uncommon willingness to provide you with everything you need to make the storage of personal or business belongings an uncomplicated and pleasurable experience. Perhaps I should tell you that marketing and customer service are two of the areas in which I have expertise as a consultant. Brand differentiation is one of the most daunting challenges a business can face today, in any industry. Jamacha Point has succeeded admirably in its efforts to prove that its standing in the self storage business is unassailable. Jamacha Point is only one of several facilities in San Diego County operated by the parent company, but it exemplifies the core values and professional ethics of a firm that is clearly providing exceptional value and an unyielding commitment to its employees and clients. You'll notice that I avoid the word "customer," intentionally, because clients alone are loyal to businesses which have earned their respect and support. Clients provide referrals, just as I hope to refer every reader of this review to Jamacha Point. For unrivaled service and superior facilities, Jamacha Point Self Storage stands alone. If I were permitted in this review to post a phone number, I would invite you to call me so that I could meet you at the facility and personally introduce you to the wonderful people whom I hold in high esteem at this business. read more

I had a 10x10 storage unit with Jamacha self storage for at least 4 years. I don't live near this area, but if I had to store something again I would store it there, I don't care how far I would have to drive. The units are well maintained, the pricing is fair and easy to handle over the phone or online, and the area is secure. They have hand trucks and moving trucks to borrow. I've recommended this place to folks who have tried other places and they liked this place better. I'm surprised they have so little reviews on yelp, so I had to add mine! read more

My family has used this place for yeeeeeeaaaaaaaars. This place knows how to retain business by offering great customer service and great rates. If you are looking for great storage and reasonable prices then look no further. The best part about this place is that it isn't cramped and offers enough space to move anything in and out without having to worry about others in your way. I never needed to move the car or truck so someone can move by... I never was bothered by filth or dirty facilties ( just spiders =/ )... and I have never had a negative interaction with staff over the course of about 8 years. Great business. read more

It was my first time getting a storage unit and Christina made me feel super welcomed. I definitely would recommend this place to friends!

I have been a tenant at this facility for the last couple of years The old staff was great very reliable very courteous always Willing to answer any questions that you might had . about a year ago they change staff and they got a new manager who is extremely rude and disrespectful and condescending No customer service skills whatsoever And there is heavy set African-American young lady Who manages to be even worse than the manger when it comes to her customer service she Refuses to acknowledge your present once you walk into the office ones she finely Greets you by asking you what do you want I'm busy her answer to every question you may ask her is she doesn't have the time to deal with you And when you asked to speak to a supervisor or manager she Argues with you telling you they're juts going to tell you the same thing I just told you I have been refused access to my storage unit or to the site several times by her and manager on multiple occasions in just the last couple of moths I've been in Denied access to my unite because Allegedly I am not on the contract even though I'm on the lease and I showed them proof of my ID I was still the denied access and told to come back with someone who was on the contract Once I showed up with the other person and we both show them our contract Proving that in fact . I was as On the contract and I should have access to my unit . .. As I was in the army when I open my account with Jamacha self storage and a travel a lot because of this fact is that I need a safe place to store my Belongings . I'm only in town for a short period of time .only a couple times year and I don't have time to be coming back-and-forth and arguing with staff about having access to my unite Sorry for the long rant and review I'm just a little fed up with the customer service And will be looking for other facilities to store my Belongings Ps . After showing proof that I was on the lease . I didn't even get a simple apology Or I'm sorry for the misunderstanding They were more just angry that they Were proven wrong read more

Amazing customer service establishing a storage unit. Searched several companies and this is certainly the best in the area.

They helped us find the storage we needed. We saw 2 units and both were easily accessible. Their prices were great and the person who helped us was able to find a discount that applied to the unit we were leasing. read more

Although boasting being rated one of the best local storage facilities, far better rates, terms, and available unit size options exist nearby. Even without any obvious (to me) "competitive advantage" (other than free candy in the office), this place seems pretty popular, so it might be worth checking their current availability and pricing. I did not find anything wrong, I just found several nearby storage facilities I thought better for people I was helping move. Since YOUR needs and preferences may differ, you might be happy here (anywhere else). read more
