Pike, the owner, was great helping plan the menu leading up to the event and had great communication. He consistently followed up and made sure all the details were set prior to the event. I usually find myself having to call people to confirm everything myself but I didn't need to do that, he texted the night before and the morning of to assure me all was ready. We had some issues accessing the park where we had the event, which my my fault, but he was very patient and helped us sort it all out. The food was great and a good price. It was nice that they accepted credit cards too. Everyone there really enjoyed the gourmet hotdogs and the street tacos! The tacos were only 75¢ each! I peeked inside the truck and everything looked really clean too. I would recommend the Lucky Dogs food truck for an event!

When we were notified that our meat had been dry aged, butchered, cut, wrapped and frozen and was ready to pick up, we drove out to Chino Valley to get it. We dealt with Casey, who was very accommodating and pleasant. She got our order quickly and gave us the cut sheet/invoice for the beef so we knew exactly what we were getting, which was just what we had ordered. Brought the meat home and most of it went right in the freezer. We saved out a package of New York strip steaks to try first - were pleased to find that they were wrapped well, first in a butchers square of waxed paper, then completely wrapped in plastic wrap, and lastly in waxed butchers paper. I feel like this will hold up well to being in the freezer. The meat was nicely cut. Next we opened a package of ground beef, which was put up in 1.5 pound packages. Found it to be about 20% fat, perfect! It was nicely ground and very tasty. We've eaten a couple more steaks and found them exactly to our specifications.
