Great place to stop on our way home after a few days in Montana! But we recommend asking about portion sizes when deciding what to eat. Very hip vibe, definitely a college town vibe. I had an amazing latte, but my son ordered hot chocolate and didn't care for it (it was a little too gourmet for his 12-yo palate (I thought it was good!) They had different types of fancy pancakes, which is normally my go to, and was happy they had an option where you could pick three, so that was perfect. However...a warning from our waitress would have been helpful. This was kind of obscene. The pancakes were gigantic!!! Like enough for two+ people, didn't even fit in one plate, gigantic. They were delicious, but so much was wasted because we were traveling, and pancakes don't make great leftovers. My son ordered crepes, and opposite my pancake experience, they were teeny tiny!! Really busy on a weekend, but wait goes quickly! Only about 10 minutes even though there were four parties ahead of us. Tried the Blueberry Ricotta Pancake, Mia Benedict, and Jam Crepe. The mia benedict was hands down the best dish. The crepe was good, but the jam was just overwhelming as it was really sweet and there was so much of it. The pancake was the biggest letdown; couldn't taste the buttermilk and it could've been a lot fluffier imo. Also kinda small. The blueberry syrup also tasted artificial, but the roasted hazelnuts were a nice touch. Service was a bit all over the place. They were super packed so the hecticness is understandable. Took a bit to get our orders in but food and check came quickly. Ambiance is great and the drinks and cocktails (didn't try any unfortunately) looked amazing. I ordered the red chili & corned beef hash and a half portion of the crab benedict (for some of the menu items, you can choose to order a half or full portion!) and loved both dishes! The hash comes with a side of fresh arugula salad and jam and toast. Beyond the food, the staff and overall ambiance of Jam! was great. The details that make Jam! unique are thoughtful and fun - from the huge mural on one side of the restaurant to the funky, towering glasses for your drinks. This place was a lovely surprise! The food was absolutely amazing! I got the crab Benedict and the stuffed French toast. The crab Benedict was purely sensational. The flavors of everything worked so well together and there was a little bit of a tangy taste, but it was the perfect amount. And as for the French toast, I was a little worried that it was going to be extremely sweet like other stuffed French toast I've had, however their combination of cream cheese and jam worked so well, and the bread that they used for the toast really brought it all together. An eclectic spot for breakfast with very good food. We arrived early and didn't have an issue getting a table (7:30). By the t8me we left there was a line waiting for a table. They make good use of the relatively small space they have. Parking on the street can be a bit of an issue,but wasn't to much trouble when we arrived. I had the loaded hash browns, which is similar to the skillet meals some restaurants serve. My wife had the traditional breakfast. We both paid the extra $ for the huckleberry jam. My only complaint is the artificial sweetener choices are saccharin or stevia. I prefer Splenda. I found their coffee a little on the strong side but smooth. It's got a hip vibe with really cool decor and the staff are super helpful and friendly. They have a great bar area which we sat at, meaning we got to eat quicker. I had a fabulous Bloody Mary which was made with Sake, different in a good way & my husband had a mimosa. The coffee selection is on point with many different varieties offered. It's really good. I don't typically like french toast because a lot of places that serve it, make it eggy tasting. Then you have to french it in syrup to mask the egg taste. NOT HERE. The order was the size of a large man's hand. It was stuffed with a mix of jam and cream cheese, then topped w thinly sliced almonds and sugar. When it arrived we wondered where the syrup was but after the first taste we quickly realized syrup was not needed. It was absolute perfection! Perfectly moist, sweet, and crunchy. The best texture and flavor of any french toast I've ever had in my entire life. My husband ordered heddar scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and toast. I ordered the pulled pork omelette w home friends and salad. The eggs were fluffy. The bacon was crisp and thick. Their toast is homemade and delicious with their jam. The home fries were a mix of regular potatoes and sweet potatoes, well seasoned. Some items on the menu are priced comparable to other breakfast places but others are on the pricey side. After viewing the menu of this place on Yelp, I made it a point to try it out while in Bozeman, and I'm so happy I did! The food here is amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel. The wait was about 20 minutes on a Wednesday around 10:30 AM. It's midweek and still had a wait, so you know this place was that good! I was immediately served water by the hostess and informed me of their QR code menu. Completely touchless and COVID-19 friendly! The server (Jesse?) came shortly thereafter and I ordered the pulled pork omelet ($12.50) with hashed browns instead of the home fried potatoes. It came with a side of potatoes, their country bread, and a arugula salad garnish. For another $2, one could opt for the huckleberry jam. I decided against it since $2 for a tablespoon of jam seemed a bit steep to me. I also ordered the banana fosters pancake ($7), and it comes with one pancake. The pulled pork omelet was delicious! It came with salsa verde stuffed inside the omelet. I requested no sour cream or cheese but it comes with that too. The hashed browns were nice and crispy. My pancake was super bomb. I didn't think it was overly sweet despite some reviews. The candied pecans were a great touch. I devoured that sucker so fast, and both dishes kept me satiated for hours. The service was exceptional, prompt, friendly, and intuitive, especially server. They were in top of their game! There seemed to be a lot of teamwork there. This is on the main street that it seems all the popular places are! I went for breakfast, around 10:30AM on a Wednesday - it wasn't packed, but it was pretty busy. I ordered the pulled pork omelette - it was thick and filled with the good stuff (and surprisingly pretty good, as I wasn't sure how the pulled pork would be in an omelette). I upgraded to gluten free bread - $3 - and the apple jam -- that jam though! No wonder how they got the name. Delicious!!! The home potatoes they serve also need no extra dressing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast burrito, I had the house potatoes with house made ketchup and they were Amazing. I don't know how they made potatoes taste that good but wow I can't wait to come back through and eat here again.
