What a great breakfast place. My daughter and her husband took me here as they have been before and swear by the place. It did not disappoint. Love the interior space and the waitstaff were very accommodating and pleasant. But the food, OMG, delicious and bountiful. Pancakes were light and fluffy, the eggs cook perfectly, hash browns crispy. The prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. If I lived here it would be a regular stop for me.
We had a great brunch at Jam! I had the blueberry pancake with lemon ricotta and my husband had ham and Swiss omelette. The jam? Peach rosemary! Amazing! Both were served quickly with a cheerful smile. The service was excellent. And the restaurant was open and airy. We loved it. We'd come back weekly if we lived in Bozeman.
This place is popular! Not sure if it's all locals or tourists or both, but they have a waitlist you can get on virtually, so that's what we did. That said the wait was 7-9 minutes, which was our estimated drive time. However, when we arrived there was a line out the door and a gentleman taking names. I told him we were on the waitlist, which he verified, then he bumped us up in the queue. We probably ended up waiting another 10 minutes before being seated. We weren't super hungry, but we wanted to have something prior to our travels. I went with the crab cake Benedict, half order, with hash browns. My oldest got regular pancakes with hash browns. My youngest got the cinnamon roll pancakes. The pancakes are really good size. Both my girls enjoyed them very much. My youngest devoured the cinnamon roll pancakes before I could get a photo. She let me try them and they were really good. The hash browns were excellent! Love it when a place cooks them perfectly--when they are nice and crispy! They serve them with ketchup upon request too. The crab cake Benedict was very decadent and delicious! Loved that it was also served with some arugula--love arugula! The place is quite large and they have some really cool seating options. The restrooms are located very close to the kitchen. It almost looks like you're going down a hallway you aren't supposed to. A couple of the servers saw my hesitation and told me if I go into the kitchen, I've gone too far! Noted! It's got a really nice vibe to it! We would definitely come back!
Cinnamon roll is hand made and pretty damn tasty. The omelets are filling. The bread is delicious (even without the jams which out of this world). It's an old fashioned blue collar diner serving top notch food for a fair price
The reviews were correct! The food was amazing (and prompt) the wait staff was super friendly and helpful, thank you Charlie! The music and atmosphere was lovely and great! The lattes and mimosas were amazing! I would highly recommend this for breakfast or brunch!
Not sure what the hype was w this place tbh BUT maybe I just ordered the wrong thing hahaha I asked the waitress to just choose between the loaded/stuffed hashbrowns or the breakfast burrito and she chose the burrito Tbf the breakfast burrito wasn't terrible--I still ate the entire thing. There was just nothing that stood out from it tho. I wish I could give half stars bc I do think it's more of a 3.5/5 given the service and prompt seating despite it being super busy
The food was incredible. I got the Benedict flight and I wouldn't recommend anything else. The breakfast Sammie and cinnamon roll were also a hit. It's tucked in the cutest square and it is a cute modern, upbeat vibe. The service was good and welcoming. We will visit again.
The bottom line: great breakfast/brunch fare, super service, and cool industrial vibe. Several recommendations and reviews led us here (to a big line outside) and it was worth it. Great eggs Benedict, tasty pancakes, and good coffee/tea. Would absolutely come here again if I was given the chance.
If you're looking for a brunch spot in Bozeman, this is your spot! I've been here twice and both times I was on a trip and was in the area. I loved my food here the first time so I had to come back again! Jam! has a great brunch selection, along with lunch menu items. The eggs benedict is beautifully presented and delicious! The servers are friendly and energetic, and the place is spacious and aesthetically appealing. I would come back again if I'm in Bozeman!
My friend and I had a blast here this morning. We both loved our pancakes, we had fun rocking to the great jams (pun intended) they had playing. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and the vibe was great. Gorgeous New Orleans/Jazz wall mural as well. I'll definitely be back. This place is popular with locals and tourists alike. We came in at 830am on a Friday and got right in using the waitlist online.
So good, we went twice during our visit! These might have been the best pancakes I've ever had! I actually was obsessed with their breakfast sausage patties also Their drinks were so good! We had mimosas one day and coffee the second. Their cortado was amazing! Def a MUST when visiting Bozeman!
In and out service with a great atmosphere. Attentive service and quality food. Fast reservation system and an interesting menu. All the basics. I ordered avocado toast, dish I get often and it had a great balance of ingredients. Reservation for sure at least 15 minutes ahead. It's a busy place for a reason.
In Bozeman for a few days and everyone in town recommends Jam for breakfast. JAM, a town staple and generally packed with hungry patrons. Several tables, elevated booths and an elaborate bar setup with a warm and very hustling staff. Hospitality is off-the-chart here and the Main St location is straight out of a cool mountain town set. We ordered the avocado toast and a simple plate of biscuits / sausage gravy. The avacado toast was stacked tall with guacamole, bacon, roasted grape tomatoes and an over easy egg. This was good but trying to eat it was a challenge due to size and ingredients. There was a small side green salad. The biscuit and sausage gravy was also stacked. You definitely get good value here as is evident with the families surrounding us. The gravy was almost overflowing the plate with a good uncious taste. The biscuit was dense, a bit dry and was just ok. The gravy was a home run. Jam is a great family breakfast option with the food almost over-flowing the plates. We ordered basic dishes from the appetizer menu and enjoyed them but not overwhelmed with taste. Even though I found it good, not great, I would encourage you to come here with a hearty appetite, and give them a try. NO ONE here is eating with a frown on their face and joint is jumping. JAM, I'll see you again on my next trip to a picturesque town on Bozeman, MT.

My friends and I landed in Bozeman and we were all very hungry. While searching for a brunch/lunch spot in Bozeman, we came across Jam! We were informed that on weekends, they serve breakfast only. We were totally fine with that, so we sat down to eat. LOADED HASH BROWNS I opted for the loaded hash browns. It has bacon bits and bits of jalapenos (in my opinion, not too spicy, but definitely adds a kick). Some of the hash brown bits were crunchy & some soft. The greens are argula, which are bitter. It added a lightness to this already heavy meal. And I was also glad that this dish had bread with jam because how can you go to Jam! without getting jam. As it states in the name, it was quite loaded and filling. So, I was satisfied. I went from being really hungry to full in one sitting. read more

When I returned to Bozeman following a trip to Yellowstone my host had left me a printed list of bars and restaurants in the area along with a recommendation for each. I kept staring at it as I thought about the breakfast I'd had at Jam! five days earlier. It was time for an executive decision: Return to Jam! Any active yelper knows the struggle of returning to a known place over being able to experience a new place. The decision to return to a place one has previously been comes at the expense of being able to sample and review another place. The struggle is real and it says a lot for my affection for everything about Jam! (except for that exclamation point). Priced not unlike any hot San Francisco brunch spot, Jam! is hip, attractive, and has a menu that wouldn't be out of place in SF. Is that arugula and pesto with my poached eggs and toast? Why yes. Is that fresh, squeezed orange juice? Yes again. And look at that Corned Beef Hash, would you? And that biscuit? It was all so delicious it merited a revisit on round two. I could go on and on but for what? I reported back to my host that I'd scrapped her list in favor of a repeat visit to Jam!. Her response? "That's exactly what I did. It's so good!" I'm certain there's other good breakfast spots in Bozeman but it's true that I might never find out. Jam! is that good. read more
I came here on a Sunday morning at around 10:45am and there were so many people waiting outside I thought there was a line just to put your name down. Fortunately I asked the greeter at the front and she was able to put me at the coffee bar which I gladly took because I didn't want to wait 30+ minutes. If the menu doesn't scream this already, there are tons of delicious-sounding options to choose from. I actually took a while to choose and when I asked the waitress what her favorite was she gave me three choices which didn't narrow it down much. I finally decided that I couldn't decide on just one so I ordered the loaded hash browns ($15) and the half basic benedict ($11) because when in doubt, get both right? The loaded hash browns were really good and crispy even though there's gravy on top. You can't go wrong with bacon and sausage and the gravy wasn't too salty. I was also surprised by the jalapeno nice which added a nice kick. For the benedict, I really liked the hollandaise sauce and I like that they give the option to only get one benedict instead of the typical two; it also helped because it would've been too much food. Because it was just a basic one there wasn't much else to it but that just tells me the ones with more stuff in it are also going to be good. Also, their strawberry jam was really good, which I should expect because that's literally their name. I would probably just do the loaded hash browns next time but that is a definite 5/5 by itself for me. The staff was super friendly, especially Thomas and Kierson (I think that's how you spell her name?) who I actually met the night before! Also, the food came out in five minutes which apparently is the norm here which tells me they have such a smooth operation going on here. read more

My 2nd or 3rd, Breakfast at Jam, These guys totally rock, food 5 star, staff same 5 stars, menu original, very very well prepared, portions just right. This time I had the Chicken Biscuit Benny, Fabulous ! Ivy my server at the coffee bar, same as last time was wonderful. She's a total keeper. I'd say if you are a Bozeman local and don't frequent Jam,, What the heck is wrong with you!! And if you're a visitor , this is a "Must Do" restaurant stop. I love Bozeman almost as much as Ketchum where I'm from. Need I say more?! read more

The service was fast and friendly. The food was for sure upscale/inventive. Everything tasted good. But okay, here's my qualm, my daughter ordered the kids crepes. It came out...it was just one crepe lol. My girl is skinny but she can eat. Nothing was mentioned you can order different amounts. I felt so bad for her lol. I laugh because, lesson learned right? Needless to say we shared our food and she left full. Word to the wise though, if your child likes to eat, just make sure you order more than one or! Get them a side. read more
Had the best chili verde pulled pork omelette at Jam today. Got a side of bacon and ice tea as well. Sat at the barber. Super nice and fun bartender served me. Great atmosphere and vibe. Only a 5 minute wait for a late lunch at 2:00 pm. Look forward to coming back in the short future. read more
This joint is jumpin'! Even though Yelp lists that they take reservations, they don't. But they do have a call-ahead list that helps you skip ahead in line once you arrive. At least I think that's how it works ~ turns out there wasn't a wait once we arrived so we just waltzed in and were led straight to a booth. Sweet! The offerings are extensive and nearly everything sounded so good! I really wanted to get both the breakfast board and the crab cakes Benedict, but just couldn't pull it off. Went for the half order of crab bene and it was deliché and just the right amount of food. Hubby went for the traditional brekkie with strawberry vanilla balsamic house jam and added a pancake with cinnamon butter and maple syrup. Whoa! That was a ton of grub. Really good, strong coffee. I spied a killer looking mimosa being poured at the bar (they have several options) so I put in a late order for one. After about 10 minutes, it hadn't come out so I cancelled the order since I was nearly done with my food. That was really the only misstep during our visit. Otherwise super friendly and incredibly fast service on a busy Saturday morning. Looking forward to many more visits to sample all the things on the menu ~ and get that mimosa! read more

This place had pros and cons - I wanted to love it but not everything was worthy. Let's talk about first impressions - the hostess: Whomever you put at the host stand should be friendly and welcoming. We got the opposite, slight attitude, no how are you nor goodbyes. Definitely would've given them 4 stars if this part of the experience was better. Maybe it's bc we aren't white? My bf is Spanish and I'm Asian.... Who knows. Food: Stuffed French toast - chefs kiss! Delicious. I opted for syrup on the side instead of the vanilla icing (I prefer less sweet). No sides included for $12. Coconut Banana pancake - good and light, but literally only 1 pancake, for $9. Sides: hash browns - more burnt than crispy, nothing special Breakfast patty - thin piece of meat that was just okay, also nothing special, not worth it. We usually order fresh juice and coffee but it was $7 for a small!!! Holy crap. This was more expensive than SF, the most expensive city in the US! So we just stuck with water. Out waitress was nice and attentive. The food came out pretty quick. I definitely didn't like that the long-bearded cooks didn't have beard nets on, kinda grossed me out. Lastly, half the workers dressed like they rolled out of bed and one waitress had on a jumper that showed her butt cheeks. Odd. read more
Hands down the best brunch/meal we had while in Bozeman! The key to minimizing wait time is to call about 45 mins before arrival to add your name to the list, arriving at reservation time and check in so they can tell you how long the remaining wait is (probably 10-15 mins). Even if you miss the time you wanted a reservation for, your name remains on the list until you arrive. For our party, we didn't end up dining in because we had a cat who was not allowed inside. Instead, we ordered take out and ate at a nearby table/bench. We ordered jam & toast (comes with cinnamony Apple compote and strawberry jam), jam crepe (this was kind of disappointing), blueberry ricotta pancake, breakfast burrito, pulled pork omelette and the beet & root hash. We ordered 2 matcha lattes with oat milk as drinks. Everything was delicious. If you're a beet lover, definitely get the hash! It comes with golden and red beets, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, and arugula with 2 poached eggs and a piece of toast on the side. I cleaned it and didn't feel gross after! read more
This place is super chill! The line was long (probably because it was a Friday at brunch time duh) but we got on the list and to our table in about 20 minutes so overall not bad! Our waiter was nice and really pleasant (sorry dude can't remember your name - red hair, beard)! We promptly noticed no liquor on the drink menu so I got an Irish coffee and we shared a Fun Bucket (appropriately named for do it yourself mimosas). Just gonna say it, GET THE CINNAMON ROLLS. They were by far my favorite thing I had! And they aren't really mini! we all shared them but 1 was still enough for me! I got the Blueberry Ricotta Pancake. Our waiter recommended just one since they were filling, and he was right. It was pretty good, but if you're not really into nuts, I would recommend it without the toasted hazelnuts on top and maybe a bit more syrup. If I return, I'd probably get something more savory. My friends had the Biscuit Sandwich and the Biscuits and Gravy. They both enjoyed them as well! Will definitely return if I come back to Bozeman! read more

What a find! Glad that we arrived famished because we had room for a breakfast appetizer of 3 mini cinnamon rolls. Holy cow- they were so delicious! They were sprinkled w toasted nuts & brown sugar glaze. Yum! I ordered the potato & beet hash w poached eggs and loved it! It was a great blend of savory w a touch of sweet from the beets. Even their toast was great! Our waitress was excellent and smart as a whip, memorizing our order, and helpful w questions. The ambiance, decor & music were fun on this busy Saturday. This place was so good!!! The Elvis crepe was my fav! So unique. Warning it is a bit small so get something with it. The mimosa and lattes were huge! My sister loved the breakfast board. I would definitely come back here and recommend this place to anyone! Tip: join the waitlist online because this place is popular and does not take reservations. read more

Variety of vegetarian options on the menu: 5/5 We loved Jam! Not from the area, but it definitely looked like a popular area. It took a while to get seated, but once we did the food was brought out pretty quickly. Huge variety of drink options, and the cinnamon roll portions were quite large. Main items were really tasty and loved the several brunch and pancake items. Not sure when we'll be back but highly recommend for anyone in Bozeman! read more

Great place to stop on our way home after a few days in Montana! But we recommend asking about portion sizes when deciding what to eat. Very hip vibe, definitely a college town vibe. I had an amazing latte, but my son ordered hot chocolate and didn't care for it (it was a little too gourmet for his 12-yo palate (I thought it was good!) They had different types of fancy pancakes, which is normally my go to, and was happy they had an option where you could pick three, so that was perfect. However...a warning from our waitress would have been helpful. This was kind of obscene. The pancakes were gigantic!!! Like enough for two+ people, didn't even fit in one plate, gigantic. They were delicious, but so much was wasted because we were traveling, and pancakes don't make great leftovers. My son ordered crepes, and opposite my pancake experience, they were teeny tiny!! Again, a heads up to order more since it was his entree. He did eat some of my pancakes. The food was delicious, and it was over all a good experience. read more

Stopped in here with family while in Bozeman for our daughter's MSU graduation. Service was 5 stars! Food was 4.5 stars! One drawback was that turkey sausage or turkey bacon was not on the menu. Eggs, toast, bacon, and huckleberry jam was amazing! read more
Really busy on a weekend, but wait goes quickly! Only about 10 minutes even though there were four parties ahead of us. Tried the Blueberry Ricotta Pancake, Mia Benedict, and Jam Crepe. The mia benedict was hands down the best dish. The crepe was good, but the jam was just overwhelming as it was really sweet and there was so much of it. The pancake was the biggest letdown; couldn't taste the buttermilk and it could've been a lot fluffier imo. Also kinda small. The blueberry syrup also tasted artificial, but the roasted hazelnuts were a nice touch. Service was a bit all over the place. They were super packed so the hecticness is understandable. Took a bit to get our orders in but food and check came quickly. Ambiance is great and the drinks and cocktails (didn't try any unfortunately) looked amazing. Definitely seems like a place both locals and visitors frequent heavily. read more

SO GOOD! I had the eggs Benedict flight with the Chicken and Biscuit, Crab Cake & the special which was a BBQ Benedict on cornbread. Service was fast, friendly and spot on. Be mindful of the extra charges you might not see on the menus. For example: each order was asked "a side of avocado with that?" Which yes who doesn't want the avocado until you realize each side of it is over $3, sweetener added to the coffees was $1, etc. Which all can add up - so be mindful! Either way, highly recommend & will be back for sure. read more

I popped in here based on the recommendations, and it's spot on. Great vibe. Yummy food. Fast service. I came alone, and they have a bar that turns over fairly quickly, so the wait was minimal. They do have long waits sometimes, so good to call in to get on the waitlist. My crepe was perfect! Savory, a bit of heat. All the other food looks great. I have a lemon ricotta pancake to go, so I'll find out about the sweet side later. read more

Both the food and staff at Jam! were amazing. I ordered the red chili & corned beef hash and a half portion of the crab benedict (for some of the menu items, you can choose to order a half or full portion!) and loved both dishes! The hash comes with a side of fresh arugula salad and jam and toast. Beyond the food, the staff and overall ambiance of Jam! was great. The details that make Jam! unique are thoughtful and fun - from the huge mural on one side of the restaurant to the funky, towering glasses for your drinks. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in BZN! read more
