Recently ate our evening meal there. I had the shrimp fajitas, which were very good. Decent-sized shrimp with very nice seasoning. The service was very friendly and quick. Enjoyed hearing the staff sing a birthday song to one of the customers. read more

We ate dinner here on mother's day. it was supper busy. they don't have much of a waiting area. unfortunately way to windy to sit outside. the wait was worth it though. I'm eating low carb. I got the Hawaiian fajitas, no shells, no beans and no rice. I asked for extra gauc. the fajitas were super tasty. the pico with the meat was excellent. the evening took a turn for the worst. I left my purse there. it's 2 hours away from home. I returned 2 days later. they had it and made me show an ID to get it. I appreciated that so much. Way better than the other place in town. At first there was no musica, then the most beautiful woman walked in the door and music began playing. She probably turned it on, I'm not sure. I like that they have a picture of Jesus on the wall where most places put brainwashing boxes. Now getting back to the food, the waitress was so amazing and had bright eyes. Sometimes I think the world spins from the power of incredible female laughter. Anyway, I had a few beers with limes in them but they screwed up my food order because I don't eat liquid queso cheeses. They fixed it super fast and made me a happy camper and I figured they'd just rinse it off but they made new stuff for me. As Sylvester Stallone would say I'll be back. read more

We were early to eat 5pm on a Sunday... only 1 other table full at this time. Service was good, drinks served promptly, then waitress left to go next door to dollar tree in order to fill children's order of chicken nuggets. Owner spoke Spanish to her making requests and handing over cash. Ordered second queso as appetizer but waitress was shopping next door so she wasn't able to bring more chips OR fill our margarita glasses that were now empty. Carne Asada was cooked well and tasted good - limited guac and salad on plate. Fajitas were ok, lots of onions and little protein offered imo. Owner seen in kitchen eating over the grill and once our plates were cleared I even saw the bus boy eating my daughters fries left on her plate. Dipping in her ketchup bowl etc. I do not know what the rules or regulations in kitchen eating are but we will not return. Noticed a male kitchen worker in Dollar General afterward and he too was buying food to fill orders, with his kitchen hairnet and all. Just not right. read more

Great cantarito cocktail on a Sunday afternoon . My family of 5 visited the restaurant in the middle of the afternoon this past Sunday. Tacos and burritos were rated high by kids and wife. Service was quick and friendly, we had chips and salsa immediately upon seating. The cantarito drink was kinda cool and not the typical super sweet margarita in most Mexican American restaurants. Would definitely go back and certainly worthy of a four star or higher rating. read more

This place is wonderful. Very authentic. Our go to first time Mexican place thing to order is tacos and cheese enchiladas. So hubs had cheese enchiladas--delicious. The cheese was perfect--didn't get all coagulated and greasy. Perfect. I had chicken tacos all carbon. Well spiced. Corn tortillas authentic. Chips good. Fresh. Not greasy. Salsa perfect. I came to Jalisco a couple times a year ago and it was just gross but I hear new owners took over so I decided to try it again. This is now my favorite restaurant. The food is bursting with flavor and I could drink the margaritas for days. The salsa is also fantastic. My favorite dish is the molcajete....it's a must try. After having left Rancho grande for stale chips and marginal salsa, coupled with lousy service and a liquor-less pitcher of margaritas, we went down the road to this place. Met the owner upon arrival, sat down quickly, had fresh margaritas (no pre-mixed crap like down the road), and very good (above average) Mexican food (there were 8 of us). Will return. First of all, the service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive; the owner or manager even came over to check in. I loved this so much more than the Oaxacan variety that is prevalent in Seattle. I got the chile relleno and taco combo. They let me do a pork taco, even though that isn't one of the menu options. The relleno was interesting-no cheese on the inside, and the egg was like a thin omelet on the chile. About halfway through I decided I had had enough egg and deconstructed it, which made me happy. Let me close with one of the best things about this place - perfect chips and salsa. read more

Great place! We were served water, chips & salsa soon after being seated. The margaritas were absolutely delicious and the food was amazing!
