Full bar with my Tito's Cocktail at $4, and my wife's bottle of beer just $3.50. Salad bar had lots of salads...shredded iceberg with lots of dressing options, including a solid Blue Cheese. They also had potato, macaroni, pea, pasta, and other salads. The hamburger steak and wedge potatoes were very good. The hash browns were great, and my sirloin steak was very good--I added a bit of salt, and it was cooked just as I ordered it. The hot bun was a nice touch. Nice bar and lots of table seating. Our server was great-anticipate needs and checked in often. Food came out fast and they appeared to have a very solid takeout business. Give them a try!!

Cliff's was a little of a drive for us, it was super easy to find located on a very nice Main Street. There was parking on both sides of the street. We walked in & were greeted immediately by the VERY FRIENDLY staff. It didn't take long for our server to attend to us. She was super friendly & very attentive! We haven't had such good service like this in a long time. She took our drink order & gave us a minute to decide. She made suggestions of what was good, noting that the tenderloin was an award winner in I believe 2023. So that's what my father & I had. He had a salad with this & I had onion rings. My brother had the hamburger steak & fries. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive, not too slow & not too fast, time enough for us to have most of our beers. The beer selection was limited and simple. They have a bar with alcohol. My brother had a Jim Beam & Coke. He said that it was mixed right, not too strong or too weak. The waitress zipped by our table frequently to chat & check on us while waiting for our food. That was really nice. The place was a little noisy, but not so bad we couldn't have a conversation. Our food came out hot & fresh. I definitely know why they won an award for their tenderloin. It was one of the best ones I've ever had & I'm looking forward to going back to have another one! The onion rings were outstanding too. I was very satisfied with my meal. Our bill came to around $66 before tip. We left a pretty good tip because our service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend a trip to Manning Iowa for this tenderloin. It was a great dining experience. Food was great, service was great & the restaurant was great(very clean & pleasant on the eyes)

We got there about 7 pm on Friday night and it was reasonably busy, though most people were already eating. There were several open tables, but only a few were clean, so we found one and sat. Things started off well enough--the server was friendly, told us about the specials, and brought us each a water right away. We ordered our food, and I had ordered mine without onion, as well as a salad. The order took a while--which again, Friday night, somewhat busy, so that's ok. When the food arrived, it was not good. My entree had tons of onion, and even though I removed them, it still tasted very onion-y, as something covered in grilled onions tends to be. It was also not hot, at all, and my fries were not hot as well. My mom had fish with hash browns, and her fish was somewhat warm, but hash browns were not. Not sure how long our food sat after being done, but obviously quite a while. My salad, which arrived at the same time as our meal, had no dressing, and we needed to flag down our server to get it, as she never stopped back at our table to check on us. I ended up not eating most of my entree and just eating the salad. We were very disappointed as we had been really looking forward to the meal, and I feel like if the food would have been prepared correctly--and served hot--it could have been great. Unfortunately, I don't think we will take the chance again.

Food is incredible. Definitely recommend their huge pork tenderloin. It was the size of my head.read more

I'm so glad we thought to order them AFTER our meals came, or I would've eaten the humongous pile as my meal. Delicious! Chicken Wings: they have "the good ranch" and the wings were really good. Dirty Bird: turkey and bacon sandwich, side of coleslaw. All was good. Personally, this sandwich would be awesome with stuffing on it, like a thanksgiving leftovers sammy! It felt slightly...lacking something, but my aunt liked it so that's all that matters. Rueben (forgot pic until half was gone): very good! Perfectly toasted marble rye, french fries piping hot and delicious. Once the fries and Rueben were delivered, that's when we realized we forgot to order the onion rings and ordered those as well. Sirloin & Baked Potato (forgot pic until halfway through my baked potato ): delicious! However, I'm a total sucker for baked potatoes, lots of butter and sour cream. Also, I was so enthralled with the onion rings, I really didn't touch the steak beyond tasting one bite. I did bring it home for my lunch today! So again...let's talk about these amazing onion rings! I love large, hand-battered onion rings, not a huge fan of shoestrings. These hit every mark in my book, and were 100% worth the 45min drive! ‍‍Service was excellent, highly recommend! Sometimes it's just nice to go for a little drive, which we appear to be doing more of lately! All for $75, plus $25 tip was an awesome meal for $100. Very affordable and top quality.
