When you drop off, they talk with you and it's not like the frumpy butcher that you wonder if your going to get your meat back. These people are amazing, organized and professional. I attached some photos to the Yelp page of the end product, all wraps are frozen so I didn't have to worry about transporting all the way to Phoenix in an ice chest in my truck. They offer an option to deliver to north Phoenix also, but I like the day trip to flag with my kids.

When we picked up the meat we got 585 lbs from one and 256 lbs from the other. They were both the same size and age and when I told the local large animal vet, who saw them 2 months prior to butchering, he could not believe it and joked did we drop off a calf. I asked them if they ever mix someone else's up with another's and he said no. When we got the organs there was only a heart and when we asked about the liver he just went into the freezer and came out with someone else's. They sell dog food, and we wondered where the meat comes from for it, now we know. The problem is how do you prove something went wrong. After spending the time and money raising them it is very discerning when you get ripped off. I was hesitant in using them to begin with due to word of mouth negative reviews but tried out of convenance, not again.

They had a good size produce department , still selling all lettuce that has been on the news with its issues . No signs about purchasing the ready made bags of lettuce just like nothing is going on. They had an entire department for Wines and liquor that was very nicely laid out as well. Prices here are much higher. After finding everything we needed we went to the cashier open. I asked her, are many people using those shopping carts that ring up all the groceries? She replied? The nice guy on the other end explained that the meat was in freezers, in the back of the saddle shop, which was next door to the print shop. My first suggestion for Lazy 5S: create a big sign saying something like, "LAZY 5S MEATS INSIDE!" - otherwise I would never have found it with GPS alone.
