Visited this location the other evening for dinner and overall enjoyed our meal. I'm from out of town and come from an area with a high Indian population and am absolutely spoiled with delicious authentic Indian food at home and I do have to admit this place isn't nearly as good as my local fare. We ordered the Aloo Gobi, a dish called "mushroom matter", basmati rice, "Indian style tea" which is just chai I don't know why they label it that way and a garlic naan. The aloo gobi was almost all cauliflower and lacked the brightness and salty sweetness I am used to, the mushroom dish also fell a bit flat although I've never seen this dish before so I have nothing to compare it to, the basmati rice was fairly short grained, not very fragrant and unspiced but the thing that got me was the crunchy toasted naan??! I was expecting your normal soft, pillowy, melt in your mouth steamy naan and I got what felt more like a crunchy pizza crust with no toppings, not that it was bad but it was wildly outside of what I was expecting and personally didn't like it, my daughter will eat any bread product and ate it instead. The service was incredibly nice, friendly, accommodating, and helpful, our food came quickly. I do wish they had some way of dealing with delivery drivers since they just loiter in the entry of the restaurant near the kitchen which happened to be right next to our booth and more than one large sweaty delivery driver was essentially leaning against my daughters side of the booth while waiting for pick up, kinda gross. They also need to replace their carpets and bench cushions but otherwise I loved the decor. Overall they need to step up their spice game, this is Indian food bring your A game and all other faults would be forgiven, except that crunchy naan. They also don't have Chana masala??!!? This is my go to and I've never seen this not offered at an Indian restaurant in my area. As a person spoiled by incredible Indian food this sadly doesn't hold up but it's good enough and better than other places we have tried in the area like Kathmandu II. read more

This is one of the BEST Indian restaurants in the country. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. The staff was so nice. Try the butter chicken and the pakoras - amazing! Wish I lived locally so could come back here again and again! read more

Jaipur Indian Restaurant - Indian Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

Bad. They cooked a tomato based curry in an aluminum pot, so the curry had a tinny taste. It was poison. Watery bland rice too read more

Went here for the lunch buffet and it was pretty good and definitely at a really great price. None of the food was spicy, but that's ok considering it's a buffet. The chicken tikka masala was great and I loved the sauce it was so creamy and had a nice tomato flavor. The chicken was kind of dry but fine. The rice was hard and dry but I really didn't mind it. The saag paneer was also good but didn't have much paneer in it. The potato vegetables thing was also good but nothing amazing. The naan was actually really great though and was brought out during our meal and was so so good. The location is super convenient near Pearl street and also had pretty solid food for a buffet and for the price. Wasn't too crowded and the restaurant was clean and also had clean bathrooms. Service was quick and nothing to complain about. read more

Inside is comfy with soothing music playing. Food pretty tasty. My favorites were the garlic naan and chicken bhuna so I recommend those. Samosas were ok I would've preferred non-ground lamb. Waiter was very kind and food came quick. I would return if I'm ever in Boulder again. read more

Wonderful curries! Always prepared the way I prefer (hot). The Nan is perfect. I recommend the vindaloo if you like it hot but the masala is also great. read more

The ambiance is incredible, the colorful decorations make it so cozy and the outside seating is nice as well. The food is amazing and warm and made fresh, for someone who dislikes spicy food, it is the perfect Indian place because they allow you to pick the spice level since the food is made fresh. All of our waiters are always nice and kind, one of our new favorite places in Boulder! read more

Delicious, the staff is so sweet. Literally the BEST food and it's open late. A rare find!

I just arrived after driving 3 days from Virginia, ordered food, and requested utensils 3 different areas and of course they give, ZERO UTENSILS like okay, food, am I supposed to drink it? Or how did you want me to eat my take out? Can't rate food if can't eat it, and didn't specify order came with rice so I ordered rice and now I have one order of chicken and Samosa with 4 sides of rice LOL, please order somewhere else if you're traveling unless you want to be let down read more

The service was good. The first sign should have been that only two tables were taken on a Friday late lunch (1:30pm). My wife ordered us some appetizers while I was dealing with the parking situation. We got the lamb somosas and the Tandori chicken wings. I added an order of Papa-dams which we enjoyed first with the mint and the tamarind chutneys. When the chicken wings came out, they were covered with onions and green peppers which was odd, but the real problem was that the wings were only luke warm and not crispy at all. They seemed warmed up and I am not sure if they ever saw a tandori oven from the inside. They also had hardly any flavor. The lamb samosas were hot and made fresh, but other than a strong lamb flavor with salt, they did not leave a lasting impression. While we were initially excited to try the tikka masala, after these two less than well executed dishes we decided to cash out and save our appetite for another restaurant. read more

I am surprised to find an authentic Indian restaurant in Boulder, and this is probably the best Indian food I have had. The restaurant owner explained in detail for the dishes on the menu, and I respect his efforts to maintain the authenticity of the food from the "purple city" and other parts of India. I will need to come back to this place soon. read more

Food is ok. Overall ok. Service and ambience is good Overall all the Indian restaurants are actually napalese run. Don't be fooled by the names. The food cooked is decent but not really authentic Indian. If you are trying first time or very new at Indian cuisine just remember this is just similar tasting and looking Indian food. You are not eating authentic Indian read more

This is in our top 5 places to eat in Boulder. The service alone makes it worth the visit. The food- wonderful and diverse, and truly feels authentic. You can feel the life time and effort in every bite. Thank you read more

I ordered this via a delivery service app. I'm disappointed that the service is hit or miss The food is good when it's good and when it's not, it's bad. the quality is hit or miss and I suspect it's due to whomever is in the kitchen on a particular day. The samosas were delicious and the okra dish was decent but could have been spicier. Attached are pics of the eggplant dish, I ordered. Picture of the side of rice, which is more than 2 days old & probably a health violation. I ordered the Kabli Naan- which is bread with raisins and almonds. Attached you will see they sent me naan bread with pink coconut. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. I am tired of the inconsistency and food is too expensive to deal with this issue. read more

The restaurants atmosphere is wonderful, the music, the decorations, it's just beautiful. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and very helpful. I would effectively come here again and recommend to anyone! read more

lentil soup - 7/10: good flavor but very watery - good portion for the price tandoori wings - 6/10. lukewarm, could have had a bit more flavor but the wings themselves were good - should have gotten spicier also gobi - 10/10: cauliflower was cooked perfectly. chicken tikka, perfectly tender and flavored. one of the better ones i've had - 9/10 biryani has lima beans. i'm allergic to them if anyone else happened to be too so don't order that if you are! we got the three items to share but it was a lot of food and we had leftovers! everything was gluten free except for my boyfriends naan which smelled amazing! read more

I was put off by the smoking employee on the sidewalk, but the food is excellent and professional.

This little place is a delight! The best thing about the food here is the the balance of it; it's spiced perfectly, so you can really taste the spices, meat and vegetables harmoniously. I loved the way I could taste the spinach in the saag paneer and the spice in the malai kofta. The meat in the goat curry was tender and flavorful. The other thing I loved was that the chai was unsweetened; so many places drown their tea in sugar, so you can't taste the spice, but this place lets you add sweetener only if you want it (I don't--I like mine without, so it was perfect!) The ambiance is a lot of fun and the service is great. We'll definitely be back! read more

Came here for lunch on the weekend. Super convenient location. Close enough to park and explore Pearl street and then walk over to the less crowded part where the restaurant is. Big proportions so you'll have enough to take home. read more

The inside decor is colorful and bold, filled with bright reds. Lots of lights hanging everywhere, gives it a nice touch. The table appeared clean from a distance, but once we sat down, I noticed they didn't replace our table cloth that was stained with sauces all over. My napkin wasn't clean either. Some of their silverware was pretty beat up. Pappadum: 3.8/5 Chicken pakoras: 5/5 delicious, this was a favorite among the table Chicken korma: 4.5/5 Garlic naan: 4.5/5 I prefer the bread to be thick, but a few others said it was perfect. Different tastes. It had a lot of garlic, but it was not strong, I could barely taste it. The service was great, they were all working as a team. They even gave us some free dessert on the house. Overall experience, 4.3/5 read more

So delicious. We were just walking around after the Boulder Creek Festival and saw that Jaipur was nearby, so we stopped in for a meal. Everything is reasonably priced, considering it's in Boulder. We ordered the following foods: tandoori wings appetizer (pretty good), lamb boti saag (pretty good), chicken biryani (delicious), roghan josh curry (mind-blowing), and chicken madras (mind-blowing). With some garlic naan and mango lassis, the whole meal was about $74 between 4 people, with food leftover for takeaway. Will absolutely be back. read more

Jaipur is my #1 recommendation to all my friends and family when they ask me what's good in Boulder. I first tried it after me and a friend walked by and were automatically drawn in. We went the next day and I take any excuse to take friends there. I always try something new when I'm there and I'm never disappointed! Best staff, best Indian food. Always fresh and hot when getting take out. I love their Mango Lassi

I was passing through Boulder on my way back from the Rocky mountains and was happy to find an Indian restaurant in the area. Outdoor and indoor seating was available but I chose to sit outside since it was nice out. I had the butter naans and paneer tikka masala (asked for it to be spicy) and it was super spicy and perfect! Prices were great, portions were perfect to share, and service was great. read more

Jaipur Indian Restaurant - Lunch Buffet - Indian Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. We got the buffet ($14.95 I believe). Food was mediocre, not many options. Only one dessert hidden away in salad station and that rice pudding didn't taste great either. The server was very blunt to my friend when she asked for naan. Ambiance is nice though. Can't speak for ala carte, but buffet food I won't recommend. read more

We ordered the Vegetable Pakora for an appetizer and the Chicken Korma as a dinner. Both were absolutely amazing! we also ordered 3 different Naans and they are also delicious and very authentic. This place never disappoints. Great in person and with takeout. My personal favorite casual Indian in Boulder

We ordered malai kofta, saag paneer, aloo naan and onion kulcha with chai. The service was great and the food was served to us promptly. Everything tasted really good and we liked it a lot. The quantity and the prices were good as well. The best thing was that the Chai has free refills. read more

Worst indian food I had in a while. Tasted like frozen vegetables in drain water mixed with expired old ingredients and way too much food color. We felt sick from tasting this food and had to throw it away. Eat here at your own risk. read more

Review coming from somebody who worked at an Indian restaurant This is by far the best Indian food I've had in Boulder. Sauce was medium-heavy with perfect level of spice, naan was fluffy and hot. Usually the chicken is what you should avoid at Indian Restaurants, but here it was tender and delicious. Quick service and beautiful decor. I'd recommend it to anyone read more

Please avoid this restaurant if you are looking for healthy, fresh food. We ordered lunch platter, the mix veg curry was almost going bad, they have just some left overs, the raita ordered was so sour, wondered how many days ago that youghurt was made. The samosas smelled like seafood, they must have made in the same oil they fry seafood or meat, so there is clearly cross-contamination. The waiter did not even replace the raita, just took it when we said it is not good, no apology, nothing. Had a severe tummy upset with that stale, one day old dry rice too. Please avoid if you want good Indian food. read more
