I have always experienced having juicy tender chicken and what was to be CHICKEN was hard pieces of tasteless I don't know what. I'll take a picture and maybe you will have an answer. The naan was to be teo kinds of cheese and there was just a melted blob on top of it, not on each piece . Also not edible for me. I spent $38.00 for one person and I never mind the expense as long as it's good. It was not acceptable and definitely would like my money back so I plan on making the call and taking this back so they can explain to me in person what these crazy cuts of supposed chicken was. I usually give a restaurant a second chance but at this point I'm turned off from India food.

The vindaloo had a great flavor and just the right amount of heat (I ordered mild), that I didn't need any hot sauce. What I really appreciated about the vindaloo was the peppers and onions they had in it. Really tasty and added a lot to the dish. As for the garlic naan, I thought that was flavorful as all heck and a nice compliment to the vindaloo. Don't pass this place up. This is one of the local restaurants I have gone to in the past with friends who adored it. The same is true of another local favorite. It is not them, it is me. Recently, at the Yelp Camp Colorado event, I spotted the mango lassi drink samples at one end of the food truck display and the food (bites) were at the other end. Since the table of cups was monitored but easy to grab, with no line like the food bites, I enjoyed a sample. Best flavor Mango lassi I had ever had. Wanting another such drink today, I looked online for that food truck and it was noted that they were associated with Taj Indian Cuisine here in Boulder and in a shopping center quite close to my house. So my husband and I took off to get some to have with some items at home, for lunch. The sign for the Food Truck Tuk Took Bites was still in their window but has some sections crossed off in marker. Not knowing the full story we went in to get our drinks. The place is still beautifully decorated, clean and with lunch diners already eating well before noon. We were approached immediately and made our order. I asked about the Tuk Took Bites connection and was told it had been cancelled 2 years ago. When he delivered our drinks they were darker than the ones at the event and asked if they both used the same recipe. He said no. We took them anyway and drank them, but though they were perfectly adequate, they were quite different. They were a deeper, sharper taste of Mango and I had preferred the lighter, sweeter version I had last weekend. You may prefer either one and I am hoping that Tuk Took Bites Truck will find themselves in Boulder again some time soon. Thanks to Taj for your drinks (well priced and fresh) today. I was driving back north wanting something to pick up something quick for lunch to avoid traffic when I remembered having seen this truck. I pulled in to the parking lot of the dispensary, and got quite a few odd looks (including the unsuspecting owner of the food truck) when I walked straight to the truck, circumventing the marijuana shop. They have a pretty full menu, much of which is handwritten below the typed items, which shows that they have had enough demand to expand - including the addition of the missing naan mentioned in the review below! While I wanted to get everything, I opted for the Chicken Saag (this time around) with a medium spice. In ten minutes, the bag was waiting for me and I dug in right there in the parking lot. This Chicken Saag was purrrrrrfect! Medium spice was a bit on the medium-high side, so I had just the right amount of sniffles and small beads of sweat on my forehead. The flavor jumped out of the carton and assaulted my tastebuds in the best way. The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender, and I immediately regretted not getting another dish or two to have leftovers for dinner. I've got to make the trek back south again next week (boo), but this truck (yay!) will definitely be the brightest part of my day as I start to navigate through the rest of the menu!
