Jag Mac - such excellence - I hardly know where to start...I've reviewed them before, but recently was again floored by the level of service they consistently deliver - even long distance! I've moved out of state and my car has been in storage. Before starting/driving it again after several months, I wanted to have it checked out by a mechanic. I called Russell (and since I couldn't convince him to fly up!) I asked him for a referral. I trust him implicitly and any new mechanic has to have his blessing! Not only did he find someone trustworthy, he also walked me through a battery change as well as several other things to check out. It wasn't a 30 second phone call that most shops would have done. I love this place. The service was amazing the pricing was amazing the people are amazing. I have a Jaguar that I was going to take to the dealership and was referred here by Jaguar. It's a 2013 so Jaguar stated they only want to work on new cars which I though was kinda ugly and if I wanted to get a new car it would be no problem but I love my car. Anyway referring me here was the best referral ever. Either way I'm a customer for life. We love Jagmac! Jagmac has been our family's go to for repairs for at least a decade! My dad started taking my mom's early 2000s model jag there many moons ago. When she got rid of it, we told my aunt about jagmac and she takes her jag there. My brother got sound advice on repairs and maintenance of his older model used jag. I drive a land rover and was having some issues. They not only fixed the issues, but also walked me through the problem and potential damage it could cause and how to avoid having similar issues in the future. And although I knew they'd be less than anyone else, I compared pricing for my rear brakes to be done and they were 30% cheaper than the other shops. First of all... Excellent job done! Wow! Very impressed! Now the whole story: Where to begin... My car was not working properly and we decided to take it to another place that was recommended to us by acquaintances. They took over 3 weeks of "repairs" that didn't repair anything at all. (Never mind the $$$) In fact we got it back worse than we left it. Tired of the nonsense, my husband found JagMac online and loved it. We took it on a Wednesday morning and the car was ready same day... COMPLETELY FIXED! Working perfectly. What a great job they did. I'm still amazed of the quality of this guys! I acquired a 1995 Jaguar XJS Convertible last year and drove it to Dallas. I thought I had front end issues and was quoted over $2000 to have it fixed by a reputable car shop that I used for my other cars. Somehow I found Jag Mac and brought it to them. The front end issue was just a very bad alignment and they fixed it saving me over $2000. Since then I brought it back to them with an oil leak expecting a large bill and again it was just something simple they fixed along with an AC issue and oil change. $550 for everything! Jag Mac is a family business that does honest work at a reasonable price and if you have a Jag I would not bring it to anyone else! Very nice, down-to-earth, honest guys who will do an honest job for you in a very friendly, casual environment. Russell et al replaced my air filter, gave me some good advice about the compressor, and then ordered some Jag-specific wiper blades when I showed them the pathetic replacements I found at Walmart. Very reasonable prices for everything (believe me, I have a good bullsh*t radar for these sorts of things) and they even went as far to replace the windshield wiper arm--at no cost!--when it became clear that the one on my just-purchased used 2005 S-Type was bent out of place a bit. I thought these guys were out of business...just saw that they were still hitting unsuspecting Jag owners. Several years ago these two delivered the WORST jaguar repair experience I have ever had. I'm on my fourth Jaguar...XJR, XJR, XKRS, F-Type, and I wouldn't think of ever bringing my car back to this place. They may know about Jaguars, but they have no customer service sense. They kept my car for almost two weeks, working on it in between jobs and always promising to "get to it." When I finally demanded that they get my new drive chain tensioners installed since I was paying for a rental while they held my car hostage, they took two days and got the job done. Three weeks to replace the drive chains and tensioners. And when I finally came to pay and pick up my car, "Dad" was out of town and the son was too worried to release it...so I had to wait over the weekend to get my car. All I'm saying is beware: "you pays your money and you takes your chances." read more

Excellent service minus the 'fluff!' Once a fatihful follower of going to the dealer, JagMac came recommended actually by another Jaguar repair shop! Upon my arrival, I was a bit pressed for time and based on what the Jaguar dealer stated - JagMac responded with half the proposed time.
