AES has agreed to resolve my issue and me a refund. I don't know if the issues I have were a…read moremisunderstanding or something else. The original review is below. The trailer plug on my van stopped working. I took the vehicle in and they did a $180 diagnostic, over the phone they said the repair would be $1700 repair. My response was, I want a report or something in writing stating what was wrong and I was going to pick up the vehicle and take it to the dealer. When I picked up the van, I again asked for the report/ or writing details of what was wrong. In writing, they said they "suspected damage to the trailer wiring harness or the trailer connector" I asked if they tested the trailer connections at the plug, and they said they could not because the trailer module will not provide power unless it's plugged into a trailer and they don't have the correct tool. ( they wanted me to bring the trailer to them) I tested the trailer plug with a meter when I got it back home ( the trailer connector was loose) The two individuals I spoke with were Jeff and Terry the technician. I would never bring my vehicle back here, I would not recommend or trust this business. ( Just so you know, I used to work on cars, and I have always hated working on my own, I could have fixed this originally but I really just wanted to find a place to be honest with me and treat me fairly... that's not this place)

I took my car in for repair and understood the $180.00 per hour diagnostic fee. After having my car…read morefor a couple of days they said they needed two more hours time to diagnose the issue. I authorized the additional two hours and had no request for more time. When I got the bill they had charged me for five and a half more hours at $180.00 without authorization! Don't take your car here.

I'll eventually redo the entire steering/suspension, where I'll reinstall the drivers side u bolts evenly like they are on the passenger side, but this was great here, being helped last second like this. Yet what I really appreciate most is authentic business, where my ass is not being kissed, I'm not receiving fake smiles and no one's pretending to be excited when they're not. I really liked this guys attitude. Don't know if he's the owner or what. I personally don't trust anyone who's smiling really big like they're truly happy to see me walk into their repair shop hauling in leaf spring packs on a Friday, and never having met me before. I wish more business owners and employees would be authentic people, and just say it how it is, be who they are, be in whatever mood they're in and don't front. Sadly that's not what naive consumers want- the ones who know nothing about how to fix their own cars while also running a shop. (Most everyone I assume). People complain all the time about real attitudes, but if they want fake ones, they should expect fake business. Which is what 99.9% of what we gets in shops... I'm paying these sweet smiling faces thousands to break my autos. It happens every time- I travel a lot. I go back to say the repair went poorly, and they smile really big, saying it did not. That everything is great or something else is wrong. Then I go home pissed as hell at myself for even going back, because if it's bad the first time, it's only getting worse if you go back. (Never go back). I then dust off and drag out my floor Jack and stands with my crippled disabled ass body that can barely turn a wrench most days, And I get to pull off all the mountains of parts they broke and yank out $350 new Delphi fuel pumps they put in, to find it's full of mud as I'd suspected, and never would have known unless I could remove my entire fuel tank out on the side of the not-level-street to pull it out myself to confirm my suspicions. Then I get to see the frame damage from them over tightening things, missing the bullseye with their hammers and wacking huge dents into my now altered rusting frame. I get to see my $100 fuel filler hose was cut down the side- and too far down, as well- because they removed it the fast lazy way. (Because I'll never see it... yeah). I get to go buy all new parts myself, and then I get to reinstall them myself, using my real torque wrench with my real torque specs and real brain, and I get to think about how all these fancy shops with free cold water bottles and new leather sofas and their smiling faces gaining 5 stars on Yelp! are so good at being fake and getting away with it, because they know the game and they know that you don't know shit. How you don't know that they strategize dishonest ways to get Yelp! to take my honest reviews down. I don't want fake repair work done on my truck anymore, so seriously thanks for being one of those rare authentic humans, and who's behind the counter while under the car too. End review rant. Excited to finally find a real authentic human in an auto repair shop. For real, thank you.
