I want to share how grateful I am for the honesty and professionalism I received from Hunter and…read morethe team at Ultimate Car Care. They helped me through a very stressful situation involving a serious service mistake made at another shop. My vehicle had been returned to me with no transmission fluid and five quarts of oil poured in on top of the existing oil. I brought the car to Ultimate Car Care for diagnostics, and Hunter did a thorough, careful evaluation. What stood out most was Hunter's integrity. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation or exaggerated the damage, but he didn't. He was completely honest and straightforward, and he explained everything clearly. The Kwik Kar district manager even thanked Hunter personally for being truthful about the car not being damaged. That says a lot about the kind of shop this is. Ultimate Car Care has also done excellent work for me recently -- they replaced the spark plugs and coils on my Forester, and the car has been running perfectly ever since. Their communication, workmanship, and customer service have all been outstanding. I highly recommend Hunter and Ultimate Car Care. They are kind, professional, and trustworthy, and they've earned my confidence and my business.

My original experience involved an oil leak following service, and a second repair facility documented an overtightened drain plug, incorrect washer installation, and resulting oil pan damage. The process of resolving the matter was lengthy and required considerable follow-up on my part. However, after the documentation was reviewed by management, they accepted responsibility, apologized, and reimbursed the repair costs in full. I am updating this review to reflect their efforts to ultimately resolve the matter.

Approximately two weeks later, he heard a clicking sound and immediately drove it to his auto repair shop. The vehicle had run dry--it had no oil in it whatsoever. So, when they drained out the old oil, they failed to put in new oil. This resulted in a completely new engine having to be put in the vehicle. This is a fairly new vehicle, so it didn't pay to just have it totaled. This most definitely was the most expensive non-oil change ever, at a $7,000 expense for a new engine. You shouldn't have to check the oil when you leave but I would highly recommend it.
