It's really more like soft swirled bread than an actual croissant, so adjust expectations accordingly. They also have a raspberry-filled croissant if you like filled breads. I asked if the bar top was fine and sat there. I opened my laptop to sign into work. I had a menu next to me. No later than a few minutes passes by and a woman, I assume the owner, comes out to inform me that this is a business for eating not working. Her tone was stern and rude. I hadn't even gotten a chance to decide what to order. I closed my laptop, put it in my bag and left. It was almost like they didn't think I'd be spending money with them from the moment I walked inside. Meanwhile they had ONE customer. You'd think they'd want my business. The energy towards me felt so bad I would never return.

I got a cardamom bun, I believe a Tunisian egg salad sandwich, a ginger snap cookie, and an iced oat Matcha. Left the bakery to have a taste to my morning haul. This cardamom bun was SEXY- literally the best I've ever tasted in my life... Genuinely glad to be alive today to experience that bun so balanced- sweet and savory, hardy, yet fluffy all in one. The egg salad sandwich was also excellent and super filling - such great contrast and flavoring from the crisped bread to the egg salad itself. Ginger snap cookie was freaking delicious and so soft. And the iced matcha was very interesting and had this unique tangy flavor, but I actually enjoyed with simple syrup, which I think balanced out the tang.
