I honestly had low expectations for this spot because it's right off the beach, and usually shaved ice/snow close to the beach tend to be average at best. I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good. I don't it unique that they use a dairy base for their shaved snow versus water base. This could be good or bad depending on whether you like e taste of milk. I thought it was great, especially since I got fruity toppings of strawberries, blueberries, and mango. You can definitely get non fruit toppings if you want. Finally you finish off with a drizzle. I chose the tried and try condensed milk. Solid, I would definitely come back if I'm the area. Parking is absolute trash though! read more

Riding a bike all the way to the end of Magala Beach was fun! And to have found this small Boba place to gain the calories I just burnt was all worth it. Got their Snow dessert with blueberries, strawberries, and mangoes, drizzled with condense milk. Chowed it down in less than 3 minutes. read more

I continue to get my iced coffee here. they have delicious coffee. One of the guys and one of the girls is super cool and always greet me with a hello I really like that. But the older gentleman is not very cool at all. Looks at me like I am a bum. I am a surf bum but have loads of money and always treat people with respect no matter what they look like. Just cool like that. Anyways I like this place and would recommend the ice coffee and a conversation with the kind owners. One of them is really beautiful. Thanks read more

Boba was so overpriced.. I came when it was crowded with my husband and child and ordered a boba and açaí bowl with two bases. boba was hard as a rock and stuck together. They handed me my boba as soon as I ordered and paid which was nice. no chairs inside to relax in, feels very to go. açaí was not blended in store but frozen, unlike other açaí places I've been to. toppings on açaí were good, fresh and not skimpy, but I was not notified that an açaí bowl with two bases would be an additional charge. they stated that I could get two bases on it but trickily did not tell me the extra charge, which I appreciate from a business standpoint but not as a paying customer. atmosphere felt rushed and the back was run by teenagers who were speed running the drinks. very very overpriced for what is is, tea flavor itself is fine but you can definitely get better for the price. clean store but would not come again for quality boba. price reflects pier location but not the quality of the food. I used to barista in college and can see poor quality. would not come back. I can't speak for their other desserts however. read more

Got a Super Bowl, smoothie, and Jade snow with the family and all were very delicious! Only fresh fruit was used for the smoothie, Super Bowl and the toppings for the Jade snow which was excellent and very yummy. The customer service was also very great, the cashier was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're ever at the Redondo Beach Pier! read more

If you're looking for something to help cool you down in time for the hot weather at the beach, then definitely check this place out! There's options for you to make your own shaved snow but there's also "premade" options for you. We got the mango milk snow, which was really refreshing! The shaved snow texture is almost like fallen pieces of snow (it's owned by a Korean lady) which is known as "pat-bing" in Korean. It's different from shaved snow from Taiwanese places, as their appearance is more ribbon-like. But nonetheless, the dessert was refreshing, although I wish there was more condensed milk and mangoes to top it off. Cash only. It can be a bit expensive, but then again you're at the beach. I love to support local businesses and this little shop is right on the Redondo Beach pier. It's got a lot of options and everything looks fantastic. I ordered a lychee boba large which was $8... very high price tag for what I got. Maybe I just didn't order right but I was not a fan. I will try again one day but for now I didn't see it worth the price tag. read more

Always friendly and delicious, Jade Snow is our favorite place to take out of town visitors. Milk snow is delicious and doesn't feel like too much of an indulgence. They even have healthy breakfast options. Grab your food and sit outside to watch the waves, then walk a few steps to stick your toes in the sand. read more

This place is incredible, the customer service is always a 10/10! The Green Day smoothie is great, but they have a wide variety of different drinks to choose from depending on what you feel like. I like this place so much that I come here on an almost daily basis during my run down the strand. Best smoothie/boba/coffee shop in the area! read more

Super cute little ice cream shop on the pier Ice cream here is pretty good not overly sweet It's like perfect My fav was the pistachio, was so perfect and not overly sweet I love this flavor The free tea was ok tasted very fake though The coconut was very sweet And the butter pecan Was super good as well - Great Service, they were super friendly here $3.50 a single scoop of ice cream read more

I go to jade snow frequently during my lunch breaks because I work close by. I always get their acai bowls and I enjoy it every time. It's the perfect mix of fruit, acai, and granola for a good price. Service is always very nice and quick. Would recommend getting a bite here while hanging out by the pier. read more

Had a strawberry and banana milk Snow with condensed milk on top ! They give you the option to put 3 toppings and 1 choice of a drizzle. 3 toppings is a great amount !! Very good and lots of flavor. My bananas were perfect and so were the strawberries! The employees were friendly. Cute place. The price was fair especially being that they use fresh toppings ! I seen a few complaints on how pricey it is , but what do you expect !? It's on a pier in CALIFORNIA ! Every thing is always more expensive. I really didn't mind spending $8 on my regular sized milk snow. It was worth it. I will definitely go back !! read more

A group of friends wanted some dessert after hitting the beach. This place was near by and had great reviews. They have a variety of menu items which was awesome! We ordered two taro smoothies with boba, one Thai milk tea with boba, and a smoothie. The boba was lackluster, no flavor just really there for texture. Thai tea was lacking that flavor, tasted more like water with milk. My friends said the taro smoothie was the perfect sweetness, but agreed that the boba was tasteless. My other friend enjoyed her smoothie. Also, when I went to pick up my order, I told the manager I had ordered a large, not a medium, but was not very polite with his response. Overall, it was a underwhelming. I don't think I will be coming back. read more

It's a boba shop at the Redondo Pier. Location can't be beat. It does the job if you're looking for your boba fix. However, I wish the drink had more flavor. I ordered the mint chocolate chip and there was something missing in the drink. Maybe sugar? It was rather bland and the boba wasn't chewy. If I'm at the pier again and craving for boba, I will probably stop by but won't go out of my way for it if I'm farther. read more

Great spot for a snack at the beach. We got the shaved milk snow with condensed milk drizzle and strawberry, blueberry, and mango on top. (You can include up to 3 toppings.) The small size was about $8 when we went, and more than enough for both of us. It was sweet, but not overly sweet, and the fruit seemed fresh. Jade Snow is a small business that serves cold, summery Asian/Hawaiian sugary treats. If I was in the area I would definitely drop by! Food: Cheap and refreshing! You can buy snow cones (water with syrup), milk based shaved snow, tropical drinks, and several other desserts. Service: Quick and friendly. Ambiance: A "hole-in-the-wall" by the beach front with limited seating. The venue isn't that great, but who cares! Seems more like a place one drops-in to get a refreshing dessert and then immediately heads to the beach. Minimal but delicious I've been coming here for 3 years. Jade snow is my favorite ice cream. Any other place is GARBAGE to me. Yesterday, I decided to get the usual which is Jade snow in a small cup with mangos, strawberries, and bananas with condensed milk on top. When I received my order, my ice cream wasn't even filled up to the top /: it was a little bellow half the cup, furthermore they changed their sizes not sure if it was due to covid but $8 was a bit expensive for the amount since I barely got any ice cream/shaved ice. read more

I like the variety, I loved the location. The snow did not last long enough for the kodak moment but, condensed milk, shaved ice, and a cool summer's eve was a great recipe. Tried something a little different than the norm. Some jade snow, sliced almonds, condensed milk sprinkled with fruity pebbles. It was refreshing. Wanted to go ahead and chase it down with a bit of boba but, that might've been going over board. Definitely makes it a trip worth looking forward to next time around. read more

If you're in town and by the beach you should definitely check this place out! The owner so friendly and was explaining the options for pat-bing-su. Everything was so amazing and it's such a nice spot to stop by after a long day at the beach. They have bubble tea, coffee, and other snacks but the pat-bing-su is a must!!! read more

My sisters and I stopped by in order to grab a refreshing drink after a day sunbathing on the beach. We ordered a watermelon boba, but unfortunately it had a strong artificial taste (made with powdered flavoring). However, the server graciously allowed my sister to exchange it for a fresh mango tea with boba, which wad absolutely refreshing and delicious. My nephew wouldn't stop chugging the drink! My husband and I were just walking the pier and saw this little shop. He got a mocha latte, I got a milk tea boba and Chili mango. My husband said his matcha latte tasted awful and my milk tea boba has no flavor and over pricey. The chili mango was blah! I'm sure they are known for their milk snow, snow flakes and ice cream, but definitely not for their coffee and milk tea boba. The staffs were very nice and gives excellent service. read more

This place has solid smoothies! I have to admit I go there for the fresh fruit only smoothies almost every RB beach trip because they're that good. I like that they only have fruit and ice - no other crazy things (sweetener sugars etc.) I've heard their açaí bowels are good too I'll try it next. But highly recommend stopping by soon. read more

I love this place! I recently discovered the snow and it's so delicious! I get the jade snow with the boba, strawberry and mango toppings and condensed milk drizzled on top. The consistency is like shaved ice and it's unlike anything I've ever had before. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet treat at the beach! Staff are very friendly. There was a line but it went by fast. Parking on the weekend is hard to find, at least in my experience. During the week, it's much easier to find parking, especially if you go in the morning.

My husband commented the latte tastes like the girls attitude that made it.... Just BAD. We came in 45 minutes before closing but she was super irritated, had all the pastries cleaned up and seemed annoyed any additional patrons came in. Pretty sad I spent $15 on 2 coffees and neither of us drank them.

It's located in a strip mall on PCH near the Dodgers mural. There was a pretty steady flow of traffic but the line moves quickly. You can look at all their pastries and tarts on display while you wait. There isn't much of an interior to sit. I tried the green apple tart, fruit tart, cream puff, and white chocolate strawberry cake. Everything was delicious, and surprisingly awesome for being totally gluten free. My favorites are the tarts, with the crust being the standout. The cake was extremely light as if eating a cloud. I will definitely be coming back. There's so much more on the menu to try out, including drinks and breakfast sandwiches, there's no doubt I will be getting another dessert to go along with it.
