Honestly so disappointed lol.. I thought by reading reviews from others that I wouldn't be a wasting my money, WRONG. Ordered a simple veggie fried rice and general tso's chicken and both were horrible. Rice had no taste of any seasoning but oil and the chicken was soggy, sauce taste like it's from the bottle, super watered down also states it's "spicy" on the menu & there is no spice at all. Couldn't even "DR" it up at home and spent $42 Don't make the same mistake I did, don't waste your money here.

At first glance, this place looks sketchy on both the exterior and interior. They have just a few seats inside and are probably mainly a takeout restaurant. However, the service was actually quite friendly and the food was a solid 7/10 for late night chinese food. It wasn't cheap but the orange chicken and the eggplant were cooked fresh and hit the spot.

Couldn't believe we found somewhere to eat after midnight (after a long day of traveling). Such a special place. Felt like we stepped into a movie. Everything was right. a MUST GO! We had zero regrets ordering everything that sounded good. Sat at the bar so we met everyone who came through. The service and ambience were everything you hope for. The next day, our cold leftovers were Pretty fantastic on the way to the festival.

I ordered General Tsos Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup and Pot Stickers. All delicious!

Delicious!! Ordered through Grub Hub as the reviews there are good. My food arrived fast and a very courteous driver who took great care of my order, it was steaming hot !! I ordered General Tsos Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup and Pot Stickers. All delicious! The Hot and Sour was really tasty and had so many vegis and Tofu pieces I almost got full with a cup, I just want more though it was so delicious and instantly took away a bit of a hangover from last night.. The General Tsos was really flavorful.. I wish restaurants would cook a little more crunchy but this was less bready then other Generals Tso I have had lately.. The chilies in the sauce was extremely tasty.. I ordered Hot and it was just a spicy but not too spicy sauce full of bits of chili. The sweetness of the sauce took away the spicy a bit...I ordered a small rice that was $2 as well. Lastly the Pot Stickers were really doughy, but reading other reviews they should be. The pork mixture inside was so good and it came with a little container of yummy Gyoza sauce.. wish I got two. These Pot Stickers are huge! They are going to be great for leftovers. Can't believe I have driven by this place so many times through the years, and it's not in a good location I always wondered how the food really was. Due to the Pandemic it's causing us to try new places and so glad I did, this is my new go-to for awesome delicious flavorful Chinese food!

Had some issues ordering with a platform, and they were so kind to help fix things. Sesame chicken was outrageously good.

What made the…read moremost sense to me was to head to Seattle, spend time with Dillon's Aunt, and see more of Seattle than I have in the years past. Dillon found this restaurant and we headed here a couple of days after my birthday. It turned out to be the best decision, it was less crowded, away from graduation dinners and celebrations, and though the day was a bit overcast, being near the water, we got to see a club? of stand up paddle boarders and kayakers do their routes in the bay! It's easy to say since we don't live there, but there is beauty in the cloudiness of the sky juxtaposed against the water. We went back and forth with the entrees but ultimately decided on an order of their shigoku oysters they had on special and we each got the Copper river salmon here. We loved it so much the first time we tried it that we had to try Ray's version of it and we were thankful we did!! The oysters were tasty and had a lovely unique flavor and the copper river salmon was cooked perfectly on a bed oof potatoes. The bread plate, though crispy, which we loved, was perfect for dipping and scooping up the remaining sauce and oils. Since it was my birthday there was a nice card left on the table which was a nice sweet touch that started the evening off on a personal touch. The dinner ended with our kind and chipper waiter bringing out a chocolate cheesecake and singing "Happy Birthday," it was fun and so nice! It was truly a wonderful birthday experience and I'm ever thankful Dillon made it so special. The chocolate cheesecake was divine, it had fresh raspberries and a house made raspberry sauce I believe and the cheesecake itself was fluffy and light and probably one of the best chocolate cheesecakes I've ever had. Another cool thing about this restaurant, we got to see an eagle's nest from where we were sitting looking up on a cliff in the trees!! Ray's gave us a fantastic dinner, a wonderful birthday celebration, and cherished moments we will always have now.

For mains, we ordered the ribeye and the grilled sablefish. The sablefish was delicious and a nice change from more standard fish dishes I've had before. The puree it came with was good, but the dish, I thought could've been served warmer. The ribeye had a weak sear and chewy, unrendered fat making it tough and difficult to slice, and the cut itself was uneven with one end thicker than the other. The sauce ended up being overpowering rather than enhancing the dish. On a positive note, the service was thoughtful, and the view is absolutely stunning. In the end, I'd come back for the ambiance and maybe another seafood dish, but skip the steak next time.

It gives you that nostalgic vibe you feel when you know your grandparents came here to eat, sat by the window, and talked story for an hour or two with their friends and family. I've gotta be real, I love those feelings and these types of restaurants. The restaurants that endure trendy decor and overly fancy presentations. I admit, there's a time and place fort those and I'll visit them to check them out, but know, that I will always have a soft spot for restaurants that stand the test of time. We were lucky enough to get a seat by the pier with a little bit of a wait, but not enough to ruin our dinner. The menu is simple but had quite of bit of options to please any taste bud. We ordered a couple of oysters to try and the BBQ prawns to start. The oysters had just enough tang to go along with the richness of the meat. Our waiter was peppy and thorough, explaining to us about the coveted copper river salmon that's only around for a few weeks in the summer. I definitely wanted to try that and have a go at their clam chowder. My boyfriend and I ended up sharing the entree of the copper river salmon as well as an order of the bbq prawns and a cup of the clam chowder. Aunt carol also got the prawns and the Hearts of Romain salad with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing. For our first meal in Seattle, and my first time at Chinook's, I'd say this restaurant hit it out of the ball park! The copper river salmon was fresh and felt as though it was a burst of flavor unlike any salmon I've had before. It was less buttery and more vibrant and I loved every bite. We each loved our meals and were happy we stopped here our first night. We were hoping to come back for lunch before we headed out, but alas, trips always end up too short in the end. I know we will be back the next time we're in Seattle. Window seat and all!
