The girl who did my nails was nice but I honestly hate them. I told her I wanted coffin shaped literally like 20 times and they're still not. I felt bad after telling her so many times that I just stopped. Also the color has a texture to it, like cement, and I asked before she started if it was going to be like that and she assured me it wasn't. My nails are also bubbly and uneven and just awful. She recommended next gen but that was a clearly a mistake. I've never been this disappointed with my nails before Update !! Thank you so much for fixing my nails Jade! they look so good now
Listen, I really enjoy this salon. But I got to leave this "not so nice" review simply for this reason. I come in to get my eye brows and lip waxed. Overall, the wax lady was very nice but she burned me. People make mistakes but I dont pay money to get burned I'll just do it at home! But this nail salon is the spot for nails! Sorry Jade. - 3 stars - Jade fixes everything. 5 stars
Love jade nail spa! My go to is jade the owner! She's been microblading my brows for 2-3 years now! She has done my lashes before to! So beautiful! Jade is the best at doing nails she really is creative with creating her own mix of dip powder to satisfy your every need and want! Anybody can thread at the salon but i prefer jade! Roy is also is new member to the shop for a while now, he is also very good at nails for designs and give great ideas for nail designs. He's very quick and professional!
I really wanted to like this place because of all the wonderful reviews. I went 30 minutes out of my way because of the reviews and they had Nexgen. However, I would not recommend this place. The staff are super nice, but getting cuts is not. My mother got a mani/pedi and the lady that she had ended up cutting her big toe (as we all know getting a cut here is really painful and takes awhile to heal). They were nice enough to give her a $5 discount, but honestly if the service is bad it should have been complimentary. She didn't get color or anything, just wanted to get her feet cleaned. She had told the lady the first time when it hurt, but I guess the lady ignored it and continued to pick at that spot which caused her to bleed. (FYI, it's the next day and it still hurts her to walk on that feet). I went in and got a manicure using Nexgen. The lady was really nice and helped me pick out a color. However, when she was cutting my cuticles, she cut too much skin on one finger. Though it didn't bleed during that time, I certainly felt it especially with the oils. I didn't say anything at that time because I already made a big deal about about my mom getting a cut, and mine seemed minor compared to hers, but nevertheless, it's definitely not something you want to get when you go in for a manicure or pedicure. Overall, the staff is nice and polite, so if you don't mind the occasional cuts, you might like it. I however prefer to be cut free.
Been coming here for years and I LOVE this place. I'm also really picky about where I do my nails. Jade is the owner and also a tech and she's always there. She cares about her customers & if you need anything you can always tell her.
Michelle did my nails and they were exactly what I wanted! The staff was amazing, super friendly from the moment I walked in. I had an appointment at 2 and was immediately helped. The pedicures use a liner in the tub and they open a new pack of tools for every customer which is great being a germ freak. Overall great experience, I will definitely be back
My experience with this nail salon was great. To start off I was a walk in and they attended me right away. They have various colors and they are up to date with all the types of nails you might want to get. For example nail dipping, gel, acrylic, and designs. Everyone that worked there were pleasant. Thank you!
Fast friendly service. Reps make great suggestions if you're indecisive. That's a plus. But this place needs better ventilation the chemical odor will have your eyes burning. I almost ask for a mask too. But other than that no issues
My experience was pretty positive, jade is very friendly and makes conversation which is nice because I went to my last nail place for months and never spoke a word to my technician except for what I wanted. I got Next Gen Nails I think it's called and they came out very nice but they took 2 hours which may be standard but when I used to get normal acrylic it only took about 45 minutes. Besides the length I'm very happy and will be coming back.
This past June I was leaving on a beach vacation and wanted a color that would pop. Most importantly, I wanted to not worry about a mani or pedi so I opted for gel nail polish. Two days into my trip, my nail polish chipped on multiple fingers. I was upset that I had done gel to avoid this issue and it made no difference. After staying away from this salon for almost six months, I returned before a winter trip. Once again, after three days the nail polish looked awful and I realized I had overpaid for polish that is either old or not actual gel. I attempted to reach out in hopes that she'd help, but she ignored my written concern. She took no responsibility and never acknowledged the poor quality or workmanship. I was tolerant the first time; now, I won't return ever. I say buy nail polish over the counter and save yourself the $60+ dollars. You'll get the same result if you're only interested in having nice nails for two-three days. There are too many honest businesses needing customers. These scenarios are unacceptable.
I really wanted to like this place...but it was by far the worst place I've ever had my nails done. I went YESTERDAY...I was convinced to do a new type of gel...it was nicer, would last longer, etc I paid double what I would pay elsewhere and TODAY while on vacation my nails are already chipping...they didn't even last 24 hours!!!! Not to mention that I had my nails done with 1 tech...she was rushed and therefore left my nails sticky...the owner had to fix and obviously that didn't help either...I had a 2nd person do my pedicure and it was not relaxing at all...she cut my nails horribly even though I told her not to. Then the polish was all streaked...I can't even go get them fixed because I'm on vacation...so I'll have to have horrible looking nails until I return UPDATE: less than a week in and my nails are all peeling off! I've been offered a free polish but no thanks...I'll be disputing the charge on my credit card. You would think the expensive prices would match the quality of work. Really sad because owner seems very nice.
First of all, this place is expensive (58$) and it's not a very nice salon. The lady doing my pedicure made both my big toes bleed. Especially the right toe nail. It didn't stop bleeding for a while. The nail polish work was pretty bad. My manicure was ok but could definitely need work on the nail polishing application. After I was done, the gentleman ask about my experience and I told him that the lady made both my toes bleed and he responded with a simply "oh" and processed to charge me $58. After that not so pleasant experience, I still tipped both ladies. Definitely not returning to this place.
Had a mani and pedi done here yesterday. Everyone was nice (hence the two stars), but it just wasn't up to my standards. Sloppy cuticles and painting are my pet peeves. If you don't push back the cuticles properly, it's over. In this case, the painting was also sloppy. I had to ask to have the side of one nail painted. I also paid $10 extra for some polka dots which also weren't done well. Two of them smeared. $46 down the drain. I'm pretty sure this mani won't last. I will have them done over when I get to Disney.

I called this salon on Friday and they fit me in last minute which I appreciated . The people are very nice but they don't do a good Job in the nails. I have never received such a bad mani and pedi before. I don't think the women knew what she was doing. She kept saying the color I picked was a difficult one... it was white. As I was getting my nails done they ask how you are going to pay before you even finish. So I was already paying for my nails before I left which I found ridiculous. It was $61 for regular pedi and gel mani. A total ripoff for the work that they do. The receptionist is in another world. She doesn't wear her mask either. I think the owner is the only one that knows how to do their job there. read more

I will be updating this review after I get my nails done. I called this morning at 9:06 am to see if they had availability for a full set acrylic. The lady told me that she did and I told her I'll be there in 15-20 min. She told me it was okay. I arrived to the location they had on google by 9:20 am and I drove around the shopping center and the salons was not there. I parked and called 3 times and nobody picked up the phone. By 10:02am a lady called me saying that she missed the call and told me to head over there to fit me in and that she will call me back because she was having issues with the computer. She gave me the new address. At 10:16am, the owner called me telling me she could fit me in by 1:30pm when I was already parking my car. I don't know what's going on but the back and forth is a pain, specially when this is not the only thing you have to do during the day. read more

I came here bc my regular nail lady wasn't available. This has to be the worst place I have ever gone to get my nails done! The nail tech that did my dip manicure (which was $40) said she doesn't cut cuticles! I could not believe it!!! They did not have the color of the nail polish that I wanted, which was Opi funny bunny- a staple at any nail place. They showed me a color that was supposed to be funny bunny, but instead it was something else and was super old!! I was forced to get a pedicure with a color that wasn't the one I wanted. One week later, and my nails are all messed up!!! This is supposed to last 2-3 weeks!! Horrific!!!!! read more
I'm getting annoyed paying $30 for gel manicures only to get a mediocre job. This was my first visit here (hoping to find my new go-to spot) but I think I'll keep looking around. They were able to get me in two hours time from my phone call so that was convenient. Also, they are located about 5 minutes away, so I had high hopes for finding a convenient option. The people who work there are very friendly, except maybe for my nail technician (I think her name is Christina - she wasn't very welcoming, but then again I didn't come in for a conversation either) Anyway, the manicure itself was very simple, no frills. Not even a lotion hand massage or hot towel. My nail technician paid close attention to the application of my gel polish but somehow it still came out too bubbly and is already peeling. It's not even 9 hours later and it's already lifting up at one of the edges. Also, there are some spots with bubbles. $30 (would have been $35 because they wanted me to try their mood polish and that's normally $5 extra but they gave it to me complimentary) and I feel like it's not even going to last the week. WTF. read more

This the most amazing nail salon, so clean and the staff is super friendly. I have been doing my nails for over 15 years and I couldn't be any happier. Jade is the owner of the salon, she's a brilliant artist who does more than just nails. At Jade's salon the prices are fair and reasonable, her work and her staff's work are immaculate. I feel very pleased to have such a wonderful and caring friend who I can refer other people and know that they will be satisfied beyond their dreams with her work too. read more

Giving this place a combination of a 2 and 5 stars for NexGen nails and lashes. Both were different services. Jade is FANTASTIC. extremely sweet and welcoming. Her services definitely show her talents and I WOULD recommend her. can't say the same about the nail technician that helped me. NAILS: by Christina. wasn't welcoming or understanding to what I wanted. I told her TWICE to not touch my cuticles. I bleed easily. Ignored me still cut all cuticles. she saw I was pulling my hands away, she said that I was resisting a little and I had to remind her AGAIN that it was because she was hurting me. was concerned about a few nails looking really bad, but I figured she was going to fix them eventually. before I knew it, she finished. nails were left bumpy. didn't drill them down smoothly. didn't use enough top. From front view, they are uneven and some filed more than others. With tip, I payed almost $50. REDICULOUS for the service I received. first time doing NexGen. unprofessional. eating, checking her phone and fixing her OWN nails in between doing mine. Seemed really rushed to finish my nails but thats no excuse. I had an appointment scheduled for that time, came 10 minutes earlier in the middle of the day. I didn't come randomly or close to closing time. LASHES: synthetic done by Jade, came out better than expected. Shes very nice and comforting about my first time doing them. very gentle and calm. I DO recommend her for that. saved this review from being a 2 Star or a 1 Star. This has been my 100% honest opinion and I am not here trying to be mean. Just genuinely dissatisfied with the nail service. read more

I have no choice but to give this place 5 stars. If I choose to get my nails done, I usually go Mondays because I can just walk - in and it's not the crazy hustle and bustle. I actually use to come to this particular salon yearssss ago with my mother. My mother would always go to Jade and I would go to a younger girl about my age. Today was actually my first day back in such a long time and I have to say they did an AMAZING job renovating & updating their salon. It feels rather nice, comfortable and clean. Everything looks so neat and brand new. Chairs aren't tattered, massaging pedicure chairs aren't holey and the remote for massages actually work unless a lot of other places! lol, it's the truth. A pedicure here is a couple more dollars than I'm use to paying. I know I could go to other places and pay an even $20 or even lower for a slow week day but I would gladly pay the price because the standard of the work and grooming is just THAT good. My technician did an amazing job, took his time and my nails really show for it. I hate going to get a pedicure and you're practically done in 20 minutes. But here you really feel like you're getting a special treatment and care. This salon also seems to offer MANY MANY services like a spa treatment wrap for weight loss, waxing and threading, eyelash extensions. I might try the Eyelash extensions here sometime in the future! I saw they have an Instagram: jade_nailspa and I was kinda creepin' on their pics while getting my nails did. haha Lo & behold, I found my friendly neighborhood nail salon in Kendall :D read more

Along with the rest of the reviews. No choice but to give this place 5 stars. Tucked away in a shopping center minutes from my house lies my new go to place for a great mani pedi. Regular and gel! Everyone who works there is simply amaZing! So friendly and welcoming. All the stations are clean and the pedicure massage chairs work and are in perfect shape. Damarys (I think that's her name) did my mani & she's awesome!! She was patient while I chose my colors & she reshapes my nails to stiletto perfection! Luz did my pedicure and once again great. I love the foot and leg massage they give you. It's soooo yummy and relaxing. Terisa is the owner and also a nail design god. She's so talented and does a fantastic job! She's also super sweet and pays attention to each customer. I honestly enjoyed my time there and am looking forward to going back in 2 weeks for my next mani pedi! A true little gem in the Kendall area! read more

Without a doubt my new go-to spot! They have an amazing Spot On rewards program where you get a free manicure after you get five spots! You can download spot on as an app on your phone or they can give you a card, which I prefer cause I'm always running out of data haha. I expected the manicure to be almost 20 for such great service but it was only $12! The technician who did my nails was Suri. LOVE HER. She filed my nails exactly as I wanted, cut my cuticles without hurting me one bit, and constantly asked me if the shape of my nail or cuticles were okay. She was also careful to not cut too much of my cuticles, explained to me that my skin was sensitive and advised me to rub coconut oil on my fingers for faster skin growth. The mini hand massage was also a plus! She painted my nails wonderfully and wiped away any teeny bit of excess polish that may have gotten into my skin. I only wish she didn't apply such thick coats cause it took a long time for my nails to dry. Never the less, I'll definitely be coming back and now pledge my loyalty to Jade Nails for all my nail needs lol The entire staff is friendly, great atmosphere, and the owners have two adorable young daughters chillin around haha read more

The first couple of times I went to jade it was alright. I'm always a walk-in, i forget to make appointments (it's not like I come in on a super busy day) andddd I'm still a customer who's willing to pay $40-50 to get a nexgen. The First Lady who did my nails complained because I only wanted one tip instead of getting a whole set of tips. (I don't enjoy glueing anything to my nails) She left the tip crooked, it bothered me for the month I had it on... now the last time I went the lady completely destroyed my nails. Not only did she complain because I wanted a, not so complicated design, she literally said to me "está chiquita me está costando trabajo". It should of never been so complicated has she made it seem(I did get a gel this time). Nooot to mention that she completely destroyed my cuticles.. so If you do decide to come to jade, make an appointment with jade. read more

I've been to Jade's a couple times now. I've been attended by Jade and Lidia. Both are fine nail techs. I've left the salon satisfied every time. Jade is very detail oriented and isn't afraid to take her time to achieve the results you're expecting. Lidia is fun to be around and tackles any design you may bring to the table. Appointments are easy to make and staff is very friendly. My only slight discomfort is the grey interior of the salon. It's a bit bland and dull looking. Granted, the interior will not deter me from returning but I appreciate a colorful, modern, and more welcoming interior design. The quality of work, however, remains great and I'd recommend it to any of my friends looking for a new go-to nail salon. read more

What would be the difference between mink and silk lash extensions?
The mink lashes look more like real hair. Prepare to look fabulous all day every day!
Hi, I'm interested in getting my eyebrows threaded and tinted, gel nail polish (just a manicure) and my eyelashes lifted, how much do you think that all with cost me?
Hi brow threading and tinting is $30, gel manicure $30 and eyelash extensions are $80-100 for silk and $120-150 for minks
What are the prices for mani/pedi?
Hi sorry for the late response. Our price for mani & pedi combo is $35. You can checkout our webpage at www.jadenailsspa.com for other services. Have a great day. :)
