We came down from our room to have happy hour and the bar downstairs and had the most amazing experience with a bartender, his name was David. Embassy Suites charges $15 per day for parking. Why this cannot simply be added to the hotel bill is beyond me. After a long day of driving, I could not get the QR code to work at check-in. A staff member suggested the hotel's concrete structure was the cause. Repeated attempts to access the system were frustrating, and the employee admitted they receive frequent complaints about it. I called the number listed under the QR code and got no answer. Frustrated, I even asked to cancel my reservation. A manager eventually stepped in and manually entered my information on a hotel computer. I also dislike having to provide personal information to a third party just to park at a hotel where I am already a paying guest. Reviewing PMC's privacy policy only increased my concerns. If Hilton continues expanding these systems, it will influence where I choose to stay in the future. Aside from the parking issue, the hotel was fine. The rooms were clean and spacious with a 1990s vibe, and the property has a bar, a small gym, and cooked food on-site.

This hotel is an older hotel that looks to be remodeled. We stayed in a room with two queens. Not the two fulls that most hotels are pushing now. There was a microwave with a good size mini fridge. A television that had the basics along with Netflix. The breakfast each time we have went had a variety that was constant restocked and clean. The pool is indoors and heated. There is also whirlpool spa. The area for both was well kept and with plenty of towels. Along side the pool there were plenty of seats and small tables. All the receptionists we encountered were a delight from Amy in the graveyard to Cindy in the morning. The General Manager Kevin has great hospitality and has been easy to contact with concerns that we had.

The maintenance technician, who was in my suite ALL DAY Saturday 11/15, told me that the water in and water out hoses were installed backward. I noticed while he was there that the circuit breaker for the steam shower was turned off meaning that it was deliberately left disabled. The hotel staff therefore knew that the steam shower did not work, including when I checked in and told them that I have stayed there repeatedly because it's the closest hotel I've found with a steam shower (still two hours from home) and that I intended to spend much of the weekend in the steam shower. I have attempted to contact management (Nikhil and Angie) and they do not return my voicemails or my emails, and they have instructed the front desk to send me to voicemail instead of letting me speak to them. The steam shower is the only reason I have repeatedly stayed at this hotel (a total of nine nights) and it's the only reason I consider it to be worth the price. Management willingly allowed me to purchase something they knew they had no intention of delivering. This behavior borders on fraud. I seldom post reviews, and I almost never post negative reviews, but because of the way my bad experience has been ignored and dismissed, and because I've made significant good-faith effort to give hotel management an opportunity to make things right, I've decided to post a review in this case. UPDATE: Nikhil posted a reply on Google and TripAdvisor; I edited my review on Google but couldn't find a way to do so on TripAdvisor. He claimed to have informed me of the steam shower problem, and he also claimed to have offered me a partial discount for my trouble. Here is my update I posted on Google: UPDATE after hotel's response: Lies. Bald-faced lies. I was NOT informed of the issue with the steam shower; I called the front desk when I first tried to use the steam shower on the first night and they had no idea of an existing problem. Nikhil responded to my email on the second day, halfway through the time the maintenance tech was in my room (which went from 9 or 10 in the morning until at least 3 pm, and I wasn't told he wasn't returning until I called after 6 pm to ask, meaning my romantic getaway was on hold ALL DAY SATURDAY) and at that time Nikhil told me there was an issue, but that was not helpful because I had ALREADY told HIM that there was an issue. He pretended that he was informing me of the issue, when he only did that after I had informed HIM of the issue. NO REFUND OR DISCOUNT, PARTIAL OR OTHERWISE, WAS OFFERED OR DELIVERED. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel, because they can not be trusted to deliver what is promised (the steam shower is an amenity listed in the description, a very specific selling point justifying the cost of the room, and thus is not an "additional feature" which they can optionally choose not to provide). Not only that; when they do not provide what is promised, they are willing to flat out lie in a public post as evidenced in their response. Shame on you, Nikhil.

Requiring doctor to fill out a form stating that they guest cannot travel to their hotel due to illness. Not the humiliation of having to reach out to your busy doctor for a "teachers excuse". We should be told that when paying extra, not just an embedded notification in the reservation details AFTER prepaying. Ridiculous. And shame on you for this misleading practice.

My family of three and I stayed there for a mini staycation earlier this year in April. We booked a…read more1 king + sofa bed guest room. It was perfect for the three of us. Both the bed and the sofa bed were comfortable. The room is not fancy, just simple and modern, has all necessities. Jodie from the restaurant was amazing, friendly and provided great service. The food options at the restaurant were very limited, but were of good quality and taste (had breakfast and dinner there once). The alcholic beverages were pretty good (we had cocktails and wine). The coffee/lattes were great! They only have one vegan option, which prevented me from dinning there more as I didn't want the same dinner more than once in a row - at least two options would be nice! The hotel is very clean and has a great layout, furniture and decor. The front desk staff were pretty quiet with guests, not necessarily friendly, but not rude. The outdoor space was nice, they have cornhole and a fire pit table. Our room was nice, modern and a good size. We had a room that faced the mountains/ Centerra area. Downsides: no room service, no menus were available for guests (had to take a pic with my phone, so be sure to do that if you want to look over the menu in your room), the pool is not kid-friendly (for young children/ toddlers). When we visited the pool, it was packed with young teens, which was very annoying as they took over most of pool and were very loud; hence, not a relaxing experience. It'd be nice for a hotel staff member to monitor the pool to ensure all guests can enjoy it. The daily parking fee! It's about $13 or so per day, but I've never stayed at a hotel that charged for parking, not one like this one. It is normal at boutique hotels and resorts, but not a hotel like a Marriott Courtyard.
