Our stay was perfect. This location is convenient to downtown Estes and close to both the Beaver Meadows and Falls River RMNP entrances. We had a 1BR/1BR which met our needs perfectly. Brandon was friendly and responsive to our needs. The unit was clean and well maintained. I will definitely recommend this to friends.

Great place to stay! The owners are very friendly. We rented the Prospectors cabin for the weekend and it was very clean, well supplied and very comfortable. They allow pets which was a huge plus for me, I travel with my pup as often as possible. It's nice to have all the members of your family for a fun holiday getaway. Thanks for a great stay! I would recommend the prospectors cabin for a couple any time.

We just came back from a girls trip to Colorado. We went to enjoy Bigfoot Days in Estes Park. My…read moremom & aunt thought it would be fun to have a spooky experience. The hotel is rich in history. Everywhere you look there is charm. We stayed in the "Cowboy Attic Suite". My mom immediately had an "experience". I heard a grandfather clock chime throughout our stay. I never saw one and forgot to ask where it was located. I love old clocks. My aunt had her own experience that woke her from her sleep. Everyone we encountered was nice and we appreciated the cander as we asked for their stories/experiences there. The bad....for what we paid, it was not worth it. The floor feels dirty. It is as though they have not thought to clean the carpets in quite some time. Under the bed is a nice layer of dust. The whole hotel could use a moist cloth and a good wipe down. The dust in the display cases throughout the hotel is obvious and off putting. We met Hannibal. Wish we would have booked the seance, but alas, we ran out of time. He was a hoot to talk to.

Where to start. Our most recent stay of six (6) nights was a tale of NO's!…read more No reasonable on property quality food choices No AC and Non Operable windows to open Non Operable portable AC unit sitting in middle of an already tiny room No housekeeping No (well extremely limited) parking because of construction No beautiful grounds And on and on.......... The hotel obviously has history and charm but it's currently under massive construction everywhere you look. Total chaos. Dirt overflow parking. And all at a premium $$$ price. Don't do it. You'll regret it I promise.

I am honestly a little surprised by some of the bad reviews on here for this place. We had a good…read moreexperience. We stayed there during Christmas break. The cabin is small and cozy. It was the perfect size for me and my hubby and our fur baby. We could park our car right In front if the front door. The location is beautiful of course. We love Estes Park. The cabin had all the basic amenities such as hot water, utensils, gas stove, heater, firewood (we got this from the front desk). Here's the bad part. I am a stickler for clean bed sheets avd always check pillow cases before going to bed. It was obvious that the pillow cases had not been washed since the previous guest. There was hair all over it. I had to cover it with my shawl. Also, if you leave the heating on at night, the cabin tends to get very warm. If you don't have the heating on, it will be very cold and there's not enough blankets provided. Would we come back. I think so. But we will make sure to bring plenty of blankets and our own sheets.

I accidentally booked the Tiny Town cabins instead of the Beaver Brook. Due to the cancellation policy, I was not able to receive any refund for my mistake. I ended up booking a room at a hotel instead and ate the cost. The staff is friendly but their refund policy needs work.
