Stayed here for a fun mothers day and we were extremely disappointed. Entire 3rd floor reeked of weed. Stayed here so the kids could use the water slide and it was broken. No notice anywhere online when booking Guy sitting next to hot tub outside smoking a weed making the entire pool area stink as well. No offer to discount the room or offer any sort of remedy for the disgusting smell or the water slide not working. Turned Mother's Day evening into a very disappointing night. My son and I visit the Johnstown area every year and for the past 3 years have stayed at the Comfort Suites Loveland. We arrived Tuesday and this morning about 7:30 am (Friday) I ask the girl at the desk to have the room serviced, clean towels and change the bedding. As of 9:30 pm nothing has been done. I had to go to the desk to get towels to be able to shower and wash my hair. Since covid they do not care for the rooms during stays, but the rates have not gone down. read more

For a low budget motel it wasn't too bad the room was clean the toilet worked and the tv worked.The only issue I had is that the room smelled Like smoke even though it was designated as a non smoking room.The breakfast was good.You really can't complain for a room that was below $70. read more

The room I booked was not what I received when I checked in. I talked with the night manager and they were not able to resolve the problem. I reserved a double Queen room and was given a king. As a resolution, I requested another room with another bed. I was offered a 10% discount on the room which was not satisfactory. The night manager contacted another manager and I was offered a 50% discount. Again, I was not happy because I had three full sized people and only one bed and a pull out. I requested an opportunity to move to another room on our second night and was told they would make a note in my account. I called the hotel the next day at noon to see if I could move and was told "sorry, we just booked our last one" and that no note was made on our account. The second night the manager told us that we weren't welcome to gather and have open alcohol containers. She was rude and told us we were being too loud. Meanwhile, they had two outside groups (locals) renting party space and the pool area and those groups had brought alcohol in as well. Our group in total booked at least 14 nights between 7 families and only half of the rooms were the actual rooms we reserved. Overall terrible experience and inexperienced staffing makes this a poor choice. read more

The person on the phone was incredibly professional and courteous. The hotel is beautiful and convenient to the Budweiser center. The pool has a slide and a play area for all ages. The hot tub is outside and the bubbles aren't working but that's ok. I'm not swimming personally so it doesn't bother me. The pool area is LOUD but with a cheer competition and volleyball competition, the place is packed. This is a great staycation place as there are restaurants and stores close by. The rooms are clean and everything looks brand new. Even though it set me back 200$, it's well worth it read more

Came here JUST for the pool to have a fun pizza night and hang with family. Upon entering the pool area, we instantly smelled algae. It smelled just like a fish tank. The water was green. We reported this to the front desk and all they said was they would check the chlorine levels. Clearly there isn't any in there! GROSS!! Will never come here again or recommend. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. The front desk night staff, especially the night manager Frances, are the rudest most confrontational people I've ever seen in the hospitality industry. We were there with a sports team for a tournament so there were a lot of girls there. There is nowhere for anyone to hang out, outside of their rooms or the pool. We had some food for the team in the lobby because there was nowhere else to go. We cleaned up after ourselves and made sure we didn't leave a mess behind. The next night we were hanging out in the lobby having a drink and were told rudely that we couldn't have open containers, so we left and went to one of the rooms. Our girls had some food and accidentally spilled some in the hallway. Frances accused them of throwing the food, but it was just an accident. We offered to clean it up if they had something for us to use, but were told "I'll do it" by the manager. There was still food on the floor the next morning. Every time she spoke to us she was aggressive and confrontational. If she would have spoken to us nicely, she would have gotten a much better reaction. When one of the fathers calmly asked her about the food incident, she called the cops to have him removed. He never raised his voice or threatened her in any way. That manager has no business working in a service industry. From other reviews it doesn't sound like the general manager should be there either. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

On 1/30 I called the reservations department to book a large room for 2 adults and 6 children. She said that due to fire code regulations, we would have to book two rooms. I could understand that but asked for adjoining rooms. She said absolutely and would add notes to the reservation. On 2/5 I called the reservation line to confirm the adjoining rooms and she reassured me that we had two adjoining rooms. On 2/6 my sister in law checked in with six 8 year old girls in tow. We were celebrating my niece's birthday! She said they were supposed to have adjoining rooms and the lady found the note in the reservation. She asked her manager to come over and he said absolutely not. Those rooms have to be booked months in advance. The lady apologized but said she had two rooms next to each other and recommended we keep the doors open to monitor and move in between. I met them in the lobby and she told me what they said. I told her I would check in and see if there was any other solution. The idea of having six little girls in a room alone and two women alone with their doors open did not sound safe. Plus, I'm sure that other guests didn't want to hear us in our rooms and going back and forth. I checked in at the front desk and tried to explain the situation. I told him we were supposed to have two rooms that were adjoining. He told me that all adjoining rooms were for the handicapped. I told him we didn't mind handicapped accessible rooms. He then told me, "Like I said, these rooms are for the HANDICAPPED ONLY! Plus, they are all booked up!" I asked why I was promised these rooms if they were already reserved. He asked me who promised me the rooms and I told him I spoke to two different ladies in reservations and they added notes to our reservation. He looked up the notes and without ever making eye contact with me, he rolls his eyes and says, "Well that's where YOU messed up! If you have a special request, you have to call the hotel directly! And, that was a request and not a guarantee." Wow! Okay, I then tell him I don't feel like having our doors open and going between rooms is safe and will probably be an annoyance to the other guests. Also, I don't understand the discrepancy between booking a room through the reservation department rather than directly through the hotel. Another couple next to me checking in chimed in and said, "yeah, we don't want a room next to all that." I knew this wasn't going to get resolved, so I told him to forget it and I would contact corporate and explain the booking discrepancy between the reservation department and the actual hotel. This is when he lost it. He told me he was the manager and he wanted to know if there was going to be a problem. I told him there wasn't going to be a problem. Then he starts yelling at me that I already said there was going to be a problem by not having adjoining rooms and having the girls have open doors and going in between. Before I could even explain that the lady standing next to him was the one that told us to do that, he told me to leave and was cancelling my reservation. I was so taken aback and offended, I told him fine and turned to leave. Then he yells, "and tell your sister in law and all those girls to come back here because they are kicked out too!" I called my sister in law and told her what happened. She couldn't believe it. Neither could I! I told her not to worry and I would find us a couple rooms while she went and talked to the manager. As she was in line waiting, I texted her and that I found two adjoining rooms nearby. She told the manager she was there to checkout and he said that was fine but wouldn't be refunding her money. She asked why and he said, "because your sister is the rudest person in the world and doesn't respect COVID. And people that don't respect COVID should be treated rudely and aren't welcomed here!" She was very confused about the COVID comment because I didn't mention anything about him accusing me of violating COVID restriction (because there was never a mention of me violating COVID restrictions!) so she asked if I could please check into the other room and he said absolutely not. She called me back and said he wasn't refunding her room if she left. Plus, her daughter and her friends were super excited about the slide at the pool. I told her I would leave and to just have a fun time. Now, as I write this letter, I'm hoping my reservation was refunded! I'll look into that later. More importantly, the manager knew that now there was going to be 7 people in one room. Just another example of the discrepancy between the reservation department and the actual hotel. I'm just really surprised that the hotel manager doesn't care about fire code violations. I will never book a room here again! read more

We were pleasantly surprised with this small weekend getaway. Facility was really taken care of. Room was top notch two queen beds and a sofa sleeper for teenagers to hang, talk and play video games. My son and his friends went to the swimming pool last Friday 3/17/2023. ALL 3 KIDS HAVE BEEN SICK SINCE THEN . It is from the disgusting lack of care taken with the pool. It was murky looking pond water apparently fit for frogs not children to swim in. You should probably fire your 3rd party pool servicing company . At this point after 3 sleepless nights no respond from your "High Class Management" team and a very sick child.. I will be letting the entire world know how well this shituation was handled. My son was with family friends and I was not there or I would have never let him go in the pool . This hotel does not comply with COVID precautions in general. Room did not have a "clean seal" on door, found toys and socks from previous guests under bed and dresser. Pulled out sofa bed and found mold on mattress cover and the mattress. When these issues were brought to the hotels attention, they said I should have told them about it at check in! I did not get Down on hands and knees to inspect at check in but had to 2 days into stay when I lost a wedding ring and thought it may have slipped under the rooms furniture. Bottom line, this place is not clean by any standards, especially in today's world. The clerk was beyond rude about it and told us there was nothing she could or would do. read more

This place was so much fun!! The rooms are clean, the pool was awesome and allowed hours of entertainment. Every single staff member was beyond friendly from the front desk, pool people to the house keeping staff. Location is key as it is literally steps away from Scheels and we were able to walk there for find as well as surrounding locations to eat dinner. I'm a hotel snob and typically I wouldn't give this chain a chance. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we ended up staying three nights. The staff were very accommodating. The amenities were very clean. The soundproofing between rooms was stellar. The bathroom was huge! A water slide for the kids was an extra bonus. Hotel is clean and new. Employees are very friendly. The included breakfast was mediocre. For the price of the hotel (almost $200 per night) they could have a better breakfast and coffee bar. For the same price per night I suggest the Embassy Suites. The Embassy Suites has a full omelette bar with made to order breakfast and a included happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. The room there also have a kitchen along with a table and living area. For the money the Comfort Suites not as nice as Embassy Suites. read more

This hotel was AMAZING! The guest services were wonderful. We stayed the weekend here for our 22nd Anniversary with our family. We booked two rooms, one a double queen room for our teenage girls, and a 2nd room with a king bed and two bunk beds. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The bed and coverings were clean and also super comfortable and I did not wake up missing my own bed. The hotel is super quite. It was quite full and yet I did not hear any doors slamming or people stomping around on the floor above us or even another guest once inside my room. The hotel has a wonderful pool and hot tub. The pool has an outdoor slide that wraps outside the building and lands into a smooth catch area that is not part of the pool. They also have a Splash Pad outside, as well as a kiddie zero depth pool with a cute little age 2-4 Train Engine Slide. The entire experience was wonderful and we thank the Comfort Suites in Johnstown for a wonderful Weekend. read more

At check in, the evening staff was superb! My initial room had a broken fridge, which was corrected and our family was moved over. However, the next room, the sink did not drain and a friend of ours had a separate room with no water/working toilet. We ran out of toilet paper because we were only given less than a qtr of a roll. The room size was decent and the beds were comfortable. The pool was amazing. Great for kids of all ages. The hot tub was also broken both days. My biggest complaint comes from the next morning front desk staff. She was EXTREMELY rude and pushy. I work in customer service and she should not be allowed out of the back office. We used one of the carts to bring down our breakfast items and within minutes of bringing it outside to the grill area she asked if we were done and said she needed it back. She insinuated we were letting "guests" come visit when it was 3 separate families in three separate rooms. She said we were not allowed to cook or eat together, however the tables outside were 6ft apart. When attempting to reactivate our extended stay cards she seemed upset that we did not know we needed to come before 11a and was nasty about having to extend them. read more
