I got a new fridge, but want to keep the old fridge in the garage. When I connected to the outlet it shuts off after 15-20 mins. I didn't know what to do so I submitted a quote on Yelp. Back in October, I received the unhappy news that SafeCo, the underwriter of my home insurance, would not be renewing my policy. I had to scramble to find another insurer and thought myself extremely fortunate when Mercury wrote a new policy for about the same amount I'd been paying SafeCo. But then, just five or so weeks later, my new insurer informed me that they, too, would be cancelling my policy just a few weeks hence. They didn't like that the electrical subpanel in my house was of the old fuse variety, which are more likely to be implicated in fires. Mercury would only rescind the cancellation if I replaced the subpanel with a modern switch-based unit--and it had to happen fast. So once again, I found myself anxiously scrambling, this time for an electrician. I got quotes from three guys. I found Tim Rubio of Jade Electric to be friendly and personable, and his quote came in considerably lower than the other two--less than half of the second-highest quote and only 25 percent of the highest one. Just as important, he was able to squeeze in my project right after Christmas and only two days before my insurance was due to expire. I have him to thank for the fact that the threatened cancellation of my insurance was rescinded. He really saved my bacon and I am very grateful. In a separate project, he will also be upgrading the electrical capacity of my house from 100 amps to 200 amps. So if you're looking for an electrician, you can stop now. Their price was more competitive, and both Tim and Nikko were responsive and easy to communicate with. I contacted Tim on yelp in November. He provided the most reasonable quote. Two staff arrived, Joe and Nikko to remove two old ceiling fans and assemble and install two new. After unpacking the new ceiling fans, we learned that there was a light switch installation option. Joe and Nikko also installed the switches and programmed the remotes. The were very careful to keep the work area tidy. After installing everything Joe also painted the ceiling to correct the discoloration. Great and efficient service.
