Great local Chinese take out. Prices are very reasonable. Personally, I'm a fan of their chicken lo mein. The inside of the restaurant is kind of weird, such that it is just a few tables and chairs with no waiters or waitresses. Ordered food on line at 7:30 at night and food was to be here by 8:30. Had to call 2 times after 8;30 to check on delivery status. Food arrived after 9 and it was cold.I tried to have them redeliver hot food but they had no idea how long it would take, Finally they brought back my money and took back the unopened food which was never touched.. read more

The food is average and so are the prices. The driver tried to rip me off for twenty bucks when I had ordered delivery the last time I went there. Like I was gonna give you a twenty to break down the road when you first said "Sure I have change !" and then you keep insisting I allow them to do that. My stepdad was in the hospital at Summa and we didn't feel like dining on hospital food so we found this place a mile away. It's in a plaza with Dave's Supermarket. It wasn't outstanding but I've certainly had far worse. You order at the counter but they'll deliver to your table. There was always business at the counter despite us being one of two tables with people in the restaurant so clearly they remain busy and are a favorite in the neighborhood. The crab rangoon was delicious...but I've never met a crab rangoon I didn't like! I also had the sesame chicken, as did my husband. He's eating my leftovers as we speak. My mom had the cashew chicken which she enjoyed. I debated between 3 & 4 stars. They weren't great but as Yelp explains, 3 stars means "A-OK". read more

Ordered food at 4:50pm. Was told it would be delivered at 5:45. By 6:10pm, it still was not delivered. I called and a girl answered. I said I was checking on my delivery order. Her reply "It is on it's way." She then hangs up. Never asked my name or address. At 6:30, I call again. I am actually able to give my address this time and am told it has left the store and is on its way. After 15 more minutes I now call back and ask for the manager. She says she is the manager. I ask what is going on with my order. A man who I assume was the actual manager gets on the phone and tells me my order was never received. I ask why was told my order was coming if it was never received and he can not give me an answer. He promises my card will not be charged. I will never go back. Had the shrimp with lobster sauce. It wasn't that at all it was like some kind of egg drop soup with imitation crab meat & shrimp & a side of rice. Had the lobster lo mien & it wasn't lobster at all. Imitation crab & crawfish tails. I think they need to update their menu because I didn't get what I expected. When I read lobster I expect to have actual lobster or even actual lobster sauce. So im sitting at home with nothing to do wondering what to do for dinner. I really want chinese but so many of the local places have closed or I have tried and they just aren't good. Now I am sure we all know how fast food chinese tastes. Its close to full service but just does not measure up. Even the best, you can tell was reheated or prepared earlier in the day. I was searching online and found the jade dragon. They have their own website. I was searching through and I noticed their website was kind of like amazon. They had an add to cart feature. They had an online ordering system. I thought okay I live in Tallmadge they are in Akron near the college I will have to go get it. Nope their delivery area is 5 miles around. They actually have a google map with a green area they deliver to. If your in the area they deliver. You can even add your tip ahead of time. They deliver. I made my online order and opted to pay cash. It was fast and easy. I am also weary of using credit online so next time I might give that a try. The estimated delivery time was 7:37. It was fifteen minutes late. I dropped a star for that. But I did call and check up and the person asked what my address was and said she left ten minutes ago give her a few minutes. Sure enough she was there. The food was actually good. I usually get wonton soup. wontons can be pre made and if left to sit can have a watery taste. These did not. In fact when I bit into the wonton I tasted the filling. Now I am not sure what most other places fill their wontons with but most times I can tell its red meat. I could not tell you if its ham , ground meat or something. But I know it was red meat. In this case i could taste ham or pork. Almost like pepperoni. Really good and different. The food and the delivery driver were both fantastic. However, the girl I talked to on the phone showed extremely poor customer service which made the experience terrible. When I had called to make sure my online order had been placed, it stated online that when you purchase over $20 you get a free order of crab meat and cheese... I had asked to make sure that was included and she told me no because "if you don't specifically write in the instructions to put that in there they don't see the deal " Which is fine. But that makes it a website issue that really should state that to the customer so they know to ensure its included. I had then asked if there was any way it can be brought to me and she responded "no, because we're busy tonight and we only have like 3 drivers so it probably won't happen tonight." Which was extremely rude way to say that I'm being blown off with absolutely no resolution giving me the impression that my service wasn't as valuable as other people who are asking for their orders. This place has great food. I would like to be honest about that. I would alsolike to mention that i delivered for him. He told me its $5 a delivery but it was actually 2$ per delivery so this means i would have to drive all the way to monrue falls ohio from exchange st in akron which is about 14 miles away for less than 5 $ he also pays nothing for gas to his employees that are helping him. All deliveries outside of a delivery area for most restraunts charge more except for him they care about there employees he expects to much for way to little he cheats his employees that are american. If you actually seen the amount of he takes in you would understand how much of a cheat he really is When i first met him i felt like he would be the last person to be a cheat. i was going to let my daughter work for him but i wont let her waste gas to drive far distances to get doors slammed in her face no tips and not get money for gas noone should have to be cheated like that because there boss is cheap. The worst place to eat at! Seriously how hard is it to make sure your food if not moldy or rancid? I should not have to bite into my food and receive a disgusting sourly taste and over cooked chicken! On top of that I called into the store to report it, I wasn't even made, I was willing to come in and get my meal fixed but nooo, I called and got the phone on the counter while she talking to the manager or whoever and said either you can come in or get credit your next meal and before I could finish my sentence, she hung up the fucking phone! Don't get mad at me cause you can't check your food before you cook it and stop cleaning your store with strong cleaning solution while people are fucking eating, like how the hell is anyone suppose to enjoy their food if all the smell is cleaning products? Generally, I have not had any problems with this place of business; I love their General Tso's Chicken; it is really Great! However, my last experience on 4/4/17 at 0844pm was the worst ever... I ordered my meal online this time from the menu. Needless to say, I scrolled through the menu and it was hard locating General Tso's Chicken, but once I found it the menu said, General Tso's OR Sesame Shrimp, so I picked what I always get, General Tso's, (and, I know no other food associated with General Tso other than Chicken). Since I ordered from work the delivery was higher in price, $3.00. The meal was $9.75, Totaling $12.75, which I was not bothered by and was willing to pay because I know it's worth it. After the meal was delivered, I inspected it because it looked different. After tasting it, it seems (taste) different, so I scrapped the breading off the meat and discovered it was Shrimp. I looked at my order form and it said the following; 1 of 1 General Tso's or Sesame Shrimp (General Tso's) 1 9.75 +Spicy:Little Hot (??) The key word here is 'OR'. I called the store to inform them that they delivered the wrong meal that was ordered. The girl or lady kept telling me it should have sesame seeds on the shrimp that you ordered. And I told her, I ordered the General Tso Chicken and this is shrimp, but still, it does not have sesame seeds on it either. She put the manager on the phone who said; no, you ordered the Sesame Shrimp meal because I'm looking at the online order now. I said so am I and no, I ordered General Tso's, and the online receipt states in parentheses that I ordered (General Tso's), and you gave me Shrimp and it should have been Chicken. The manager was still trying to tell me that I ordered shrimp. And then YELLS at me in a loud harsh voice, "WELL DON'T CALL HERE ANYMORE THEN!), and hung up the telephone on me. On the receipt they have a (888#) for Questions, so I call it and tell the person who picked up what just happened with this manager, and he says he's going to call the store and speak with the manager; I said, don't you want me order#, and he said no, I'm going to call the store. I stated to him that I would like a refund or have them deliver what I actually ordered, General Tso Chicken, and that I only know of one thing for General Tso, and that is Chicken. I waited for a return call from either the manager restaurant or the (888#) person; nobody ever called to discuss this with me. I wait...a day, no call back from manager/888# person. I call the (888#) again, sounds like, seems like they can not speak English, or can not understand me and what I am saying. I call the restaurant back; get the manager again; states to me, you called 2 days ago; I said yes, and I am trying to help you understand my dilemma with you; I ordered the General Tso's not the Shrimp; I only know of one thing made from chinese cooking for General Tso and that is Chicken. The order form shows in parentheses (General Tso). I never had this problem before ordering from you; I would like a refund or the delivery of what I ordered, General Tso Chicken; he laughed. All the while on the phone the manager keep stepping away from the phone and talking about the issue with female lady and hearing them both laughing in the background, then the phone hang up again. This is totally unacceptable! I called back, we're talking again about the situation; I recommend changing the online menu so that it says General Tso's Chicken; he laughs saying, I have never had this problem before; next time you order, select #S9 for General Tso's Chicken; state, I have been in this business for 10 years and have never had problem with order. I am thinking to myself .. Well, a lot of things change in 10 years... I looked through the online menu several times before ordering my meal that day, and the only General Tso that I found was the one I selected .. So, I thought it was Chicken that I ordered. This is totally not appreciated and unacceptable customer service response from a manager of this franchise. I will never ever order from this place again. I will tell people I know not to order from this place. All I wanted was a damn refund or bring my correct order that I ordered. I wish there was more that I could do to relieve the frustration and dissatisfaction that I feel. Owners/Businesses should not be allowed to get away with treating paying customers for poor service. The manager never even tried to compromise or understand my situation; he talked over me as if I did not understand what he was saying. Karma is a B!tch...! read more

Excellent! I have eaten at so many Chinese restaurants between Akron/Fairlawn and Canton I couldn't even begin to list them. I have eaten Asian food on average at least once or twice a week for a really long time, I love it so much!! I always start with a simple dish to try and these guys nailed it!! The hot and sour soup is awesome!!! The chicken lo mein was so fresh and delicious for such a simple dish!!! Definitely a keeper to try more!!! Food is very impressive and the folks are nice...at least the Asian folks are. Not somewhere I'd dine in unless I had to but will def take out more! read more

My husband and I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and have had issues each time. When doing an online order, we were given an estimated time of 1 hour, which we felt was a ridiculous estimate considering we live 10 minutes away, and after the time expired we were still waiting on our food. I called the restaurant and received terrible customer service. The employee was very short and rude when I was trying to get information from her and even hung up on me. Waiting over 2 hours for food is absolutely ridiculous! We will not be ordering from this place again! read more
