I came here on a road trip. The wait staff is amazing. However.. I was so disappointed to see this assistant general manager scolding an employee. He was so in her face screaming and I was just so absolutely disgusted that he would do that. His behavior in my opinion came off extremely toxic and aggressive. Wow!! Columbus has an amazing little restaurant right here!!! Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Even the tea was awesome! Our server, Summer, was super sweet and excellent. Best cheese sticks I've ever had!!! I recommend this place for sure!!! read more

This was a great local gem! Had chicken and waffles and i was very impressed! Lexi our server was so attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our experience with her being our server. Check's out. Great casual spot, for Columbus, MS. Good atmosphere. Typically great service, and I would say fairly priced for the quality and quantity of food. Lately, it's been our brunch spot, but we've done plenty of lunches and dinners there as well. For Brunch it's typically the Wild Berry French Toast. Chicken Waffles aren't bad either, though I have memorable elsewhere. The Shrimp and Grits are delish. As are the Pepperjack Cheese stick apps. They used to have the best burger in town, but it's been axed for a regular smegular better than fast food nothing special burger. Prime rib sandwich is absolutely Prime. The fish tacos are a delight. If you're in Columbus for a few days, it has to be on your list. I won't say it should be top of list, but on the list, if you get my drift. Happy Dining. read more

One of the limited options of the fine city of Columbus that isn't fast food. Wish there were more items on the brunch menu. Each time I've gone the food has been fine but not as hot as it should have been when it arrived to the table. Staff is friendly but not in a hurry (very much a staple of the south it seems). Seated quickly, with menus but after 15 minutes NOT ONE server who walked by inqired as to whether we'd even like something from the bar. We got up and walked out- leaving menus on the table and as we passed by one of the THREE hostesses at the front a "thank you!", was shouted at us as we walked out the door to go somewhere else. Would totally recommend this place! I had the Bourbon Street Nachos (it's an appetizer) for my meal for lunch and they were delicious! The service was exceptional from our waitress and even the manager came out and greeted us and after finding out it was our first time visiting she gave us a free dessert, so mom got the Brownie Sundae and they wrote "Welcome to the Grill" on the dessert plate with chocolate syrup. Wow! We are so impressed by our time at the Grill. Our server, Chris, made us feel so welcomed and introduced a few things on the menu we were curious about. He was honest and so personable. He steered us in a great direction with the cocktails, appetizer, main courses, and dessert! The quality of the drinks were superb, the spring rolls and chili sauce that accompanied it were excellent, and the chicken piccata & old school chicken sliders were delicious. The manager offered to cover our desert as we were first time guests and we chose the berry cobbler. It was absolutely perfect. Came to eat supper and let my boyfriend have him a few drinks but after his first drink our server told us the manager (Tasha) said she couldn't ring him in another drink without even coming by the table. Our serve said she was in the server alley talking/laughing about not serving us just because she could. The management here is terrible (telling from experience of working there for almost 2 years). Hubby and I went The night before Father's Day. We each got one of the specials, he got the Father's Day special which was a piece of steak over a bed of rice supposed to have Cajun seasoning on it. I got the halibut grilled fish. We will probably not go back to this place, as I paid right at $100 with tip for a meal that neither one of us could eat. Cajun seasoning on the steak turned out to have rosemary in it, which my husband hates. Stopped in overnight at Columbus, MS. We found this nice place. My wife had quiche and I had the steak tenderloin skewers. The staff was very friendly. Other than the slip up when they brought us unsweetened tea, everything was great. The staff was very attentive. Several servers checked in on us. Amazing restaurant! The food is big-city quality with small-town charm and flavor. My friend and I ate here after moving in to the town. I ordered the fish special-- Blacktip Shark with amazing Cajun style sauce and spiced cabbage. It was perfectly cooked-- juicy and fresh tasting as fish should be with the medium-rare feel of steak. This place absolutely sucks. The food is completely average, and it's borderline on being garbage. The first thing they told us was that we can't sit at the table unless our entire party was there which is stupid. The server we had was very low energy and didn't care about what she was doing. We are huge fans of the Grill. The food is delicious, and a pleasant surprise in a small town like this. My favorite thing on the menu is the ribeye sandwich, but I've had a variety of other dishes here and I have enjoyed everything. The restaurant is also very accommodating to food allergies if they are made clear with the server. I highly recommend them. read more
