We are part of the Road Warriors family. We had a blast during the three nights we stayed at Snake River Cabins! The cabins were cozy, the river was beautiful and whitewater rafting was awesome. We met Kim and Bill and they were awesome too! We would definitely stay here again. 5 stars! Woohoo!

We came here with a group of 41 for a family vacation and the staff went above & beyond to accommodate all of us! All of the cabins were so clean and cozy, the entire camp grounds was very well kept and you can tell they put love and thoughts into making sure it was welcoming to all families! The views from Snake River right behind our cabins were amazing! Highly recommend to anyone visiting this area! We definitely plan to return!

My family stayed in 9 cabins. MAMA BEARS, BLACK BEARS, GRIZZLIES AND A HONEY BEAR. They were very clean, comfortable and had ever travel amenity you can ask for. The firepit area in the middle of the grizzlies and black bears was perfect for our nightly gatherings. We bbq every night, sat around to do family activities and even held our annual family TALENT SHOW in this awesome spot!! I give 5+ stars to Bill, Kim and their staff. I was looking for a location that offered the natural beauty of Jackson and something special like the Snake River and these cabins!! We even rafted with DAVE HANSEN and had so much fun. Thank you Bill and Kim for being a part of our memorable family trip. You are officially part of our ROAD WARRIORS FAMILY. Wilma Dedmon Road Warriors July 2022

This was a wonderful find! We stayed here while we explored the Grand Tetons and loved it. The Mama Bear cabin was perfect for us with several children. The girls slept up in the loft and the boys stayed on the pull out couch. Mom and dad and baby had a little room with a door. The small kitchen in the room allowed us to prep meals for the day in the park. We used the laundry facility too. Definitely would stay here again. They told me at check out that it was under all new management. Seems like they are doing a great job.

We had a great weekend in their black bear cabin! It was a great location right on the snake river and had all the amenities, and then some. The store was nice and had all friendly/helpful workers inside. Highly recommend staying here !

Parked a regular so his slide out was like a back rest for our picnic table. What a joke.

Would have rated it no star if possible. Drove across the country for 2 weeks. This is far and away the worst place we have stayed, from Ohio to Wyoming. Actually every other place we stayed was excellent. They have 5 guys riding on golf carts doing absolutely nothing. One of the employees was complaining how his boss grossed a million dollars a month at this place and just 2 days ago he fired someone for not picking up 2 pieces of wood that a camper left at his sight the night before. Also was hovering in the "rec" room, that closes at 7 I might add, to get intent. They employees thought it was funny that they could charge there non-regulars such a high price. And they added no extra staff for this big weekend. The bathrooms were horrid. They were to busy riding golf carts to clean. Showers were tepid. We arrived on Thursday for a 3 night stay. They made us move the 2nd night. Only so they could charge us 180 per night because of the lead up to the eclipse. Nowhere on there Web page does it advertise such a price. Limit is 89. Sites are small no gravel. They also do not enforce the quiet time. People were playing a radio and playing corn-hole to 1 am. And the need for golf carts, that's a joke. You can walk the whole place in 4 mins.

My family and I (all 42 of us) stayed here for several days during our annual family road trip. We have traveled extensively over many states and have stayed at many hotels. This place made a lasting impression upon all of us. The amenities were perfect, clean cabins, modern amenities, spacious gathering areas to bbq, beautiful views along the river, white water rafting, store and gift shop, restaurant and clean grounds. The place was really well run and the staff made you feel at home and made sure you had everything you needed. Kim and Bill were an amazing and kind couple that welcomed our family and made us feel at home. They went out of their way daily to check on us and to ask if we needed anything. This is a must stay if you are ever in this area. I hope to go again some day. This is a wonderful place run very well by Kim and Bill and their staff.

We just checked out today and we are already missing it! Even before we got there the service was great. I called to see if we could upgrade to a cabin with a river view and she was able to move things around to make it work! When we got there and checked into our cabin we were so excited. It was so clean and cozy! Just adorable. They have several precautions in place to be extra safe from Covid-19, like contactless check in, making an appointment for laundry and wearing masks in the lobby/store. While I understand it can be a little frustrating to have to make an appointment to do laundry, I realize they are taking these precautions to protect everyone and to be able to stay open! We just loved our stay and hope to come back soon.

It was a nice sky from my tent this morning!

I'm tent camping here. The spots are small, parking tight, noise from distance machinery hums all night, I was working on my laptop in the lounge because Wifi is zero in the campground. The lights suddenly went out. A man said we're close now. I asked him to turn the lights on so I can pack, he reluctantly did so. Why couldn't they just announced it and then I could have pack up. I was sent to the unlit no power outlet picnic tables outside. Generally people here seem rude. Verizon cell service here is one bar, internet in only slightly better. Update, not all the employees are rude, the guy that threw me out of the lounge was more polite the next night, front desk is friendly and helpful. Prices were better a week after the Eclipse. Facilities were clean and well maintained, there were outlets near the tent site for kitchen cleanup. My biggest gripe is the lack of WiFi and poor cell voice and data in the campground near the river that was necessary to plan my trip back home.

    Deluxe cabin - so awesome!

My husband and I spent 3 nights here post-Yellowstone on our honeymoon. What a great little place! We splurged for the deluxe cabins which are like new and so awesome! Ours had a very comfortable bed, extra room with another bed and bunked which we didn't need/use, full bathroom with shower and kitchen area with mini-fridge, sink cabinets etc. and a nice size flat screen tv with DirecTV cable. They will also clean your room/give fresh linens upon request. The KOA property is literally ON a gorgeous and fishable stretch of the Snake River. We had a blast. The neighbors and staff were all friendly and pleasant. The only downside is that you are about 15mins south of downtown Jackson Hole. If you plan to visit Teton Natl Park, it's a little hike but very scenic. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility!!!

    "Kamping"Studio Cabin

This review is for the kamping studio. We didn't use the shared bathrooms so I have no comment on those. The RV and camping sites seem to be very close to one another. Picture parking your RV in a dirt parking lot. Campsite down by the river seem decent, but a bit of a walk to restrooms. Again we didn't camp so no real review of those sites. My husband, 2 yr old son and I stayed here in June 2011. The kamping studio was great. Based on a sticker in the cabinet I am going to say this cabin was about 2 months old. So it was very clean and everything was nice and new. This place can easily sleep 5 people with a full bed in the main room and a full bed on the lower bunk and twin bed in the top bunk in the other room. The bathroom even had a hairdryer so there is no roughing it here. Plus there is heat and AC. So we were quite comfortable. The good: New cabin. Large new gas grill outside with a burner so while there is no cook top inside you can easily use the grill burner to cook. Picnic table and fire ring outside. The staff in the store are very nice and helpful. The bad: The cabins are VERY close to one another. If you stand with your arms stretched out between two cabins you can almost touch both. So there is not much privacy and no real views from the cabin.

We had a nice patch of grass and fire ring (we were in spots 60 and 61, and the space between was one of the nicer ones), but some of the grassy areas weren't quite as big. The sites were definitely a bit cramped, but no better or worse than most of the bigger RV parks we've stayed at close to busy destinations. The bathrooms were always clean when we used them, and we ran into the cleaners on a few different occasions so they were taking care of things. We were able to recycle, which is great -- not all campgrounds offer that. We were 7-10 minutes outside of Jackson, which was great for us. There's a bike/running path that runs through most of Jackson that's right across the road, and that was nice for a safe place to run in the mornings. It was expensive, but we've found that all things are in Jackson, and we liked the quiet atmosphere here and the proximity to both town and the Tetons. The only thing we wished they had told us was that North Moose Wilson Road is closed to RVs and trailers from a bit north of the campground to the park. We came from Yellowstone, so that was the route that our GPS wanted to take us, and it isn't a possibility with a trailer. We have a little teardrop camper (T@B Little Guy) so we were able to turn around easily to go the long way instead, but our friends with a larger RV had trouble turning around. I feel like that should be something they communicate to you when you are reserving an RV spot.

No stove, but that was fine by us. They provided a grill outside, which we used to grill some brats one night. The rest of the time, we just used my Coleman stove and cooked on one of the picnic tables outside our cabin. The staff here were so friendly and helpful, which I've found to be a trend in Jackson in general. Every night, they would come around and light a campfire (a gas campfire) for us, which was lots of fun to sit around and enjoy. The campground itself is very well maintained, it was super clean and pretty. The layouts of the cabins made it really easy to chat and connect with others staying at the campground, since we all shared a common area to cook and sit by the fire. Overall, I really really enjoyed this place. It's a great price (comparatively) if you're looking to visit Jackson/the Tetons but avoid the super high prices of places you may find located right in Jackson. We fished yesterday and I made my displeasure clear several times on the water and off that we were here to catch fish not just take a pleasure rafting trip. I assume he either didn't tell the proprietor or they don't care as they've had yesterday afternoon/evening and all morning today to reach out (it's now noon the following day). Given the crickets, I'm now writing this review. Initially I spoke with Brian on the phone and he put me at ease as did their online reviews. After finding out that we wanted to catch fish and have views he recommended the Snake River for a full day session. Admittedly he said it was one of the final days for fishing the Snake as the water would be rising later this week, but that we would still be good. We shouldn't expect champion trophies as that was another river, but it would still be plenty of cutt-throat Troutt and a lot of fun with an insane view. Typically 2 out of 3 ain't bad, but given we were there for fish, the view and fun only equate to 1 Star. Admittedly we got 1 bite the entire 6+ hours and I reeled it in so we didn't get completely skunked, but I could have saved half the money and just done the scenic raft tour twice as that's effectively what we received. - 5 stars: fishing guide + 5 stars: equipment + 5 stars: views + 5 stars: fun on the river + 2 stars: education (based on expectation set by other reviews) We had Ian and he was a nice guy and overall we had a good trip with some laughs. I like the guy personally and other than catching fish, we had a great time on the river. However, he admitted at the beginning of the day that this was only his 3rd official outing this year on the Snake and later that he had never personally fished from the groups fishing holes. Neither are good signs as both caused alarm. He didn't know where the fish were biting and it seemed clear that this is not his normal fishing area. That's an absolute first for a fishing guide and not a good first. When you're paying this type of money for a fishing guide you should expect them to be intimately familiar with the water and be able to put you on fish. That was most definitely NOT the case. He clearly knows fly fishing and there definitely was some education, but nothing like what was described by other reviewers. I caught on almost immediately and received a few solid tips from him as he mainly focused on helping my wife. We're both first timers, but were quickly casting to specific areas he would point out and following whatever instruction he gave to improve our odds. I think he really tried to help us catch and even verbalized his frustration a few times at us getting skunked, but at the end of the day, it's his job and the reason we pay the hefty fee, for him to know all the honey holes and where the fish are biting today. Did I mention it was our 20th wedding anniversary and we chose to fish for the day? The Good: Ian is a nice guy who loves Fly Fishing They have good equipment and handle all the details They have a cool spot/camp off the river that's a great place to relax and have your lunch The Snake views are stunning In the first 5 minutes we saw a moose, a marmont and was almost boarded by a beaver The Bad: Doesn't know where to find fish on the Snake Doesn't fish this river enough to know where they are biting Isn't a fishing guide at least for this river Bottom line: if you don't care about catching fish and just want to have a good time with great views, then this is the school/guide for you.
