There are on occasion some sketch people that wander on in or are doing their laundry but sometimes those things are unavoidable and after a while they leave. My only gripe is the payment system they use for the machines. You have to use a card that you load money on and sometimes the card readers don't work or the machine(s) are down so you're queuing behind a line of people to load money. In 20 minutes she: swept, dusted all the dyers, cleaned front of washing machines, wiped down the tables, moped, and organized the laundry carts. The only thing she didn't do was wipe down the chairs---I'm being picky. Anywho, the place is clean, there are multiple priced washing machines ranging from $3.75--$10.25. And the dryers are .25 for 4 min. There are 6 chairs to sit that look clean, vending machines for soap, change machines, and you can pay for each machine with a credit card and plenty of parking. Oh and ready for this? Not a single machine that's Out of Order!!!

I didn't realize that they're closed on Sundays and I completely missed getting it last Saturday. I don't reside in Hayward but was staying in a hotel in the vicinity for about a week. I work in the airport (usual 8:00-4pm grind) so it's quite a trip for me to cross San Mateo bridge in the rush hour traffic. Of course, I also didn't ask if they have modified hours with COVID. Apparently, even if the receipt says open M-F 8am-6pm, they're only open through 5pm. Understandable. This is why I'm super thankful for the lady for going above and beyond. She even said don't worry about it drive safe and I'll wait for you until 5:30. Whew, I barely made it but got there around 5:20pm. She also made sure I check if I have everything I need. But recently I needed a last minute dress altered and wow I was so impressed. I felt bad that it was so late on timing but he squeezed me in and did an amazing job. The length was exactly as I wanted. Long but not touching the ground. My dress never got dirty while wearing from how perfect the length was. I received so many compliments on the dress all night! Will always come here for alterations but next time will provide more time.
