Ugh I hate to write this review but at this point, I'm pretty peeved. I haven't been to this laundromat in maybe 6 months and since then, I SWEAR their prices have changed. Making laundry more expensive. The giant dryers are .25 for 3 minutes. Yes you read that right. Also, when I went to the spot where you can get cash back, the assistant told me that it was an extra $1 fee if the cash back is over $20?? I thought I mis read their notice for the service fee, which is stated that it's $1 per transaction. read more

I hve been coming to Launderlux for many yearrs. Obivously I am a well satisfied cuxtomer. The staff is welcoming and professional. Because of my schedule, I don't have time to do my own laundry. Launderlux has been a blessing. I dropped of my laundry and the following day I will get a text and a email telling me my laundry is ready for pickup. If you tell them about stains on your laundry, they will do their best to remove them. Everything is folded and smelling clean. The price is fair for the great service. I personally guarantee you will be very satisfied with the service. read more

I didn't think I'd have to leave a bad review here because this place has always been fairly clean and in order (despite the fact that it doesn't have a sink for general use outside of the bathroom). I'm even willing to look past the wads of gum stuck in nearly every dryer it seems, as well as the increase in prices, and the prevalence of many machines that still only take coin as opposed to credit card there. No, the issue that really was the deciding factor here was trust. I mentioned many coin op machines here, and indeed those are most of what I used - I spent $7.80 on a 4-load washing machine here, and that was the only one I used that took credit card. All other machines (as well as both dryers I used) were coin op. As I was paying my credit balance today, I noticed that in addition to the $7.80 charge, Launderlux had placed a separate charge for $40.00, for no apparent reason. I spoke to a banker explaining that the charge was not approved, and they informed me that this means the vendor has retained my credit information and was free to make unsolicited charges at their leisure!! Due to this, my card was compromised, and I am now forced to cancel this account and re-coordinate all monthly payment arrangements that I had on the card. All this at 1AM on a work night. Based on this, it is with regret that I say that Launderlux is not to be trusted. Which is too bad; they were a pretty clean and convenient laundromat to go to, depravity aside. read more

I decided some time back that since I don't have a washer and dryer at my place, that getting my clothes washed and folded was my best option. Sure, I could save a bit of money if I went here and did it myself, but the convenience price is well worth it for me. They have a Wednesday wash and fold special that costs much less than their normal price. For a decent sized load, it is like $20-25. If I drop it off in the morning, I can pick it up later that evening. Drop off in the afternoon, and it is ready the next day. Employees are all very nice and seem happy to work there. Place has televisions, food, drinks and fun stuff for kids. They keep it pretty clean as well. read more

Came here to do laundry, they didnt have a lot of seating options, only one outlet in the entire place, and the wash could only be paid by card or quarter. I normally wouldn't mind, but its $5 and something cents for a wash. It literally said "enter 22 quarters" or something. Thats so excessive. If you pay card it charges you $40 deposit first. PROS: its VERY clean and free wifi. It also wasnt super crowded on Tuesday evening Definitely going to try another place. read more

This is my first time here. I haven't been to laundromat in many years, because I have my own washer and dryer. Couple days ago our washer stopped working and while we're in the process of fixing it I decided to come here. I was very impressed on how clean this place is. Years ago I used to go to my local laundromat in SJ , and i hated it bc the place wasn't maintained well , it was crowded, no AC, and it was dirty and that's usually the norm for many laundromats. But I was in awe of this one, considering where it's located, it felt very lux, clean , and I was greeted upon entering. so it definitely lives up to its name. I've been coming here for years since their grand opening. The staff knows me pretty well they are great and always willing to help. The prices have gone up significantly and the dryers won't operate unless you put 4 quarters in to start that's fairly new too. My complaint is they have raised the prices and cut the water pressure lower in the washers and cut the mins for the dryers. The dryers aren't working as great as they used to. I don't think the workers or the owner is cleaning the lint out of the dryers as often as they should. Wish they would do better because I like coming here for location and cleanliness. I have to start going elsewhere for better machines and cheaper pricing. read more

This is one of the most clean laundry places I have been to staff are always cleaning and keeping things nice while also respecting your space and not being over barring. Came in on a Sunday and this place was crackin. Parking lot is a bit small but managed to find some street parking. Lots of people here but there was no shortage of machines. Place is kept up well and change machine up front. Seating area to watch TV and an attendant who was walking through and keeping things orderly with a smile. I've used the wash and fold service in Hayward several times now and have been very happy with their results so far. Always professional and fast (they state a 24 hour turnaround, so always assume as much, but each time they've been done same day (I also drop off early in the morning.)) I had to adult real quick because my washer was under some repair. I discovered the 8-load washer and dryer. I felt rewarded and equally relieved that I didn't have to multiply the labor or double the time when everything I wanted cleaned went into one fantastic load! The place was clean, modern, and, if you look closely, some accepted credit cards. I can be a bit of a clean freak and had no gripes or qualms about the sanitation. I live in a complex which has its own laundry room, but machines here don't even wash and dry that well, wasted money. I saw this place on Yelp with great reviews (and yes, I based a lot of things on reviews. Thank you Yelpers!) and thought to give it a chance. First impression, very very clean! Washer and dryer are great, and last impression, the staff! The staff here are great! They're friendly and very helpful. I especially love how they keep this place tidy and clean at all times. This is my go to and should be your go to laundromat too! My 2nd part of my review is the wash and fold service. I've been so busy I literally don't have time to wash. I was skeptical at first doing a wash and fold service. Worried clothes wouldn't be clean to my expectations, but I had no choice and was in need of a wash. Of course as expected, staff was helpful. I picked up my wash the next day. While putting clean laundry away I smelled each one (lol), everything smelled fresh fully clean, even the towels! And the whites we're white again! The best part of this - I never knew I left my CC in my one of pants pocket, never knew it was even missing. When I picked up my wash, I was told they found it in the pocket. That's HONEST service right there! I'm really glad I found this place for my personal laundry and also for the wash and fold service. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF!!! read more

My favorite laundromat in the area. I always use this spot after camping and when it's time to wash my bedding. It's incredibly clean inside which makes me feel better about folding my things on the folding tables and when I accidentally drop a sock on the floor. The location has parking, attendants to help with any issues or sell you products, a clean restroom, wifi, and great hours! There's many different machines to choose from varying in size and some even accept debit card. I will continue coming to Launderlux for all my big wash days. read more

The convenience of this laundromat is what keeps me coming back. The washers seem a little bit on the pricey side, but I love how I can just use my debit card to swipe for a wash or dry. I also appreciate how clean this laundromat is, and how the staff onsite are responsive, attentive, and consistent. This laundromat gets really busy in terms of people and cars, but there's always a machine available. The patrons of this laundromat seem to look out for each other - there's always people helping other people, which I love. The only con about writing a positive review of this place is knowing it might become more popular. Please don't come when I'm here! Location: Corner of A Street. & Grand Street. Great facility and clean environment. Security cameras installed. Very impress with how well taken care of the machines are. Restrooms are cleaned-Must ask Attendant for access to prevent loitering. Machines all work, I dont get that feeling my clothes are going to come out with more stains than the went in with. Everything you need is available. Attendants are friendly and helpful. Advise on weekends-Get here early if planning on using the 30 lbs to 40 lbs Load Machines. Dryers gets filled up quickly. I have told them more than once when I drop off or pick up my laundry for wash and fold that they are doing God's work here. I have 3 children and the wash and fold service saves my life. For me, it is more than worth the price of admission for the time that I get back for not having to fold laundry for my brood. This place is super clean. The machines are strong and the staff are great. They have wed wash and fold specials that include 1. 10 per pound and $15 per large items (comforters and blankets). I came on a Friday afternoon and there was a young lady staff working here she was so sensitive and very sweet and helpful. Identify as queer with a masculine of Center gender expression and when I asked to use the restroom she was very sensitive and asked me which restroom I prefer (reasons to have gender neutral) my heart was warm lol I will be back. read more
