The laundry mat I usually go to with this really sweet Asian couple who owns it were closed (MIMIS laundromat) give it a try, they welcome all races here no matter what. I asked the lady how to get a card because I only had change and she yelled at me loud and said "HOW MUCH" I told her and then she snatched the money from my hand aggressively and said "I SAID HOW MUCH". She gave me a card and when I went to the dryer I put the card in but I didn't see the way to increase the time, I knew I was going to have to go back and ask another question and I was truly scared !!! I walk back over and she's eating corn on the cob in the window looking at me as I'm talking to her and completely ignored my question even tho I was standing right in front of her. The other lady was sitting down and I thought I would have better luck but nope. I asked her how to increase the time and she yelled at me too "WHICH ONE?! I SAID WHICH ONE" I tried to smile at her, nothing. I know racism when I come across it. She was looking at me with disgust. I took a picture of them both !!! Talk about corn on the SNOB!!!!!!! I found Lee's to be very clean with lots of machines. Note that they use a Lee's money card instead of cash.

I've come off and on here for the past couple years when I lived in Castro Valley and now in Hayward. I only come here to wash my comforters and blankets since my washer isn't big enough. But every-time I come here it's clean, the machines work and are big and the workers are pleasant to assist you if needed. There are on occasion some sketch people that wander on in or are doing their laundry but sometimes those things are unavoidable and after a while they leave. My only gripe is the payment system they use for the machines. You have to use a card that you load money on and sometimes the card readers don't work or the machine(s) are down so you're queuing behind a line of people to load money. But overall it's good place and I continue to come back. read more

The first couple times we came here. It was OK, but this last time we came. The clothes didn't dry, and we didn't get our money back and the lady who was here. Didn't help us at all. She was kind of rude. She doesn't have a good customer service. She kicked us out with my close still wet and we were here 2 hours before they closed I put my close in to dry for 40 minutes and it was still cold to the touch. It's been awhile since the incident, but I felt it was important to leave a review. The facility itself is clean and has a lot of machines, which is why I chose to come here. Unfortunately, one night my laundry was stolen after I briefly stepped away (which I admit was my mistake). When I approached the only employee working at the time for help, she was extremely rude and dismissive. Despite clearly visible security cameras, she didn't offer to check them or even let me leave my contact information in case someone had accidentally taken my laundry and came back. Instead, she gave me attitude and then disappeared into the back, never returning -- leaving me with no way to talk to her more and try to leave my number. The lack of basic courtesy and support was really disappointing, especially during such a situation. read more

The lady that's always there yelled at me while I was inside of my car. This was at 10:15 pm. I didn't know she was speaking to me until I saw she turned off the lights. I was with my baby and husband in the car. His clothes was almost done, it only needed five more minutes. I asked her what time they closed because I go sometimes and they close at 11 pm and the sign on the door says 11. She said at 10 and when I asked why the sign says 11 she said that at 11 we all need to be out. I asked her for the managers phone number and she drove away. I also asked the other man working there and he said he didn't know the managers phone number. I took pictures of them closing the doors at exactly 10:15 pm. The lady also took out a customers clothes and gave it to her outside at that time. I was in Union City temporarily for 2 months. I found this laundromat on Yelp & in comparison to others, found the best reviews. It was worth the drive to Hayward. It is extremely clean & the owners? have been here every time I've come. They are constantly cleaning the entire laundromat & the equipment. Wouldn't go anywhere else, even hotel guest laundry isn't this clean! (They also have different sizes & equipment, such as top & front loading washers, & various sizes of both washers & dryers to choose from; all very well up kept.) read more

I truly enjoy this laundry mat , the lady who is here in the morning she is always so sweet & helpful! I have been going to laundry mats for a few years & this is the cleanest & biggest one in the area! They have so many washers & dryers ! The only thing I dislike is that sometimes the machines kind of smell so I have to spray extra Lysol but I honestly think they should be deep cleaning them at least 2 x's a week . This location is very clean, seen someone cleaning the whole time I was there. Location is big! Parking is scarce. You have to get a card to use the machines ($1) I'm not too fond of this because am I really going to come back here?! This was my first time using this laundry mat and I can say They are continuously cleaning the laundromat as you're doing your laundry. They're sweeping wiping down machines they also have a little area where you can purchase laundry soap they have vending machines in the back with snacks, water even extra plastic bags for your laundry they also have tvs to watch sporting event , they have extra parking in the back around the side and in the front of the plaza there's also a café in the front the plaza it's really nice and clean i'm also familiar with that area as well. This whole area has gone way downhill over the last couple years. Way too many druggies and loonies roaming around and hassling customers for money to buy more drugs with. One time, I bought a bottle of tide and set it down a machine to grab something from my car just to have it go missing in the five minutes I was gone. Extending the fence from the dumpster corral all the way to the main entrance would be a huge help in cutting down on the amount of wrong people coming through, but until that happens, I'm going to go to a different place by the Carl's Jr that's got a reasonably enclosed parking lot. read more

Open 7am-9pm during Covid 19. Last wash at 8pm. This is a very large and pretty clean laundry mat. Employees walking around cleaning, mopping and refilling bathroom toilet paper. A patron was asking for toilet paper while I was scoping out the place. I went her to wash my rugs and towels and found a larger sized washer for $8.95 to do one load with room for more. Washer worked well, I should of brought my better laundry soap. Since I was washing rugs I brought my cheap clearance soap. Dryer worked well. Uses a Card system with bonus of $2 if you load $20. Free WiFi, snack machines in the back, laundry necessities sold at front counter or trial/ travel sizes in dispenser. Seats for people to sit in the front and back of laundry mat. Ample parking in the front with lots of laundry carts available to use. Only thing, be aware of your surroundings, seems to be in a sketchy area, people hanging around in front, someone further back fixing his car. Just minded my own business, locked up my car and Parked close since I had my doggy with me. Overall I do prefer FREMONT location better as it is closer to my work and on the way home. read more

So rude and disrespectful!!!! I came to wash my dogs bed and this is what i come back to and i'm pretty sure one of the workers did it. As soon as i walked over to the machine a worker comes up to me and im holding the bed like WTF??? she tells me i need to use the fast washer next time mind you I was only washing it because of the smell!!! and nothing else in there was dirty it's like they just got out the bed and wiped FN dust on it. It had no stains at all and this is wtf i get back after PAYING TO WASH HERE ??? As a paying customer this is so disappointing & for them to act so lost and confused is crazy and she just walked away. I've been here twice already and it's been a good experience both times i went. First time i came was because i was running late to work and i needed my clothes to be dried still and they had this huge dryer there and in a hour my clothes were ready. 2nd time i went was to wash and dry. There's a variety of sizes of washers and dryers. Everything very clean. The owner keeps maintains it well. All the machines work great. It's not expensive at all here. The owner also sells laundry detergent,softener and more. When you come here you have to buy a washing card that you can reload with cash there. They have a ATM and a bill exchanger. The owner lady is very helpful and friendly and i feel like that matters a lot as well. They even have a seating area and vending machines. They also have a machine and coin games for kids. It's a very large space. They have a good amount of parking space too. If you need some where to wash come here :) there is a shopping center across the street and right next to the laundromat is a food place incase you get hungry or want some coffee in the morning :) read more

This is the cleanest laundry spot I've ever been to. There are workers who are always tidying up and maintaining machines. There's a bathroom and it's always clean. You don't need to bring tons of quarters because they use a laundry card. But you do need cash to load your card. There's an ATM but sometimes on busy days it runs out of money. There's a shop inside where you can buy pods, powder, softener, extra bags, etc. Workers are friendly and helpful. There are vending machines and tables to sit while you wait. There's giant machines for extra big loads (great for a family of 5 lol). And long tables for folding. On busy weekends the machines along the perimeter are all being used but there's smaller washers in the middle aisles that no one thinks to use. Overall the best one I've been to. One con is that one day our clothes had black marks all over them. I thought maybe one of the kids left a marker or something but I never found the source of the mysterious marks. Then recently my daughter saw the same black marks on her friend's clothes LOL and they both realized they did laundry at the same place. So I guess it was the machine not us lol. I LOVE coming here to do my laundry! The card system they have is super convenient. This place is alway clean. There is a good number of washers and dryers and it seems like there's always one open. Their hours are great for those who are night owls and like to do laundry at night! One of the associates saw that we were having trouble putting more time on one of the dryers and was kind and dedicated enough to help (bc it took her several tries to get more). The owner is great. Very nice man. Had one very disturbing incident where another dude placed his clothes in with mine. Then he accuses me of putting my clothes in HIS dryer! Starts throwing all my clothes at me and when I called Mr. Lee on my cell, he scurried away. Sad world we are in now. Nice and big laundromat convinently located in a big plaza. This place is huge, can possibly handle a week worth of clothes from an entire military base lol. They use their own card system for payment which is super neat, no more trying to dig out quarters from the black hole under my seat. Super friendly staff who's always willing to help. My washer works, but my dryer doesn't, so I only go to laundromats to use their dryers. My sister was surprised I came here bc we usually go to the one next to our house, but Lee's is SUPPOSEDLY open to 11pm, n we were running late on errands so Lee's it was. My sister said she came once n the lady was annoying asf! She said she was rushing my sister n even opened up the dryer n was feeling my sister's clothes to see if it was almost dry so she could close up shop. I was surprised! I said, "she touched your clothes?" She said, "yeah, i was annoyed. I told her I will take care of my clothes," but she said, "i just checking to see if it's almost dry." That had me irritated! N when I walked up at 10pm, there was a worker standing at the door n said, "No come in. Too late." First off, slow your role bc you don't know wtf i got. I told him I was only using the dryer. N he said ok come in. We put 2 loads in for 30 mins n 1 for 40 mins bc they were blankets. We got in the car n the time was 1010pm. We went to wash my car but i made sure to be back before 1045, which we were. We pulled up at 1041, n the lady was sitting in her mini van outside of the front doors. She got out n said, "We waiting for you. Your wash finished already. You need to hurry!" (Tapping her wrist like she was wearing a watch). I said, "my wash has about 5 mins left. It's still going. Look, it's still on." She said, "really?" Shrugged her shoulders n got back into the passenger seat looking at her phone. We went n grabbed our clothes annoyed at her rushing us. **BTW, 40 mins n my blankets were still damp. Sorry dryers** I came out n asked her... Me: what time do you guys close? 1030 or 11? Her: I wait for you. Me: No, you close at 11, right? So why are you rushing me when I pulled up at 1041? If you wanna go home early, you need to change your time to close earlier. Her: we no change time. Me: I pulled up at 1040 n you were rushing me before I even got out of my car. Her: No, I didn't. Me: Yes, you did. You told me my wash was finished n that you're waiting for me. I looked inside n saw my wash still going. You got 20 minutes before you're supposed to close anyway! My mom and I always go here when it's time to do a BIG laundry haul. We actually have a washer and dryer at home but not big enough to wash our thick comforters and bed sheets. They have there huge washer and dryers that can fit up to 7-8 large bed comforters all at once. 1 load wash costs about 14.95 for 1/2 hour time approximately but it's well worth the time you save. They also have huge dryers that can fit the same size load, you can fit an adult sized person in there which costs about $1.50 per cycle. read more

I don't do roaches, man. I had been going to this laundromat on and off for more than a decade. It is so spacious, there are plenty of machines and having 3 doors stops it from getting super hot inside. Then I came on an off day when it wasn't as busy and I saw a roach crawl out from one of the machines. I had a loud response. The woman next to me says, "yea, there are always roaches. I see at least one every time I come." I didn't really believe her because I had never seen one before. So I move to another machine and I kid you not, I see another roach crawling on top of the other machine. I haven't been back since. Finding another laundromat that was as good as this one has been a struggle. I miss this place. But not enough to risk a roach crawling into my clean clothes and coming home with me. I wish, hope and pray that they get an exterminator out there so I can come back. read more

The owners really seems to care about this place. Also there a fan/air conditioning running all day, keeps the place cool. The place is constantly being cleaned by staff and the staff are helpful. This laundromat is huge and probably the biggest I have been to. There are lots of well everything, carts, machines, places to fold your clothes and most of all the place is really clean as they mop the floors quite a bit. One thing that is bad is the trash cans are hidden, the people tend to leave the carts outside so getting a laundry cart can be tricky. I wish they took credit cards to refill your card as an option, but I guess cash is the king since I am sure it has tight margins for profit. The prices are pretty decent as the prices ranges from $2.00,to $8 dollars. You can wash your comforters as well which can probably cost you an arm and leg. The machines are alright. Super clean!!! I normally do my laundry at home, but my washer is smaller than I prefer and when I have to wash my big blankets and comforters, this is my place to go. I am always afraid of going to a laundromat that's dirty, but this place far exceeds my expectations. Try to go during non peak hours though, because they get packed on the weekends. The PLUS SIDE is that they have all sizes of washers, even the super big ones, which I love because I can just toss all my large items in one washer and it fits perfectly! This place is my new go-to laundry spot. There are plenty of machines but this place can easily fill up as everyone does all of their laundry last minute (me included!). Parking can also be a bit of a problem because there are also two other Lee stores that share the lot (probably owner by the same Lee), a cafe and a dollar store of sorts. This place is always clean as you can always see the attendants cleaning to pass time. The bathroom is also pretty clean and is gender neutral. If you need a snack or drink there are also a few vending machines in the back. Tips for newcomers: Go to the VTM machine and get a new laundry card, don't put your credit card in the machine and look like a doofus who just discovered fire. This place does cash reloads only but there is an ATM in the building if you don't mind the small fee. Odds are, this is the best place in Hayward to do laundry.
