What a huge mistake that ended up being. The food was typical Sonic food, but the attitude of the young carhop was ridiculous. One order of popcorn chicken was forgotten, the blue slushie had a hole in the bottom and was leaking all over, and there wasn't a single napkin in the bag. When we pushed the button to let them know of our problems, she said, "It should be in the bottom of the bag." Correct. It *should* be but isn't. Everyone else had finished eating so I got out to throw their stuff away (as well as the slushie that I was afraid to throw out because I figured she'd accuse me of lying). I figured while I was out, I would ask for napkins again. She went inside, walked past me four times to deliver two orders so I asked again if I could please get napkins to wipe of the slushie that had leaked all over my car. She stormed back inside, grabbed napkins, and handed them to me while rolling her eyes. Several minutes later, she stomped over to our car, literally threw the popcorn chicken into our car, and stomped off as if WE had done something wrong. The whole ordeal took FORTY minutes!!! So much for a quick stop! The only positive that I'll add is that there was a confrontation between an adult man and a Sonic worker named Austin. We weren't sure what was going on, but it seemed as if the man's son was being threatened by a Sonic employee. We *think* both boys work there. The dad was (rightfully) upset over what was happening to his kid, and Austin did a great job at de-escalating and problem solving with the dad. I hope his son is okay!
