Cheeseburger and hand cut fries. Delicious!!
    Beth B.

Just went again tonight. The regular cheeseburger and hand cut fries were amazing! And just what I needed I tried to eat just half of this one half pound burger, but ended up eating the whole thing. The fries are so good too. Really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This owner knows what he's doing. Spoke to a FedEx worker who was there eating and she kept telling a staff member how good her meal was. I asked her what she got and she said it was the special which was a Cajun fried cod sandwich. She kept going on and on about it. I'm gonna try this next time they offer it! The FedEx lady also raved about what they call a thick chip which I believe is a waffle potato chip. She said it was even better than their fries, which is hard to believe. They also offer those as specials.

oh we had to try a few things. The place was crowded so we got our order to go! Friendly staff and quick to help. The food obviously tasted home made. Crumble burger? Can you say Medrite? But there was a different seasoning. Not sure what it was. We ordered 2 of the Big burgers one with Chili one without!! Yummy! Only complaint is I thought the Chili dog had barely a tablespoon of chili? So maybe a fluke. Finished with a Strawberry shake that was fabulous. This will definitely become a favorite go to of ours!!

2 Stars would have been at least 4, if.... A big IF, and I will explain, but first a little about Dubs. Located off the beaten path in Red Bank a cute little place. The order window was very colorful as were the homemade ice cream sandwiches the gal was wrapping up. Yum yum. Everything was clean and well organized and the dining area reminiscent of a 50's style drive in with a big fan, stop light, license plates and paper towel rolls hanging throughout. We came specifically for beef hot dogs and I had read somewhere that their foot long corn dog was also beef, as I do not eat pork. Upon placing our order I asked the gal at the counter if their corn dogs were beef. She went somewhere into the back, came back and said, "yes they are". So I ordered one. Once the food arrived, my friend's hot dog looked good, but very basic on flat pan with black and white checkered paper. Not even a basket. Same for my corn dog. Then I took a big bite into my corn dog, but it didn't taste like beef. I looked at it and it was more white than pink, and my tummy was already starting to churn. So I returned to the counter to ask again if it was beef or pork. She went into the back again and then the manager came out, looked at me and said it's a Frankfurter - "FRANKFURTER", she repeated then just turned around and walked away with no further explanation. I was astonished and asked the gal behind the counter. If that was all the manager was going to say or do. From the back I heard the same lady say in a very loud, abrupt voice, "I'm BUSY". I asked for the manager to return so we could try to come up with some type of resolution, and she WAS kind enough to come back out. . I then explained that I can't eat pork. She asked what else I would like and I told her a beef hotdog. When she brought my hotdog out, she did bring the difference in cash between the price of the hotdog and the corn dog, but that hardly helped me as a customer who could have been 100% satisfied if only I would have been treated with dignity and respect. So.... IF..... I only would have been treated respectfully and kindly, I might have returned in the future. But I doubt I will again.

I ordered a regular pork bbq sandwich and that Smokey flavor was delicious! My husband had the special, Italian sausage sandwich. He said it was fantastic. And listen, the fries look a little funny, but were some of the best ever!! We absolutely will be back! The service was friendly and fast! And the inside is cute as a bug!

Do you ever walk into a place and get reminded of someplace your nostalgic mind remembers from when you were a kid? Dub's Place is that kind of place! We come here for ice cream and shakes. Dub's soft serve cones are piled high; they really don't skimp on the ice cream and their cones are delicious! The strawberry shake is very thick. You'll need a spoon. You can add whipped cream and a cherry on top; then it's served without a lid. I wished the shake was a little stronger on strawberry flavor. It's missing that strong strawberry flavor I love in a shake. I suspect Dub's uses strawberries only. From experience of making my own strawberry concoctions, I've found using freeze-dried strawberries makes the strawberry flavor more prominent and delicious! My daughter had a peanut butter shake and -- same thing. The peanut butter in the shake was not very strong. Note to Dub's: You may want to try adding inexpensive freeze-dried strawberries to your your strawberry shakes! You won't be disappointed! I've tried their burgers and fries and they are pretty good, too. A little bit greasy for my tastes. Dub's is an inexpensive way to grab a quick snack or burger and fries.

This place is really really really good, super wish I had came here sooner than I did. Idk if everything they sell is homegrown from the ground up, but that's the vibe I get from the place and I love it. The tomatoes on the burgers don't absolutely ruin the entire experience for me like they usually do, which is really nice. The chicken tenders slapped, the employees are friendly, I enjoyed the fun layout of the place. I will be returning for sure

Still love this place. My boyfriend and I had to come back because he's been dreaming about the burger. I'm still obsessed with the foot-long corn dog. We also got milkshakes and they are awesome.

I was alone and asked for a quiet table in the back - I looked at the patio which was really nice and spacious, but it was about 95 degrees so I chose to sit inside due to that. I was seated at a nice booth alone with tons of space and a friendly waitress came to explain the menu to me and take my order. I had a mocktail made that was very good - and they only charged $5 for all mocktails which I appreciate. As a non-drinker it irritates me to pay $13-18 for juice that doesn't even have alcohol. I chose the house salad and it was by far the best I've ever had. Loaded with fresh veggies, delicious dressing, cheese and some breadcrumbs I think. Great size and portion for the price and fabulous combination of items. I chose the salmon with peaches and cream couscous. The salmon itself was wonderful - but that couscous was so good, I could not stop eating it. It had corn and fresh peaches and it was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. For dessert - I went with the Chocolate Bomb.com but found it to be wayyyyy too salty with the toffee, salt, and combo. I wish I'd gotten their famous cheesecake but, next time! Loved everything about this spot. Very elegant and no portion of my food wasn't clearly well planned and carefully prepared. Highly, highly recommend. The service is excellent; we are regulars and it's top tier every time. The ambiance, especially the bar area is beautiful and can feel somewhere between an elevated casual to mid-high end experience. Some things I'd like to see happen here: (1) a more true and robust brunch menu and please get an espresso machine, (2) brunch could use some live music and/or a dj (like a toned-down Stateside Kitchen vibe or a jazz trio--something--anything). The food is so good here, there is no reason this place shouldn't be absolutely packed on a Sunday.

Wound up at the aquarium for a couple hours and ended up hungry at the very end of it. Not far from where we were parked we found the Wooden City conveniently across from it all (dare I say a brisk walk's worth) with Mellow Mushroom and Ben & Jerry's establishments at both corners. We were given the options of staying inside or being placed outside and we chose (biased a lil) the opportunity of eating outside. We were taken care of accordingly by Jonathan, who is a perfect example of someone that makes tourism worth it, we chitchatted back-and-forth and came across some great options on our appetizers and drinks. While we waited for drinks, we were served water with ice as the weather outside was pleasant but a little too hot for the afternoon... When the appetizers arrived, we were greeted by not only demonstration, but taste above what I've had as of recent. Wife enjoyed the freshness of the tomatoes and cheese whilst I was mesmerized by how subtle and uber smooth my Old Fashioned was. We unwinded and talked about our day here in this city and then our next meal plates arrived. I had the very unique and well presented Beet Ravioli and the wife had the exquisite Spicy Lamb Rigatoni. Immediate upon arrival to our table my wife and I exchanged a bite of each other's plates to give a chance for our taste pallets to experience one another. The Beet Ravioli took back my wife to a time where she made something of similar taste and the Rigatoni took me back to California when I tasted something familiar then. Towards the end, I saved the location at the name of the restaurant, as I would like a near future to come back and visit with more time. Jonathan was an absolute help for our satisfaction in Chattanooga and we are thankful.

Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering. Parking in their main lot is pretty tight, but we didn't have much trouble finding street parking close by. The absolute standout here is the staff; they were incredibly friendly and completely johnny on the spot with getting our drinks out. We had our dog with us and quickly learned that pets aren't allowed inside or even on the regular inside patio, but they do have a small dedicated picnic table area out to the left for people with dogs. The staff was even nice enough to bring out a water dish for him, which was a really great touch. As for the food, you definitely get a plentiful amount for what you pay. We ordered the sampler platter--which comes with a massive pretzel, three little brats on buns, and kraut balls--as well as the Jager Schnitzel with sides of potato salad and spaetzle. The pretzel platter and the spaetzle were good, and the whole place has an awesome atmosphere that makes you want to hang out. I'd still absolutely recommend checking it out, just keep an eye on a couple of the food details. Cons: The jager dressing wasn't heated up enough, causing it to congeal on top of the pork loin and throw off the flavor, so it had to be scraped off. Also, the potato salad missed the mark completely--the potatoes were vastly undercooked, giving them a raw texture, and they were a dark color instead of a normal opaque white, showing that the potatoes used were going bad.
