Went for breakfast, did not see health score until after ordered, 88! Floor all around where food fixed all filthy, counters dirty, oil in floor. Filthy, filthy! He had gravy biscuit, (no sausage in gravy + watered down) I had ham biscuit. Ppl in restaurant asking for sausage to put in there gravy, my husband paid for his extra sausage! Did survey, young lady calls me -states "I just started in June, & yes we did come into a dirty restaurant from night shift, we cleaned as much as could before opening", not good enough!!! This is one of the few food places my dad and I saw on our way to Pell City so I'm sure they have great business. He got us fries and chicken sandwiches for lunch. I only ate the fries, and they were piping hot. Just the way I like them! He and his friend ate the chicken sandwiches which was so good to him that we went to another Jack's location for dinner too. They did not however give us a receipt so that I could scan my rewards in the app so I had to deduct a star unfortunately. read more

I am not someone who is strict on restaurants, especially fast food. But I've had this Jack's for over a decade and they get your order more wrong than right. I worked as a fast food cashier for years and the amount that they get your order wrong is insane. Working fast food is not that hard. I would say 8/10 times they have gotten the order wrong. And I'm not taking forgetting a ranch cup, I mean giving you an order that is 100% wrong. I understand that fast food jobs pay very little and it sucks, but it least TRY to get an order right. read more

I have been in a lot of fast food places but this place is a totally disaster! The restrooms were filthy nasty and the dining room and front register area was filthy nasty as well..The stinch in this place was overwhelming...How anyone would want to sit down and eat in this place is beyond me...Awful, the manager should be fired! This Jacks is really good when it's good and not so great when it's bad. They're hit or miss. I really wish they would go back to crumbling the sausage into the eggs for the breakfast burrito. Night shift is run by a bunch of kids. They need an adult to help close and keep things going. read more

I will never return here again. The place first and foremost is nasty! I went to the restroom when I arrived there is no toilet paper or napkins in there. I washed my hand and with dripping hand walked out In the lobby asked the manager (young guy who thinks he his hot) and 3 girls up front for napkins 3 times before I yelled I need to dry my hands can I please get some napkins there is none in the restroom. (No one ever went and put any in there so employees probably aren't washing their hands) then I asked for my replacement food where the same manager didn't know breast from thighs and he said oh your name is marked out so I can't give it to you. I said I haven't been here so I haven't picked it up where is the receipt that it gotten picked up? Most places staple it to the recovery log. He said I have no clue but I can't help you. Then walked back to the office. I was going to order food but all the workers were busy whispering about me because I walked out to my car to get my wallet and came back in to order. They wouldn't take my order. I will never come back to this place again because they are worried about talking to each other instead of helping the guest. read more

We visited Jack's in Ashville this morning. The grits were actually more water than grits. The lady behind the counter didn't even try to hide the fact that she was unhappy to be at work. She was just unfriendly, to say the least. The floors were soaking wet and people were having a hard time trying to walk around. I actually enjoy Jack's food, but I keep running into poor service and poorly cooked food. I'm bordering on finding a new breakfast and chicken restaurant. read more

there were flies every where - they gave us all 3 pc chicken tenders instead of 2 - 3 pc and 1- 4 pc .... the three chicken sandwiches were missing ingredients and they did not add the cheese I asked for on my sandwich. Horrible restaurant will not be going to a Jacks ever again! read more

The food is just as good as any other Jack's, and the staff seems friendly, however this has to be the slowest Jack's I've ever been to.

I am not a big fast food person, but I love Jacks Burgers, fried chicken and their new addition of the southern fried chicken sandwich. Also chicken fried steak and saw mill gravy is so good read more

I don't usually do reviews on fast food places, but Jack's is only found throughout mostly in Alabama. I felt like I should do my city some justice. Just keep in mind that Jack's is fast food and I'm rating it compared to other fast food burger places. Let me tell you about the good at Jack's. There are basically 3 items: biscuits, chicken fingers, and milkshakes. They have several choices of biscuits in the morning with my personal favorite being the smoked sausage one. I've never had a biscuit that was too hard or yucky from Jack's. The chicken fingers are tender and definitely not crunchy. They have their own special breading and you can choose BBQ, buffalo, or the comeback sauce. The comeback sauce is my favorite because it's like most chicken fingers places you go through like Raising Cane's, Guthrie's, Zaxby's sauce. I have not had a milkshake from Jack's yet but they make them homemade from Mayfield ice cream. They have a case of ice cream at the front of the store with several different flavors. And as of now, from 2 to 5pm, you can BOGO free milkshake. The french fries are ok...they have some kind of butter cheese seasoning on them that I don't care for. Stay away from the burgers. What Jack's does well - they do a pretty good job of it. I definitely prefer it compared to McDonald's, Burger King, etc. But the burgers from those places are a little bit better. read more

Normally, other than Sunday mornings, this place is pretty in and out. Such friendly staff. Not sure what the deal was tonight considering I sat in the same spot in the drive thru after ordering just for them to close the drive thru? went in to see what was going on and staff was just confused and running around and the place was full. not the norm but just unacceptable. read more

I really think they should consider rebranding the name and going with something that people could relate to better...maybe... 'Drive Through Sweet Tea Spot'. Ok, maybe that's too many words for a name and the abbreviation doesn't really sound great...or does it (DTSTS). Anyway, when I'm traveling anywhere the one thing I can count on is that if I'm thirsty and craving a sweet tea (seriously...everyone be quiet...it isn't a round the clock craving) these guys are consistent. From store to store they have the same flavor and sweet, sweet consistency. If you think about it that's a pretty tall task, considering the number of Jack's throughout the south. Think about it this way, how often do you grab a coffee at another fast food chain or maybe grab one at a gas station convenience store. How often is it mediocre good at best? Every time, Jack's gets it right. Plus as an adder, they don't have bad fast food, fries are seasoned good and burgers are some of the best you will get at a fast food joint. read more

Their salads are horrendous. I asked for certain things off the salad, but they said they were premade; however a friend of mine that works at Jacks said they are not. They also just sliced a whole chicken breast into big chunks and tossed them on top instead of properly chopping them. The workers are nice, but in general just very low quality salads. read more
