Have been treated here for three months and been treated with kindness, respect and attentiveness…read more Dr. Shen is thoughtful, very intelligent and professional. I have seen much improvement in a few sessions that doctors at renowned medical groups have not been able to help me with. It takes time and patience. Healing is possible for most people. He practices traditional Chinese acupuncture which is hard to find now a days with so many other practitioners practicing new types of acupuncture which have been modified from the ancient practices to suit progressive opinions. I was in the neighborhood and had a sore back so I called these folks up and made an appointment. I…read moreasked them over the phone whether they took Blue Cross Anthem PPO and they said yes. I showed up and showed them my card and they assured me they accepted my insurance, but since it was a Saturday, they would have to charge me the full $80 and would reimburse me the rest via check. I never received that check. When I called a month later to follow up, they said they don't take my insurance. I told them I never would've gone there if they had told me that from the beginning! Most every one takes Blue Cross PPO, but if they didn't, they could've simply told me so and I would've gone to virtually any other Chiropractor (as most take it). Instead, they took my money and deceived me. So as far as I'm concerned, this place is a total scam. I would give them zero stars, but that's not an option.

But, if you can get past that, and just chalk it up to some people are just offputting, the Dr is amazing. I saw him about 10 sessions for severe chronic sciatic pain/piriformis syndrome. I had tried everything, physical therapy, anti inflammatory medicine, muscle relaxers, steroid injection. Nothing ever helped, until I started receiving acupuncture treatment. This is literally the only thing that has ever worked, and it works extremely well. Trust me, I don't appreciate the poor customer service from the lady at the front (she's actually his wife) but if you are able to endure it (lol) and just let it go, it will be the best decision you've ever made! Especially if you suffer from chronic pain. It's worth it!

Not sure if it's from sleeping, the gym, golf or all of the above, but ibuprofen and Tylenol haven't helped nor has my handheld massager at home. A massage helped a little but I wanted to try something different to see if I could get relief quicker. Dr. Saleh is very knowledgeable and personable. He's quick with placing the needles, so before I knew it all needles were in, the tens machine was hooked up and I laid on the table for 30 minutes that way. He finished the treatment with a machine that helped break up the knots. All in all the treatment helped, but will require a couple more visits to ultimately fix my issue.
