Great surgeon BUT horrible office!! My elderly mother who is a stroke victim and non-verbal was referred to him for a knee replacement. This required multiple office visits and every time we would go we would have to wait over an hour to see him! One time was an hour and a half and she fell asleep in her wheel chair! Anyway, Mom had the surgery and all was well but when I took her back for the follow up I was told that the dr had an emergency surgery and that her appt had been rescheduled for today (Monday). I told them I was never called and asked what number they called, they told me they called my non-verbal mom's number. I said she doesn't speak and I thought you had already changed it to my number since I'm the one who takes her to all of her appointments. She said oh yes, I see your number now, sorry. I said no problem, we'll be back on Monday) I live in Escalon, mom lives on the other side of Modesto. But today was the last straw, I was THIS close to losing my cool!! Her appt was 1:30, we get there at approximately 1:25. The reception checks her in and tells us that Dr Cash is running late from surgery and is 20-30 min behind. I should have known this was BS since we've never gotten seen short of an hour but anyway I take her word for it. They take two people back so I figure he's here now. 2:15 comes around and another patient comes in to check in and the receptionist tells him the exact same thing that she told us! At this point it's already 45 min past her appt. At 2:25 they open the door and call mom's name, I ask the nurse if dr cash was in the building and she says no. I asked when they expected him and she said, I have no idea. I said well then were leaving, this is ridiculous. She said oh, you're going to reschedule? I said heck no! We're never coming back. You have no respect for people's time and I'm sick of it! As we left the door I heard the front office receptionist say big and loud "BUH-BYE!" I was shocked and didn't even know how to respond in a way that I wouldn't be leaving in the back seat of a cops car! I slammed the door .
