This place is great on a specials night - beer and cocktails are cheap and they have some good food specials. We went on a World Series night to watch the game and I liked the setup. There are 2 large TVs where you can sit in the stands (set up like bleachers) and they also have some smaller tvs with single tables. We opted for the single tv for some privacy. We ordered the birria tacos which were surprisingly really good, and their wings and fries. The fries were the perfect fast food fry (think Mcdonald's). I wish the tacos had a spicier hot sauce with it but otherwise they were really yummy and filling. read more

Happy hour is between 4 and 6 PM beginning on Monday through Friday. I tried the happy hour menu this past week, and have only been for cocktails during the nighttime. It was packed during the weekday, so the line to order was a bit long. I ordered the spicy mango-rita and my friend got the strawberry rhubarb mule. The spicy mango-rita was not spicy, and only had a tahin rim so I was disappointed by the advertisement. The cocktails taste like candy, so you can dilute the sweetness with water. I went to a cigar smoker hosted at Jackie's. The atmosphere is amazing, there's enough heaters so weather is not an issue. The service is good. The workers could use better attitudes & overall safety procedures - the ladies walking around serving drinks were kind however. The drinks relatively pretty spendy - 2 Topo Chico's w/ Small tip was roughly 18$. The DJ lowkey sucked and the dance floor was lacking big time. I did think the venue itself was very cool but this place is missing it's mark. I did notice the crowd they catered to was mostly 21 y/o - ironic that they stream Love Island so frequently because all their patrons look and act like knock off contestants. There was definitely drugs being sold which was WILD - I was there roughly 10 minutes before someone asked if I wanted to buy. I'm willing to give Jackie's another chance as it's where some of the main bar scene in Portland is at. The restaurant is a bit small, there's a dance floor, but it didn't feel that hyped. I paid $13 dollars for a tiny martini glass that looked pretty sad (drinks are over priced). Between all the TVs and the giant screens with bleacher-like seating arranged around them in the main room, and a better than average sports bar menu, this is just a great place to watch a game with your pals. I've only been here in the daytime when it's pretty chill but word is there's a totally different vibe at night, with doormen and DJs and more of a nightclub scenario. Service is indifferent, but my Caesar salad was actually not bad - not too overdressed, well sized and the extra grilled chicken I got with it was tender and nicely seasoned, making it a hearty meal. Gotta say though, the bathrooms are meh. Worst experience of my life. Asked security if I could smoke in the outside area, told me I was too drunk- mind you I was not drunk I tried to explain myself and ask to go to the bathroom but before I had a chance they started physically shoving my boyfriend and I out I grabbed the rail to stabilize myself and the white security guard shoved my head to the ground. Lots of events here! Fun place to go with a group of friends -- it's always busy! They have an outdoor area too.

I don't remember much about this night which tells me i liked this bar a lot! I do remember stepping into the Photo Booth to snap some group selfies, and the music being so good, with the upstairs/downstairs vibe and yummy cocktails. Great spot to watch the fights. I recommend going earlier to avoid the lines. This place gets PACKED. Great for dancing and a fun night out. Huge TV's and tons of seating. Multiple sectioned off areas to explore. Asked if they could add spicy to the mojito and it was 10/10. Someone came around to the tables for more orders & I was able to pay on the spot. The upstairs patio is beautiful with a great view. There are two bars downstairs which have great service and are quick! The bar in the back has food options. Would give this 3.5 if I could!! The atmosphere is so incredibly cool here but the service is lacking. First of all this place is huge and I didn't get to see all of it but I know besides the main "Arena" floor, they do have An outdoor area with fire pits and a seperate bar and they do have an upstairs area as well. I was at a conference and my friends and I mostly spent our time in the main bleacher-like seating area so we could watch the nba games and the draft on that Thursday. The seating here is so cool, wooden bleachers and an area to put your drink and food and then massive TVs up top. Everywhere you sit has a good view of the TVs which is awesome for sports. Watching the draft here was so much fun! The service was a little lacking for me. They're not the most friendliest probably because they are so busy, but the food runner person got our order wrong twice and I felt so bad for her as she had to run up the stairs to deliver. We had numbers and everything so I'm not sure if the bartenders were Messing up or what but she was not happy. If you're in Portland, come here to watch sports! hi! a security guard came up to my friend tonight and told her to leave right now. she said what happened/why and he said she needed to leave because she was standing on a bench and he had warned her "3 times" I told him I've been with my friend the whole night, I'm sober and I don't know why he's trying to kick her out (we paid $20 each). he wouldn't listen to me and kept saying I'm not talking to you. then i started to walk out the back towards the exit where they pointed and another security guard touched my chest and pushed me away. I said "I'm just trying to leave" and he said eventually let me leave. genuinely none of my friends have ever experienced this, this is our first time in Jackie's and we will never be coming back. Super cute! I got a very Palm Springs vibe which was a pleasant surprise in this location. I LOVE the outdoor space, particularity the roof. Popcorn chicken says twice fried but it's kind of soggy and the marinade/sauce is odd. Birria nachos are okay, but eat them fast because they can get soggy too. Drinks here are good, vibes are great though it's not the Century you may remember. My overall recommendation is to eat at a nearby food cart before you swing by. But make sure you come early! We told friends we were having dinner in the area and they recommended that we check out Jackie's for the new space. We had an early dinner so came here before the Friday night rush around 8PM and had no wait getting in and were able to get a whole row in their inside area. Really loved how they broke out the spaces with the bottom outdoor area with plenty of heat lamps, the upstairs overlooking the space, and the indoor area with leveled rows to watch the various screens. If you're not watching the current game be sure to enjoy their music since they had a fire playlist on Friday night. They have some unique drink specials like an ube flavor that got us interested. Drinks overall are OK and didn't get to try food this time so can't comment on what they have. Would recommend just getting drinks that are on tap as the cocktails were a mixed review. When we were heading out we also saw the DJ setting up outside as well but didn't stay too long. By the time we left around 9:30PM there was a line out the door trying to get in so if you're not down for rager be sure to come earlier to just enjoy the space! read more

I think the only complaints I had about this place is that it gets super overcrowded since they cut rooftop access ag 1am, and then of course you have the usual, some people just don't know how to act. The drinks were a bit more on the expensive side, but I enjoyed that a waitress would come to the rooftop to take drink orders, rather than having some of us wait in a long line! Definitely worth it. Stopped by to get a couple of my favorite things on the menu, but they had already rotated the selection. The menu is classic, standard bar food nothing too exciting. But the drinks are pretty good. My favorite currently is Del Prete's Mojito -- a twist on a traditional mojito with rum and red wine.
