If you want to know more about the Jack McShea's restaurant in Ardmore, PA Sort by Lowest Rated - to get a better understanding of this place.
A lot of people are saying the same thing.
There's comments about the owner being a jerk, unfriendly bartenders, poor service, the bartenders making it feel like it's a burden to serve you, and the list goes on. I think the staff and owner are on drugs, or they just aren't competent enough to run a business!
For me it all started on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021
First and foremost. The owner Neil T McShea needs to teach his bartenders better mannerism, and how to properly ban people from his Jack McShea's restaurant.
I called Neil McShea last Thursday (3/18/2021), because I was assaulted by a female bartender and kicked out around 11:15 PM on St. Patrick's Day.
She poked me in the stomach repeatedly for standing in the entryway of the bar and waving. I had only done it, because I was standing there for 5 minutes and I couldn't get anyone's attention.
I was ready to leave and I didn't want to leave my friend's drink unattended. All of a sudden a male bartender by the name of Sean cursed at me.
He said, "Take this $20 and get the f*ck outta here before I call the cops!"
So I leave and end up calling the cops myself, but there was nothing that could be done.
When I got in contact with the owner on Thursday.
He told me that I could go back whenever, and he felt that maybe people were having a bad day.
So I go back Friday night (3/19/2021)
As soon as I sit down. I get told to leave and that the cops were on their way.
As I'm walking home in a state of confusion, because of the whole ordeal.
An officer which I've known for many years gets my side of the story and he decides on doing the logical thing.
Which is to ask the staff how long I'm banned for.
An unclear answer was given.
They told the officer that I can go back in a couple months.
But telling someone to go back in a couple months doesn't help when the staff will probably call the cops again.
It could be three months later, and if those kids are working and the owner isn't there. I'm sure they'll play cops & robbers with me again.
All because they want to power trip on citizens of Lower Merion.
The owner says one thing, but he's never there to supervise.
So the employees do what they want. It's as if kids in their mid 20's are in that restaurant showing their immaturity and acting invincible like they can't be fired, because their boss "Uncle Neil" owns the place.
