I come here often, usually the service is great + the food is fresh. however the past two times they're has been around 7:20 a lady with a dirty blonde ponytail (slightly overweight) has a major attitude problem, I had an extra request for a bag for the sauces so they wouldn't be flying around the car (I got the munchie meal which comes in a box) and as I was speaking she closed the window on me, I repeated it loud enough for her to hear me through the window and she pretended she couldn't hear me and walked away. I know she could hear me because I've worked fast food too and am well aware of how thick the glass is/how sound proof they are... I also know that's not how you treat PAYING customers. I'm pretty sure this lady is a manager cause of what she was wearing, IF she is a manager that's a telling sign on how this store functions as a whole. they're used to be a very nice gentleman who would be working mornings and he was AMAZING and super accommodating. #misshim read more

I know.. leaving a review for jack in the box. nice. They are probably short staffed but, every time i come here they seem to be "closed". They ask if we are a door dasher and if not they tell us they're closed. Kinda sucks, when you want a quick snack at 10pm and they say they close at2am, but they don't? Idk. I came here with my mom through the drive-thru and got our food the burgers were ordered correctly and my spicy chicken sandwich was plain and the fries were fresh again we went there yesterday and the worker was very kind the same lady helped us today and she was kind the food was hot and fresh. Also, there were not very many people so it was quick to get our food also the place was not dirty it was cleaned nothing gross the kitchen was cleaned as well I will come back and I hope that the worker is there still she is the best ever. Good food the food is good and I enjoy coming here and getting great food. I usually get a spicy chicken sandwich plain nothing on it just the meat and the bun and they get it right I don't like anything on my sandwiches. Also friendly staff and hardworking staff to say the most. Pretty small average jack in the box but it's pretty clean but some trash on the ground but as long there's no roaches or rats I'm good so I will be back again also it's pretty pricy but still it's worth coming here they deserve more stars. read more

My sister and I each ordered a combo meal on 6/8/24. On top of high prices, (total was $36.99) the sandwiches were quite dry and the milkshakes ordered were too thick, too sweet texture was off. Asked for spoons and were told they lost their spoons...whatever that means. Tired of the low quality of fast food restaurants these days. The food was not edible, my sister choked on the sandwhich, couldn't wash it down with the milkshake because it wouldn't come through the straw. Luckily she had water with her. Last time I went to the Jack In The Box in yelm they had ants crawling from down the drive threw window from inside. They food is of typical Jack In The Box fashion, but from seeing the ants and hearing many horror stories of rats I wouldn't eat it. The servers are of typical fast food workers. Jack in the box your my favorite fast food resteraunt but here is 2 things that was a problem well my mom wanted the crossant sand which but they gave us a biscut sandwich when i orderd 2 plain chicken sandwhichs but then they had stuff on them the cook did not pay attention to the order the worker helping us was nice but she got upset because they got the food wrong. The food was great spicy chicken sandwiches were yummy the fries perfect amount of salt the food was made fresh we waited there for a little bit for the food to be remade and the fries i was gonna give this a 5 star but the wait time and the wrong order what took the 2 stars away jack in the box is a good resteraunt so i am gonna give you a 3 star jack in the box had a little bit of trash like ripped straw rappers but it was cleaned the food is better then burger king's food so 3 stars you get. Stopped by here today for a quick lunch. Yelm, WA July 8th 2022. The Good: The employees working the drive through were awesome, the service was quick and polite. The Bad: After eating my meal, I developed severe indigestion, which later turned into a sick stomach and vomiting, and then onto diarrhea. It was the only thing that I had eaten and I was fine prior to. I will never eat at any Jack in the Box anywhere ever again. read more

The food was ok for fast food, its your average Jack in the Box food so that wasn't the issue, IMO it seemed that it took longer then normal for them fo get our order done. In regards RY, I dont think I have seen many fast food joints that give you the product and it looks exactly as the menu shows it, I do remember seeing a Kim Komando video where the guy went to various fast food restaurants, and if the burger didnt look like what the menu showed it he took it back and demanded that they remake it and make it to look like what the menu showed and that only Burger King did it right the first time. read more

Went through the drive thru with my family on our way home just so we could get the kids fed so close to bedtime. Got to the window to pay and some really skinny guy was making a shake and I kid you not, he LICKED excess ice cream off his bare hands, BOTH HANDS then wiped his nose on the back of his bare hand. Both my husband and daughter ordered beef and my son and I got chicken. I specifically got the spicy chicken. My son ended up not eating the chicken strips and all I can think is THANK GOD. Since midnight I've been up throwing up and more unpleasantness. I should have trusted my judgement and passed on the food. I'm just happy I was the one that got sick and not my kids. read more

I have been to this location a few times and overall, it is about average in service level. Customer service is not overly friendly or courteous but, not offensive or abrasive. As far as food quality, I would say it is, "good" with freshness and taste being consistent. After today, I will not be back. My husband gave me his card to pick up some food from this location. I showed the lady at the window my military ID showing that I was his dependent (has his name on the ID too) and explained to her he asked me to pick up food. She absolutely refused to allow the purchase to go through on his card. When she saw me writing the number on the window on a receipt from running my card for the order, she never came back to the window so I could get her name. I have NEVER had an issue until today. Don't usually do reviews on yelp but this I had to i went their after work this morning at the hospital and I stayed in my security uniform and I went and ordered took 5 minute then I went and sat down and the food was so gross I got an bacon and cheese biscuit the cheese was cold and the bacon wasn't even cooked and it was just gross so I ate half then threw it away then I went up to ask for a cup to get water and their was no one their so i wait a few minute and no one comes so I raise my voice and say excuse me can I get a cup of water no one comes so i say it even louder then finally one of the employees comes up colored hair with a ton of tats and says what is the problem like I'm being the bad guy and I say I've been asking for a cup of water for 5 minute and she says me and all the employees were in the back and I say what should be a no brainer shouldn't u have someone up here and she says no why and I say cause I'm a customer and I've been waiting fir 5 minutes at least and she says whatever and rolls her eyes and says I've been at work 2 hours cooking and I about burst out laughing after coming back from a 12 hour dealing with people trying to punch me and assault staff so I was like don't go there and she's whatever and walked away and I just drive home laughing my ass off it was so funnnnny Oh and by the way she wasn't like that to the customers who weren't wearing a uniform read more

Swung in for lunch on 05/17/21 because the line wasn't that long and I was crunched for time. Big mistake. Almost 15 minutes went by between placing my order and getting to the window. It was apparent that I was going to have to mau down lunch like a barbarian to get back to work in time. Was given my order by a pair of teenagers that seemed to have no sense of urgency nor understanding of what a fast paced work environment is, only to find that the ranch I asked for with the order wasn't there, the burger was overwhelmed with sauces, messy, and sliding all over the place, and no napkins to deal with this mess were put into my bag. I had to use an old piece of mail in my truck as a napkin. My advice to management, instill a sense of urgency in your staff to work when it's time to work, not stand around talking to coworkers, and to implement some type of quality control program. A messy burger is understandable under stress and fast paced conditions, but forgetting napkins is absolutely ridiculous. read more

Not surprised the reviews are so bad. We used the drive thru. Our person was Kindra. She seemed very concerned about my I.d., which is good. They should check. However, they failed to give us our tacos, failed to notice that they put spicy chicken on my non spicy chicken sandwich, and didn't ask about condiments until they handed us the bag, and then stated they charge extra for certain condiments. Which is fine, because she forgot to give us our tacos anyway so the sour cream would have been useless. I don't live around here so no point back tracking. Also, their number goes to a fax machine. Food was okay. The biker guy could not hear when I was ordering so I yelled the order 3 times. When I finally got to the window he asked if I want a drink carrier. I said no. Then he put the two drinks into a carrier and tried to hand it to me. I told him I did not need one. Next I stated I ordered curry fries not regular and he proceeded to argue with me. He also said I order like a robot and that was why he could hear me. I told him he should not argue with the customer and he stated that he can argue with any one he wants to. Half the curly fries were culls. One of the pita's I ordered had a portion of the side of the pita bread missing. Made it hard to keep the food in when eating.
