The food was good. Service was very poor. The lady was very rude. When I asked about my orange juice for the kids meal she kept insisting my daughter grabbed it. When all we received drink wise was our fountain drinks. My husband got a meal that was suppose to come with an air freshener. Nothing said they were out of the item but when he asked he was told rudely that no we've been sold out for a while. To even deal with customers seemed like a major inconvenience. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They had maybe two cars in drive thru so they were not that busy but acted like they were slammed. Just had us order off the kiosk. Never asked if we needed help or even a greeting. Will not be going back because of the rudeness of the entire staff. read more

This is connected to the Sinclair gas station and Gold Ranch casino off the highway. Its a great pit stop that I always stop by at one of the three. Needed something quick and easy this time so we went to Jack and dined in. Usually we do drive thru. This location is clearly a franchise hanging by a thread. Not a lot of staff but with the few they have, they are friendly and try to run it efficiently. My food was fine. However everything else is bare bones. Half the tables are closed off. The bathroom is closed (you have to use the casino one). There are no napkins out. You have to ask at the counter and they tear you off a sheet from the large Bathroom roll of paper towels, lol. No condiments unless you ask. The straws were a mish mash of sizes where I think they took them from other establishments. The multi selection soda machine was out of almost every flavor but the basics. So if you come in ONLY to get your food and go, you will be just fine. read more

Omg this is the best jumbo jack with cheese I have had in a long time. Ingredients were crisp and patty tasted very yummy. The bun was also super warm and soft. Also, I didn't feel like curly fries which I usually get cause I don't like regular jack in the box fries and the fries were actually very good. The wait was a like 5 or six minutes which felt a little long cause we had to stand but covid regulations are not their fault. Also, the girl at the register (the receipt said Liliana) was sweet and friendly and working very hard to make everyone happy including one drive thru customer with a messed up order and the lady in front of me in line who acted like we were waiting half an hour. I am writing this review on the toilet because I went to this Jack in the Box last night. I waited in the drive-through line for 30 minutes, the staff was rude, the food tasted terrible (I didn't finish it), and they didn't even give me a fork with my salad. My stomach has hurt all night. This Jack in the Box is only open to cars at their drive thru. They used to accommodate Caltrans snow plow operators walking up to the drive up window but due to some lame ass manager they won't let us buy food at the window anymore and their dining room is closed. I've been here 3 times now and each time, I've waited at the counter without so much as an acknowledgement for extended periods of time. They are clearly understaffed keeping customers both inside and at the drive through waiting. Subsequently there is then a colossal wait to actually get the food. Coupons are supposed to save money. This one actually cost me money. I recently attended a local minor-league baseball game, where the team has an arrangement with Jack in The Box that if they win, everyone attending gets a coupon for a free Jumbo Jack. I seldom eat fast food (and when I do, it's either Panda Express or a teriyaki bowl from Jack), but since I knew I would be passing by a Jack in the Box in the near future, I'd go ahead and take the coupon. A couple weeks ago, I had a chance to use the coupon at a local franchise. I saw the fine print said that the Jumbo Jack was free with the "purchase of a large drink." OK, no problem, since I wanted a milkshake as well. So, I ordered my Jumbo Jack with a milkshake, and presented the coupon. "Oh," said the cashier, "this is only free if you purchase a drink." One could argue that a milkshake is not actually a drink, so I said, "OK, in that case I'll have a Jumbo Jack with a large coffee." Again, the cashier replied that the coupon would only work if I ordered a large drink. I didn't happen to have my dictionary with me, so I couldn't point out that the word "drink," when used as a noun, means "A liquid for drinking; a beverage," and that same dictionary goes on to describe a "beverage" as "any one of various liquids for drinking, usually excluding water." So it seemed to me I was firmly onside with my purchase of coffee, but again, the cashier said that coffee was not a drink--only soda counts. I seldom, if ever, drink soda. At this point, really all I wanted was my free Jumbo Jack. So, being the literal interpreter that I am, I noticed that the coupon said you had to purchase a drink (which really is Jack-speak for "soda," not that you actually had to consume it. "OK, then," I offered, one last time. "In that case, I'd like a large vanilla milkshake, a large soda, and my free Jumbo Jack." That time, the cashier took the order and did not charge me for the Jumbo Jack, but did charge me for both the large soda and the large milkshake. But, I had the last laugh: I took the tray containing my Jumbo Jack and milkshake, but left the cup for the soda on the counter. I had won and gotten my free Jumbo Jack anyway, without ever actually getting the soda. When I saw the receipt, I see that this purchase of a large soda and a large milkshake ended up costing me MORE than it would had I just bought the Jumbo Jack and milkshake alone and didn't use a coupon. So Jack got an extra three bucks out of me, supposedly by giving away a "free" Jumbo Jack. The irony of the whole thing is that I didn't even really like the Jumbo Jack. I do have occasional cravings for a big greasy hamburger, but the Jumbo Jack just wasn't very good. I enjoyed it even less knowing it cost me more than it should have after having supposedly been "free." Oh, and that soda cup? As far as I know, it's still sitting on their counter, weeks later, waiting to be claimed. read more

Very poor customer service. I ordered the Black Pepper Cheeseburger combo. The picture shows onion rings, but when I open it up, no onion rings. I go to the counter and the person says I think we ran out. I say I just saw him cooking onion rings. If you ran out of onion rings you should tell me before you sell me the burger. So then I talk to the manager and she says mistakes happen and she acted like she was't going to do anything about my missing onion rings. So I say refund my money or give me something to make up for not having onion rings. She puts two onion rings in a bag and gives them to me. read more

I stop at Jack in the Box at Gold Ranch Road in Verdi when ever I go to to get my lotto tickets; and I notice all the employees are very pleasant, very friendly with all the customers, specially Elvira and Alejandra. one time I saw one of the employees clock out and on her way out she notice a customer having a hard time figuring out how to work the soda machine. She took the time to show the customer how to work the automated soda machine even though she was already off work. Also the food does not take long to come out, of course you have to take into consideration how many people ordered before you. I noticed a lot of the customers greet Elvira by her name ( I believe she is the manager ) to me that means they are regular customers who are happy with the food and customer service and are back for more. She said she would give me fresh chicken strips , less than 5 minutes later gave me the same chicken strips I returned for being over cooked.
