At 15:04 on Friday November 11, 2022, I went through the drive thru window to order a hamburger. The woman at the window took my credit card and went to the back of the store with it! When she didn't return right away, I called out to here asking where she took my card. She told me to quit worrying, she has it "right here". Being a victim of bank fraud caused by a waiter a few years ago, I am hyper alert to criminal-type activity like this. I do NOT like my card out of my sight, and I told her this. She told me "next time pay cash, motherfucker" and tossed my card back to me. I asked her what her name was and she said "I don't have to tell you. and tossed the bag with my hamburger at me and slammed the window. But hey, "TONYA", your name is on the receipt here. Thanks to my experience at this place, I could not enjoy my hamburger. I also went directly to my bank and had them cancel my card and issue a new one. Ordered an Uber Eats from this location specifically for a shake. Driver called me saying "shake machine was broken." Texted a friend who was working there and they told me that it was indeed in working condition but they had decided not to set it up that day as they "simply just felt like not making any shakes because they knew they would be making them all day if they turned it on." The Jack in the Box on Warm Spring is very good and has been quite consistent close to the VW dealership when I'm getting my car fixed. The people who took my order were friendly and not acting miserable like most fast food workers. My breakfast burrito was fresh (not an old tasting grease taste like some fast food joints), my coke drink was cold and crisp. I visit often this place and I not even once was unhappy. Straight up awful service. Go elsewhere. We've ordered food through Uber Eats for this location a few times and they continually forget half the food and then when we call to notify them, they're rude and unhelpful. Tonight, 10/31/20 we got someone else's order through Uber Eats again but it said that our order was still being made at the store. My boyfriend called to ask if they had an order with his name as we got someone else's food and the guy who answered was very super short and said that he didn't see an order with our name. He refused to put a manager on the phone to ask if the order ever actually showed up to the store. He refused to check for our order at all. He said that the manager was on break and wasn't available and we could call back in 5 minutes. He then hung up on us. We called back to get the name of who he spoke with. Another woman named Dana answered and told my boyfriend that there was no manager and that she wouldn't be in until 6 am. My boyfriend told her that the other guy he spoke with told him something else and asked what was the truth. She hung up on us. That's the second time they hung up on us. My boyfriend called back and asked for her name so he could report her to the manager for being rude and she began cursing at him and hung up for the third time. I'm not sure what kind of people this location is employing but I'll never buy from this location again since their night crew clearly can't be professional. The best thing about this Jack in the Box is that it's open late. But, if you're up that late and you actually take time to think about your options, you would probably just go across the street and pick something up from Metropolitan Market. The fryer is always runing and you can expect the same food that you would get any other Jack in the Box. The staff is always solid, they work pretty hard here. read more

This place serves cold food and often forget things from your order. Tonight's the second time the guy forgot our beverages (an Oreo milkshake a couple of weeks ago and a coke today). The first time we came here a couple of months ago they missed an order of curly fries. I get it if this happens when they're busy but all of these happen between 9-11pm with only one or two other cars as their customer at drive through. This is fast food. This is your belly after fast food. I know, It's not pretty. While I loathe the need for food on the go, sometimes a gal's gotta eat. So I pull up to the drive through and some jerk behind me is crawling up my tail pipe. I ignore and speak into the box, the very nice voice on the other end assures that she had my order 100% correct and she did. I pull up and am greeted warmly. I am handed my bag of food, but not before being asked sincerely if my order is correct and a geniune wish for me to have a good day. You may be working in a fast food drive-through, but you're giving prime-time high quality service and for that, I truly did have a better day. My biggest complain with this place was the service. I know what to expect when I go to a fast food place as far as the quality of food...but I definitely expect some sort of respect when it comes to service. I went there with my roommate, and immediately noticed the rowdy teenage crowd. There was a lot of swearing and racial slurs flying around the dining room. My roommate went to order first, and the cashier yelled out "Hey whats your name?" to one of the teenage guys that was leaving. She wouldn't take my roommate's order until the guy gave her his name. Then when I ordered, she just walked away after taking the order and I paid. She didn't offer me a receipt or my cup. My roommate at least got a cup. But she just disappeared, and I had to wait for someone else to give me a cup when they called my number. But I didn't know my number because she never told me, nor gave me a receipt. So I just had to see what was on the tray and go get it. This place made me feel like crap-in-the-box. read more

I guess sometimes it's nice to be easy. It's just like any other JITB... I don't expect much other than a fresh chicken sandwich. (I order mine with a tomato slice added.) This morning was no different. Don't ask me why a chicken sandwich was a good idea for breakfast. It just was. And it was just one dollar. As I pulled up to pay, I was told, "Thank you for being so easy. They [the car behind me] are driving me nuts." I try not to complicate things too much-- I'm sure details aren't too easy to understand on the other side of a drive-through window. You're welcome nice lady. Despite this place being so nasty to everyone, it doesn't stop the lines from being 16 cars long every night. It really is a hit or miss with this location. One day, it looks like they spent 5 minutes making your burger and other days, it looks like they spent 5 seconds putting your beef patty on your bun and forgetting to put everything else on it. They recently got new employees to work at this location. THANK GOD! The guys who used to work here would shut it down at 10:00 (it's open 24 hours) and chill in the eating area with their friends and not come to the window when you pulled up. Horrible! Then when we walked in there was garbage everywhere, I asked the young women at the counter if a tornado came through, she just smiled at me. So, we turned around and left.
